How To Get A Sleek High Ponytail On Natural Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel for today's video, I'm going to show you guys how to slay this ponytail get into it, because it's a look. Okay, so, first of all, my braids are a month old, but don't even don't even come at me. I'Ve had them in for a month, but I have been washing my hair cuz, I'm not dirty okay, I bet so I'm just going to pull it out and guys. I'M gon na go really fast through this, because we're focusing on the ponytail right. So this is me, I'm pulling on my braids and guys, like this process, didn't take that long, because I don't have that much hair but anyways. This is how my hair looks after it's been taken out of the braids. It'S a mess, but I know you guys might want to see this, so I'm just showing you guys - and you know I haven't seen her in a month so like we're, bonding we're getting to know each other again. You know whatever length check. Oh you, you, you! Looking good, okay, look I'm at all excited alright! Next, so I'm a detangle, my hair cuz. I can't get in the shower like that, and now I mean I already washed my hair. So it shrunk a lot. You know natural hair problems. I we beef, sometimes and then we're good, so I'm gon na blow blow dry, my hair, because if you don't blow dry, your hair, you cannot do this I'll, just exit the room, because I know everybody talking about heat damage. This, like you, can't do this style. It'S not for you, so you're gon na have to straighten your hair, but you don't want to do it like to bone straight cuz like you, don't really need to just straighten it where it's like. It looks straight enough to use so my hair has a lot of oil in it, so it looks like really way down, but that's fine because it doesn't matter with this style right. So I'm just gon na comb, my hair into a pony pony tail position. So like, if you want it like at the tip top of your head by your eyebrows by your edges anywhere, you need your pony tail to be just put it in the position. Then I'm gon na use some let's jam. The reason why I'm not using like got to be glue or like gorillas now, whatever its cause, they're water-based, you can't use like a gel. That'S water-based. Your hair is gon na curl up again and then it defeats everything you got. Ta use a gel. That is like gel base, like not water-based. It'S like a thicker consistency. Like I mean you guys understand what I'm saying Arpit, we good all right. So then, I'm gon na use a hard brush to brush my hair, get it straight laying down! You all know the deal this edge control guys get into it as by even oh, my god. It'S so good guys, guys guys! Okay, so all you have to do is take a little bit and put it over it and look guys. My hair looks like straight because of that, like the let's jam, I didn't show this on camera, but my hair was kind of curling up. That'S why it looks like all weaving in the front because the less Jam like I don't know for some reason it was curling up, but the even just snatched it right back. It was like where you go in the meat. Oh, let me holla at you. You know so, then I put the hair tie in. I got it into the position I wanted and then first step completed, you know, get it all smooth you're good, I'm putting a little bit more of that on that edge control, because I want my hair to be straight and Mike. The fun part is playing your baby hairs and I'm using that same edge control and look guys mind you. I slept with my edges like this and the next day they were good at the end of the video you'll, see how my edges with the next day and trust me. It was the same edge lage from that night. I kid you not, but anyways just lay your baby here is because you have to do your baby hairs before you do the ponytail, so you can put a scarf on just to like lay it down a little bit more and that's what I'm doing right now. Tying that scarf up, okay, alright, after you guys put the scarf on you, want to braid the end of your hair. This is crucial. Do not lace! Your ponytail hang anyways. If your hair is too short for this guy's can add braiding hair to your hair. Just to make it like a little bit more longer, in course, and then I'm putting a rubberband at the end because boy, it has a mind of its own. Oh, my god, muchas all right guys, the bundles I'm using for this video is from A to Z way and guys. I did you do like a wig review, ops from this brand and their bundles or everything guys. Let can we just talk about it really quickly. First of all, this is very affordable right now, I'm leaving the link down below. I got three bundles 16, 14 and a 12 for like less than $ 45. I kid you not so guys get into it. The link is in the description anyways of topic, I'm just gon na, be sewing in the bundles into my braids. Yes, you guys might be like what isn't that like damaging? Oh, my god is my hair gon na break? No, it's not it's just like getting us. So in but it's on a braid, so as you guys so you wrap so you're wrapping the hair up upwards, going up to the tip top of the braid, but then every step you want to like stitch it into the braid, so it doesn't slide off. I know you guys understand what I'm saying: cuz you're all intelligent okay, so we can move on. You guys could just watch what I'm doing. Okay, so an hour later, JK take your ticket. It'S been like 20 minutes, I'm getting closer to the top and of course my braid is getting thicker. So it is getting a little bit harder to sew it in, but guys just continue stitch it like 12 times. If you need to because you don't want to go out in public and then your hair is falling out, telling all your secrets now, so you got to make sure that it's on there properly and guys this is a long process, so make sure you focus. So you can get it right, because, let me tell you the end result is worth it: okay, all right! Finally, we got to the top, and this is easier than sewing Gus. All you have to do is when you get to the top just wrap it until you get that desired. Like wrapped look, okay, I don't know what I'm saying, but once you're done sewing, you just need to wrap it and then, like the best part, the part that gets a drama is when you wrap it at the roots, to give it that height, that, oh guys, That that speaks volumes, that's like the drama portion. So that's what you really want to master and it was really difficult for me. I can't lie it took me an hour to like do it. I kept like redoing it because I was really picky, but I did go to bed, not caring and then the next morning I cared a little bit more, so it just takes a little bit of finessing and trials and guys like because this is a body wave. Brazilian bundle, I definitely did curl it the next day, so you guys can do that if you're not satisfied with the look right now, okay guys, so I'm basically done with my fake ponytail hairstyle. Do y'all hear how tired I sound guys that sound weak, like I lost the battle between me and the ponytail guys do this when you have strength and energy because Shh this took a while, I'm not in the lining y'all, it's not as like. It'S not like super curly and it's not as like full. I mean it's thick, but it's not like as full as you know that big hair, but tomorrow I'm gon na, like curl it up individually and see how it looks like that and but for right now, like I think it looks cute nah. I was definitely tired. Everything flash it back and forth okay, so I'm gon na like wrap my hair down hi guys. So this is on my hair looks today I had to put the ponytail part up into like a bun only because I um my sister is Juan Carla. It'S like locked in her room but like for right now, and this is how it's looking the hair, just like really soft and it's like still holding up like it, feels great so, and this is like two bundles guys Wow. So this is how it's looking and I'll try to update you guys when I do curl the hair, hey guys. So I just finished my hair kind of curled it up a little bit more and I put like a gold band on it. So dang the Sun is hitting today but anyways guys so South's licking, hey, I mean it's. My first try and I didn't do like the glue method, so I think it looks pretty cute so guys.
