Sleek Low Ponytail On Natural Short 4B Hair | No Heat! No Bundles!

Welcome to my channel!

Today’s video is about how I slick my natural coils into a low sleek ponytail. I also show my secret weapon which is a wrap around ponytail from Studio Techilo. I do this style on damp hair and do not use any heat like a blow dryer or flat iron to achieve this look. I have 4b hair and my hair is also on the thick side and this method gets my hair super sleek.

Hello, everybody welcome back to my channel, welcome if you're new, i'm g and today i have a little quick video, just showing you how i got this pony with no bundles, no glue, no heat, just a natural. You know little slick back like who are you? My name is a pimp named slickback. You know it's going to be like a voiceover, so you know just follow along. If you want to achieve this hairstyle um, the secret is actually this ponytail. It is from studio, tech glow, it's like a salon in atlanta and they do sell hair as well, and this is a wrap around ponytail. So that's why i said: there's no bundles no need to glue and wrap, and all of that you know this takes less than five minutes to do like i said there is no heat on my natural hair. I have about 4b somewhere around there type hair. I did a big chop, um, maybe close to a year ago. I think it was like last august, so my hair is not long at all, so i did manage to slick it back into like a low type of ponytail and you don't even have to add this ponytail. If you don't want to, you can definitely do like a low slick bun with this method as well. So i show you everything. You need um, it's quick! It'S easy! It'S perfect! For the summer, oh my gosh, it's weather friendly, like it's heat friendly. You won't sweat. Your hair out nothing that stays in place. Girls. You just need to give this a try, um, don't forget to like comment and subscribe and yeah keep on watching. These are the products that i use. I have echo style gel edge control like a moisturizer and a leave-in conditioner spray. Everything will be in the description. This is my hair freshly washed. Look at my little coils, my curls, i'm so happy. I big chopped. My hair is so healthy. Now, um just love! It so right now, i'm spraying in a leave-in conditioner. This is the it's a 10 miracle spray, just to kind of moisturize and kind of make my hair easier to detangle and right now, i'm using a wide tooth comb to detangle. So i've already started the process. I'M going to show you exactly how i get my hair slick and sleek. So first you want to start off with small parts. It doesn't have to be super tiny, but not big, because if they're big, it's going to make it harder for you to be able to smooth out your hair and make it as sleek as possible. So you definitely want to make sure they're small ish. It doesn't have to be, like i said, super small, but just smallish so right here i am parting, the middle section of my hair. So now i have my part: i'm going to take the meow hawaiian ginger hair butter. It'S like a moisturizing hair butter and you want to make sure you get it root to tip but kind of mainly on the ends of your hair, just so that it won't be dry, so i am distributing it throughout my hair. I'M going to take a sturdy comb, it's not a wide tube, it is kind of small, but i just like to have this type of comb, because it ensures that everything is smooth. Like i said that is, the key to this style is to make sure that your hair is smooth and detangled through on each strand. That'S how you get it super sleek. So that's what i'm doing right now. I'M then going to go in with echo style gel and i use a good amount of eco style gel when i say good, like globs like i will go through that whole container doing this hairstyle twice, so you want to take a good amount and just rake It through your hair, from root to tip just make sure that it's kind of saturated you want your hair to be super saturated with this gel. That'S how you make your hair more manageable and, like i said you want it to be sleek and slick, so you got ta got ta got ta go heavy with the gel, so i am making sure that i comb that, through with the same comb and look It'S already like falling into place, it is super smooth and super slick. All of the gel is through. I then go ahead and add that section to the ponytail that i've already made below it. So you basically are just taking small sections putting gel through it, combing it through and then adding it to the ponytail, and you want to keep your hair in that ponytail. To kind of mold the style that you want so, as you can see, i am taking the ponytail out and including that part in it and look. It is a super sleek super slick back, look at my waves on swim and yeah. That'S just basically how you do it and i'm going to repeat the process on my entire head. So now i am taking some water in a spray bottle, because my hair was getting dry and you don't want to do this on dry hair, but it doesn't have to be super wet either just kind of damp. It just seems to work better for me that way so, like i said, i am going to repeat the process i'll, let you see how i do it again and then yeah that is basically how to get a super sleek slick back low, bun or ponytail on Natural 4bca, whatever type hair - and here we have the finished product, look at it. Look how sleek and slick my hair is. I cannot believe that all of that curls and coils is slipped back into this low ponytail. So i went ahead and added some baby hairs and you want to take like a silk or kind of like i don't know if that's spandex or whatever type of material but like some type of or even like a wrap strip. You just want to take something to kind of mold that style into place and what i normally do is sit under a hooded dryer for about an hour just to kind of dry, my hair and mold it. But for the sake of this video i did not do that, so i'm just wrapping it up for a few minutes and since my hair is not long, i cannot do a braid while i could, but since it's like super wet and curly, i just go ahead And put two rubber bands on my ponytail to kind of give it like a braid or twist effect, because you're going to need that for your ponytail. So, like i said, i just added two rubber bands to my ponytail and now the star of the show. It is the wraparound ponytail that i was talking about earlier from studio techlow. It is an exotic curly and it is 20 inches, and there was my husband giving me a little smooch. He was about to leave so yeah. It comes with like a comb, and you want to stick that comb right above your ponytail. So stick it right on through and then you want to take that long piece that was off to the side and basically like wrap it around. So you want to make sure that the entire ponytail is wrapped around your ponytail and then go ahead and wrap and just keep on wrapping and girls. This thing does not move, it doesn't go anywhere, it's definitely a game changer. I don't know where i've been without like this ponytail the bundle thing and the glue thing, and all of that is cool, but this is just super super easy and look there. You have it, and that was a less than five minutes. It'S like definitely a game. Changer something that i highly recommend and, like i said this is not sponsored but yeah there you go
