What'S up guys welcome back to my channel welcome back to another video if you're new here welcome, my name is tsunami amico, so today's video is going to be a hair tutorial and I'm going to show you guys how I get my naturally curly like flow ponytail Using weave so I have been on the hunt for different protective styles for my natural hair, because I just feel like my natural hair needed a break. I was straightening it too much and ever since I have found this technique in this style, I have been doing it non-stop. I haven't shaved my hair for the past 3 weeks, so I'm really really proud of myself and giving it a major break, and I love this style. I think it's really really cute and it's fun. It'S super easy to do, which I'll show you guys in a few, and it is so affordable. This hair that I'm using is only at $ 9.99. So I will let you know all the info and I'll also have everything to use linked down below so always make sure to check out the description box. So do you want to see what hair I'm using? What technique I used to get this seamless natural, faux ponytail then just keep on watching, ok guys, so my hair is fresh out the shower all I have in. It is a little bit of leave-in conditioner to get my hair hydrated. Now. What I would do is I'm gon na prep my hair, to get it into a high ponytail. You can do this ponytail, however, you like, if you're into a slicked-back ponytail. You can definitely do that today, I'm not going to be doing a slicked-back ponytail, because I'm kind of going for that, like messy effortless, look and another thing is. I don't really like how I look with the slicked-back ponytail. I feel like my head or my face, looks a little bit funky, but do as you please. So what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na take this eco styler gel. This is the one with olive oil and I'm just gon na run a little bit of this gel through my hair first and then get into a bun shell. So now that I have my ponytail kind of formed, I'm going to go in with some edge control and I'm just going to be using this edge, booster edge control and I'm just going to take this little brush all right. So now that I have my hair in this little ponytail, I'm just going to braid it now that we have a little braid and ponytail we're gon na go in with the hair. So the hair that I like to use is super cheap. It'S by the brand shake-and-go or the company shake and go, and it's called the organic or organic organic master mix, and I have my in French wave. I will try and a link it down below. I picked this up from a local Beauty Supply, but I did see it on the shake and go websites. You could at least see what I'm talking about and then I'll also try to insert a close-up of the style that I have and it's basically just one bundle, but this master mix is really really good because it looks just like human hair, but it's not. It was so cheap, it was only $ 9.99. I love this particular brand, so I'm gon na tell you a little bit more about it because it looks so real like real human hair, but basically it's a master mix. So this hair product has been created by master mixing, some of the most recently invented fibers. These fibers feature smooth and tangle free treats, as well as enhanced resilient curl holding advantages. This optimum combination makes the curls last longer. Master mix is only available to shake-and-go products and it is just really good. It'S thick and voluminous such good quality, it's so soft and luscious. I'M telling you guys it's like human hairs and it's so cheap, it's only $ 9.99. So again I have mine in the shade a 1b. I also want to mention that this is curling iron safe and you can use up to 400 degrees, which is pretty crazy. So I already have mine opened up that I've been using for the past week now see how nice and shiny it is it's just so pretty this hair is so good. Basically, this is one bundle I had to cut my. I ended up doing that because it's just a little bit easier. If it's such a super super long left, it seems a little bit harder to work with for me. So let me just get into the method that I use and then I'll tell you where I cut it. So the first thing I do is I just take the end of the braid and I'm gon na. Take the end of this weft and I'm gon na wrap it around the bottom base of it, where I have my rubber band like right above the rubber band, so where it's like, like I'm about to twist it around so to hold itself in place. I take one of these open bobby pins and I put it through the weft and then through the braid, so it stays in place now. What I'm going to do is I'm gon na start wrapping the weft around the braid and make sure it is kind of tight and taut as you're wrapping, and then I also make sure the weft is flat around the braid yeah. As I go, I'm going to take another bobby pin to kind of secure the weft into the braid and then keep twisting now once I get to the base of the ponytail, I'm just going to start wrapping it around the ponytail base, and this is optional. You don't have to bobby, pin it, but I like to secure it with an open, bobby pin just to make sure it's not going anywhere. So now you can see I'm at the end of the left. So I'm just gon na take this little piece of hair and I'm going to continue to just twist this piece around the base of the ponytail. Oh my gosh - I almost forgot to mention so if you are doing this for the first time, obviously your weft is going to be all connected. Once I get to the base right here, I will cut that piece of the weft off and then I'm left with the remainder of the hair. So it's just easier to work with. Personally, if you want, you can still continue to continue wrapping around and around it's just a lot of hair. So I like to cut it and then start over again. So now I'm gon na take the remainder of the left and I'm going to take the end piece right here and I'm gon na use this to wrap around the base of the ponytail again, just like we did, and now I'm just going to continue to wrap This left around the base and then again once I get to the end of the weft, taking this hair and wrapping it around okay. So now we have our ponytail, so I'm just going to flip it like that now. What I like to do is I like to take a piece of hair from the back of the ponytail, make a strand just like this, and I'm going to wrap it around the base to kind of cover it. This way we're ensuring that like no weft is showing at all, and then there is the ponytail. So now what I like to do is I like to just bobby pin at the back of my hair, because I have shorter a linked hair, so it does tend to fall down and then I'll be pin the sides alright guys. So there you have it. This is the finished look. This is the full ponytail, it's kind of stand up a little bit. You can see that it is super long. I think it's just so cute and I love how this turns out so hopefully guys were able to follow along, but it's super easy to do once you get the hang of it and I just love it. I'Ve been just obsessed with this look. I haven't been able to straighten my hair, because this is so easy and effortless and I'm definitely protecting my natural hair. So I've been all about the protective styles. I also want to put like a little disclaimer out there that again, this is in no way shape or form my technique that I created, I watched tons of YouTube videos, and this is just one technique that I picked up on and that I perfected and that I felt it was super easy and the most seamless and the most natural just because your natural hair is hidden just by wrapping it around and I loved it. So I hope you guys found this tutorial helpful if you're interested in seeing more hair, tutorials or hair videos, I can definitely film more and kind of just show you guys my natural protective styles that I've been trying out lately. Like I mentioned, I'm enjoying this ponytail a ton. I also have different styles of hair, so I have like a straight hair in the same brand. I also have like a breezy wave, which is like a little bit more wavy and crimped. So I've been trying out different styles. I'Ve also did big, like messy buns. If you want to see the straight hair technique, I could definitely film that as well. So if you're interested in that, let me know in the comments below like this video and if you try out this technique, let me know in the comments below. If you have any questions, I could definitely answer them for you, but hopefully it was pretty self explanatory and you were able to see how I got this look, but it's super easy once you get the hang of it. I think the first time it was a little bit difficult, but once you start doing it, you're gon na have the technique down, and it's just so so easy and quick. It literally takes me about five minutes every day and I'm good to go. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video and you found this tutorial helpful. If you did, please give me a thumbs up also, if you're new to my channel, don't forget to subscribe before you go. Thank you guys. So much for watching I'll see you guys in my next video bye
