Hey beauty, queens. I missed you guys in this video, I'm gon na be showing you guys how to do a cool ponytail. This is just a technique me. I have everything edges and I'm very self-conscious about it. So I'm just trying to warm up to let you guys see like there's people out here that really do have these issues and not everybody has a head full of hair and in some ways you could work around it. So I just put some heat protectant on my hand, I'm giving myself a flat hand after that, I'm gon na go and I'm gon na make an L shape part and then I'm gon na make another part on the opposite side. So it's gon na create a box you're gon na leave that box out and everything else you're gon na put back into a ponytail, so I'm just taking out my hair on the side and I'm gon na slick everything else back. One side is actually worse than the other, that's actually the worse side. I don't know why I picked to do my part on that side, but whatever so we're gon na use some Murray's edge wax this stuff is Zee bomb. It'S gon na hold everything in place and I'm using black. I always use black. The black actually helps to when your hair is thin. It fills in any gaps that you may have and I find that when I use black edge control or the beeswax, the consistency is better to me. That'S just my personal opinion, so I'm just gon na head in with the brush getting everything in place and then I'm just gon na pull it over to a ponytail. Now we're going to do our swoop, I'm gon na separate the hair into, and then I'm gon na use some black edge control, certainly the bottom half of this root down. The reason why you want to do it imparts is because you wanted something as flat as possible, and then you also do not want to have any type of gaps or you don't want it to not lay the way you want to. So, by doing it piece by piece, it comes out much better and the more here you have the harder it is for you to just do a school ponytail all in one. So it's just better to do it step by step and piece by piece so that you didn't get those roots. If I want exactly how you want it, so here I'm going to add a track for length, I am going to be pulling this track in and I need you guys to really pay attention to what I'm doing a lot of people are afraid to put glue In their hair, first off, I'm only doing one track. Second of you have to make sure that when you put the glue on the track, you are placing the track onto your scalp and I'm using the glue and I'm using a spritz, and I'm using my blow-dryer. That is good to make sure that the glue is tacky before you even place it onto your hair. If the goo is wet like it's really really wet and you place it onto your hair, it's going to travel. So that's what that's! What causes your hair to get glue on it? You want to make sure that you don't put a whole lot of glue. You just put a little bit of onion and then, when you take it out or they have glue remover and there's conditioner, it comes right out of your hair. Do not rip the track out or anything like that. You just have to make sure you apply the tracks properly and you take them out properly. So here you can see, I placed it on there now, I'm going to flour onion the one track just so that is straight and that it can fall into my school. You have the option to either take out your ponytail and redo it or you can just add another rubber band or twisty tie on top of the rubber band that you already had me. I'M gon na take my knuckles and redo it. What you see me spray with some sebastian cheaper. If you guys know you know, I love that stuff, it's a form of spritz, it's a holding spray, it does not leave your hair white and it holds a really really really good. I'M in love with that stuff. So now it's time for me to work with these edges. So my issue is that I have here around my hairline, but I have sitting behind my hairline. So what I'm gon na do is I'm going to use the black edge control and I'm gon na use. The hair on my hairline to create my edges, the black edge control, is gon na help, camouflage where you have this thinning out. I just want to let you guys know that I really never thought that I would ever be showing you guys any type of videos like this. I thought that I will only be doing videos on my clients or models for just hairstyles that I just wanted to show you guys. I'Ve never thought that I'd be doing this, but a lot of people have the same issues and a lot of people are self-conscious about it, and I've come to a realization that I'm probably never gon na have any and that's just what it's gon na be. So I got to work with what I got and why not help others in the process. So yes, this is one of the reasons why we use the black edge control to help with any edits and also for gray hair. So I'm just gon na you know work the other side as well. The other side has the swoop, so we don't really have no issues with like this on this side, but we're just gon na make everything come together and then I'm gon na put a mega ratman strip on top and now I'm gon na do my ponytail. I believe this is like the third invisible ponytail video that I have and you guys should know how to do right now and if you don't know how to do it by now, you can watch my other videos that show you how to do it step-by-step, but It'S very simple, very easy. I just added some braiding hair to my ponytail. What I'm gon na do is I'm gon na start from the bottom. I'M gon na go the tips of the track to the bottom of the braid, and I'm gon na continue to circle up until I get to the top of the ponytail and then I'm going to finish up with the wraparound. That'S how the invisible ponytail works. You just add your hair, there's a mine one length, I'm using using 12 inches of mousse deep way from my hair collection. You can turn 12 inches to 24 inches with this invisible Bonita. I'M gon na be using a bundle and a half, and I think we're about to come up on to where we're gon na be done with the first bundle when we add the second bundle you're not going to glue the second bundle. You'Re, just gon na put a pin in it and then you're gon na continue to wrap to the top. So I'm going to take the rapid trip off. I just don't like having it on. Sometimes it just irritates me, but you can take it off when you're completely done with your style. But I want to take mine off now and I'm gon na go in and just do some finishing touches on a couple of spikes and then I couldn't go in from the back of my ponytail. I'M gon na fly in a piece and then I'm gon na wrap it around. I just want to comb it out a little bit just to make sure no pieces are stuck, but we are finished with our spa neato. You can make your swoop as deep as your light. I really like here in my face, so I didn't want mine too deep, but you can make it as deep as you like, but here goes the finished product. I hope you guys like it. I hope you guys, like it we'll learn how to do the technique. It'S quick! It'S easy! It'S cheap, please feel free to comment like share and subscribe and do not forget to follow through by date on Instagram for the most recent posts and updates, and I can't wait to see you guys next time.

Jasmine Ashley: Don’t hide your flaws! Just because you’re a stylist doesn’t mean you don’t have your issues with your hair as well. From one stylist to the next.. we connect better with our clients when they know we have flaws too. I’m glad you’re doing this. You never know who you’re helping

Royanna Williams: You did an excellent job in this video. I've had a head full of hair and now I've cut it all off but the one thing I lost very young were my edges. My edges and hairline were all baby hairs and I shaved them all off trying to follow a trend in the '80's and they sparsely grew back. Over almost 40 years later and after stylist after stylist attempting to cover up those large patches of nothingness on styles that I so desperately wanted, and after having to cut my hair for brain surgery, I've come to realize that I'M MORE THAN MY HAIR! There is no need to be self conscious of what God Gave Me and Made You To Be...Believe and Know the You Are Enough 24/365! And if you ever get confused about that at anytime please get in touch with me and I will remind EVER SINGLE TIME! GOD BLESS YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY AND BLESS AND PRAY FOR YOUR CONTINUE SUCCESSFUL AND GROWTH!
