Hey guys is Raven Alexis D here. Welcome back to my channel today, I'm gon na be doing my hair for a change. I actually always wanted to do like a extended pony toe. I'Ve always wanted to try the pony tail like a low ponytail and because my hair is pressed well. I got ta press like a week ago, but, as you can see it's you know starting the frizz up and go away on me, but while I still have it in the state, I want to take advantage and do some sleep styles. So I'm going to be using these wefts of kinky straight hair. I got this from wild African and I'm gon na put the name title of it somewhere on the screen, because it's really long. It'S like Italian yaki, straight kinky Street. You know when the title got like a name to describe where this stuff come from crazy, that's what I'm gon na be using, because if you know matches my hair texture a lot better than like just some straight bundles that, like once my hair, starts getting frizzy Or so after like a day or two, I don't want to start. You know I start looking crazy, so I rather use like this texture. So, let's into this video, okay guys so to start off, I used my auntie's hot comb plugin, and I used this healing oilless African healing oil that I got from Sephora. I love this oil. It has like soybean oil, sunflower, a hobo almond oil. Just a lot of good like nurturing is vitamin E stuff that you want for your hair and I'm just putting that on my edges and, like my ends, breaking it and really good to make sure I have some moisture in my hair before this heat, so I'm Taking my time and I'm just going up against my edges, I'm only tapping it like a little bit. I'M not trying to run through, like all of my hair aunt heat already pressed, I'm just touching up my edges to make sure they're, nice and smooth for this sleek style and do not forget that big feet go okay. So now I'm just partying on that side! Part and I'm getting it like really perfect and as crisp as I can, so that it is yeah like a really clean part. For this and on the side, I just I parted from the middle protection down all the way to my ear so that I can have like a front area that I'm going to work with for that swoop, and I'm gon na cut that out of the way For now, okay, so I gather up some bobby pins. This is what I could find and I have my old-time Marie's grease. It'S like a pommy actually, and so I just put some of my fingertips and I pretty much just worked it in, like everywhere. In my hair, mainly like at my scalp too, I put it in, like I just rubbed it kind of like moisturizing, not moisturizing, my scalp, but kind of just like massaging my scalp with it on my fingertips, because that's gon na get my hair like very, like Pasty so that once I got ta brush it it'll all just like more in a direction that I needed to be without any problems, and now that the back is brushed down with that Murray's I went behind that with some got to be glue, free spray, and I sprayed that into the entire back section of my hair and I used a harder, more bristled brush, because the objective is to not want to use like Joe's and stuff like that's. Gon na revert our hair, so I'm gon na be gone like a lot of smoothing, and I just kept working that into my hair and the free spray will also like prevent like flyaways any frizz, and things like that and now that I'm finished with that. Back section, I can go ahead and put that in a ponytail. While I work on smoothing my front, so I went ahead and took that clip down, and I pretty much just repeated the same exact steps that I did to the back section of my hair. I parted through maybe about like five parts, and I placed the Murrays at my scalp. I rub that in and I used a comb to like smooth it down like really hard to pretty much get my roots to like place and mole in that section. Without moving pretty much, this pommy is just going to like stiffen your hair, which is okay, because we're not trying to wear out like flowing or anything we wanted to be like smooth and to stay exactly where we're putting it in this pony toe okay. So I just pretty much like took the hair and like slowly just like placed it right on the side of my sideburns and like that, you know side back section of my head and I'm just like smoothing getting it exactly where I wanted to be, and to Lay against the ponytail and right in his backside, I'm holding it and I'm gon na take down my ponytail so that I can put all the hair together now that we have that front like in the right direction, and usually I just like to like put like A little pin right there, like with that swoop side, because my hair does reach, but it's like a little short from like the layers in my hair, so just to be safe. I put a pin and just like double, pin it for like a little style or whatever, okay, so I'm putting that hair and a braid, and I also put like a little bit of oil like on my fingertips so that, like from the rubberband, it doesn't pull The ends of my hair is a little tip trick and now for the hair. So I put the a bobby pin right at the end piece of that weft close enough to where, of course, it wouldn't like fall off, and I just pushed it down at the bottom part of my braid, and I kept it like really tight around the top Piece of my braid and I'm just like wrapping it around really taut and maybe about like every. I want to say, like three or four wrap around I place like another bobby pin down into the weft and debris at the same time, and I did actually start feeling like it was. The hair was like a little too thick because it was already kinky straight. So I didn't really need to double weft it. So after, like the first piece or two, I kind of realized that then I started single Westing, so just be mindful of that, for how like thick or thin, you want your ponytail to be, and so I'm just clipping that bobby pin right on the end of That weft to secure it down and I'm ready for my next piece and I'm just gon na place it right where I left off with the last bobby, pin and place it right down. As you can see, this is pretty secure as long as you place it inside of your braid, you shouldn't have any issues with like slipping tracks or anything like that. I wear this style for about a week before I took it down and I didn't have any issues with like falling track pieces. Nothing like that and I just keep putting those bobby pins right in between the left and the braids, and it is good and secure. So now that I'm on my last track pieces is single wefted, as I said before, so I'm just placing it down into my braid again and i'ma just keep wrapping it around nice and tight until I'm all the way at the base of my ponytail holder, and I take my last bobby pins for the weft and I just you know poke that down. Make sure that I have it good and secure, and I'm just checking it out here and making sure that it's secure on my head and that's it for that part and I'll just make sure that I get some hair from underneath of the web so that you Can'T see it and I'm wrapping it around the base of the ponytail and the wefts, and I'm just going to place that pin that me into a place as well and that's pretty much it for the ponytail portion. And I'm just checking myself out here, see how I like it. What you guys do. I was definitely for the myself. I have never done like a sleek style or anything like that before I was happy. I took it on the first time, so I went a hit off camera and I just did some baby hairs and swooped my eyes just a little bit and I put on a scarf to like mold down my hair for a few minutes. While I just pressed on my ponytail a little bit more just to give me some more flow and sleekness you and his hair presses like really well, is so pretty, and it's like a lot of body and flow to it, and I don't even think I had My heat on the highest degrees - I probably had it on about like 4:20, so it's been at least 10 minutes and I could take my scarf down out and yes, nice and sleek flat. My head good is smooth. This is what I was going for and it came out pretty good. I was very pleased with my results and here is the back. Yes, I know I could have liked that my vampire teeth shaved off y'all, but look I wasn't like I didn't almost wan na - be doing a video okay. So don't cover me y'all, you know, don't cover me and so here's a back view like I said it's. 20 inches, so it's really long. It touches like the top toe bone of before I'm at bûche. So I really like the loo and, as you can see, the hair is flowing, it's not stiff at all because of the pins. It still has body - and you know this came out really good, so hope you guys enjoyed my little hair tutorial of my deep side - part extended ponytail. I hope you gained like a tip or two from my technique, and let me know down in the comment section what you think and I'll see you guys in my next video and don't forget to subscribe to my channel.
