Sleek Side Part Ponytail W/ Edges | *Using Beauty Supply Store Bundles*

One me what's popping: yes again: it's your girl, yes and i'm. Finally, back with another video and finally back with another hair tutorial, i missed you guys. I hope you all miss me too anyways, i'm coming through with this new banger, don't forget to like comment and subscribe. I got straight into it because i forgot to record an intro: it's okay, though it's cool, though right. So if you can't tell by the title or the thumbnail of this video, i am doing a low ponytail, hair tutorial and i'm adding bundles. So i'm showing you guys the length in bundles. This is 18 22 and 24 inch bundles. It came in a three pack and i only spent 25 dollars on this bro like yes, i only spent 25 dollars. I got them from the beauty supply. So if you have a beauty, supply store, go ahead and run to that and go see how much their bundles cost and yeah that's just baddie on a budget because i remember i bought bundles, but i got them from amazon and they were like a hundred and Something dollars, but these were only 25. I am gon na. Let you guys know these bundles. They were really good, but i don't recommend buying bundles from the beauty supply store. If you plan on wearing your hair or your ponytail for more than a day, anyways, i'm showing you guys here now, i'm just parting, my hair, so i went in with my edge brush slash rat tail comb, because that's what i used to part my hair and I was having trouble at first but as you guys seen in the video all i did, i just applied some gel on my hair and then with that i just part my hair, you could do a middle part. You could do a side part like me so boom. I just do that and the way i part the hairs. I just do it into like a c shape, not a straight line. I just do a c shape, so once i'm done parting, my hair i like to go in with this, got to be free spray, and i spray that all over this spray is what helps my hair stay in place for more than 24 hours. More than two days, the most i had my hair in like a ponytail was three days, but it still looked slayed like if it was the first day. So now, what i'm doing is i'm going through with the back of the edge brush, not the hard part, but more like the calm side, the baby comb side and i'm just going in and i'm brushing the hair down. I couldn't find my rat tail comb, so i had to use this and i use this so that there's no bumps no tangles anything to make sure it's just slicked down. I'M gon na go ahead and go in with some more gel on areas. I feel like gel needs to be added, and then i'm going to go ahead with my hard bristle brush and just slick that down now, i'm showing you guys the new edge control i use this is the edge booster, the pink jar i forgot. What set it is, but it smells really good and i got this at the beauty supply store. So yes, do you have a beauty supply store near you? You can go get some comment down below if you use this because i feel like this works as good as any other edge control that i've used before. So i'm just applying it to the side part and then just the front area of my hair. And then i'm going in with my edge brush and i'm slicking my side part down, because i have a hard time making sure it just lays down. Sometimes it lifts this. Sometimes i just i don't like it there's tangles in there. I don't like it. So this is what i do to make sure it's just slicked down. So really all i've been doing is just slicking. My hair down just making sure there's no knots and tangles, and that's really the key to having your hair laid all day, is just keep going over it with your brush and just keep going over it until it's just smooth down, as you would like. So now i'm going in with my rubber bands and i'm tying my hair, so yeah now we're gon na move on to the next step after you're done tying your hair, i like to use three rubber bands by the way i don't like how one rubber band Feels on my hair call me if you do the same thing i don't know, maybe because i have thick hair and one rubber band doesn't tie my hair off tightly or wet. But let me know if you guys do the same thing. So now i'm just licking my hair down, like i said i always have a hard time making sure the side part stays slick down. So all i really do is just add more edge control and i just flick it down my edge brush, but moving on, as you guys can see, my hair is slick and laid yes baby, but yeah. I just love how slick down my hair is so now. I go with this travel sized edge booster and i just apply it to my edges and i feel like it's. 20 21.. Everybody knows how to do edges and if you don't, i feel like they're self-explained, so i don't really have to do too much explaining. But if i do i'll just do it real, quick, you really just get your edge brush. You put your you swoop. Your hair, like you literally just, do a swoop a swoop and you hold it down with your other hand, so i don't know if that made any sense y'all, but i'm pretty sure you guys could just see what i'm doing and go from there once you're done With your edges, this is optional. You don't have to do this, but i like to do it because it makes my edges last longer and it takes off any remainder edge control that i have that i don't need, but i just tie my edges with a headband. So now, i'm just with the loose ponytail, whether you have long or short hair, you just braid it together and then you tie it off and then i ordered these hair wraps from amazon, and i use these because i like to put glue on my bundles because It makes the bundles last longer. You do have an option. You can use bobby pins to install your bundles or you could use this wrap your hero, hair up and just add hair glue to your bundles. Once i'm done wrapping it. I want to secure the wrap with some hair glue. I did buy this hair glue at the beauty supply store as well. So that's what i'm doing, i'm just applying a little bit a small amount of hair glue and i'm going to wrap it to make sure it just stays in place. So moving on you're going to get your bundles ready and what i like to do is i like to apply in small sections i like to apply some glue wrap the hair around then apply more glue then wrap it around. Instead of putting all the glue on the bundle and then wrapping it all at once, i do do it in small sections. So that's really what i'm doing now, but i want to tell you guys a little bit about these bundles. They are from the beauty, supply store. These bundles are good quality, but i'm not going to sit here and act like these. Bundles are the same quality as some bundles. You would pay that are like 100 a piece these bundles are good for a 24 hour period. Okay, like anything after 24 hours, these bundles is not gon na look good and they are not gon na feel the same. So if you do plan on like doing this hairstyle on yourself for like an event, that's going to be longer than 24 hours or more than a day, i wouldn't recommend wearing these bundles. Maybe your beauty supply store, has better quality bundles. I just picked these out. I like them, i didn't have these on for more than day, but i noticed that if you were to have these on for more than a day, they won't be the same quality as when you first get them. They do tangle and they do feel really like dry after a minute. So that's really just about these bundles, but other than that for for the day, you're gon na look popping girl. I promise you that now, i'm going in with my second bundle so, depending on how long your hair is or your braid is, that depends on how many bundles you will use. I needed two bundles to make a full ponytail now you're, literally repeating the same steps over and over again until the bundle is done. You just add glue to the bundle and wrap the bundle around so you're. Just gon na do that, and this is the second bundle i'm using. I used two bundles out of the pack. It came in three, so i had three bundles in one pack. That would cost me 25 dollars, but i only used two of them so, depending on your hair length, it depends how many bundles you'll need, so yeah just go based off how long your hair is and how long you really want your ponytail to be so. I'M just gon na, let you guys sit here and join me finishing wrapping this hair as i'm editing this video. Oh, my gosh y'all, look at my ponytail. It came out cute, but don't do this mistake that i did i fixed it at the end, but i literally cut the bundles because i thought the bundle was long enough and you know too long and it just wasn't going to work. So i cut it to make it shorter, because i thought i was already finished, but no, as i turned around i'm realizing, i still got that hair wrap showing. So you guys do not cut your bundles unless you know it covered the whole hair wrap. But as i'm do, what i'm doing now is i just cut it and then i'm gluing it to make sure it's just secured, and i try to be low-key and i try to hide it by grabbing some hair and wrapping it around either way. You still do that, but i don't recommend to cut the bundle, don't do what i do skip. That part finish your bundle off and then you can move on to this process. So once your bundle's glued in you can go ahead with your comb and just comb out any tangles and just make sure the bundles are tangle free. So what i'm going to do now is i'm just grabbing some hair, a small section of hair from under the ponytail and what i'm going to do with that is i'm just going to comb it through i'm going to add some got to be free spray, and I'M going to start wrapping it around, basically hiding the hair wrap and basically just hiding the bundles piece. That'S sticking out so so i did repeat that step a few times. I do suggest to just don't cut the bundles, just wrap the hair up all the way around and then at the end, just grab one section of hair from underneath the ponytail and wrap it around. To give you a more neater look. So that's really all for this video after you're done with this step, you're really done with your hair, and this is how this hairstyle came out on me. I actually liked it and i love how blonde looks. I know i get a lot of compliments every time.
