Like I said I was messing around trying to create some new hairstyles recently and this is what I came up with! It's a smaller variation of a slip know braid which I have a tutorial for you guys to learn how to do here:

Slip Knot Braid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aa6NMa...

You can do this hairstyle on wet or dry hair and I strongly recommend using a heat protectent if you decide to curl the ends. Brush hair thoroughly to remove knots and to curl your hair I recommend using a Remington curling wand, babyliss hot rollers for soft and natural curls or use a GHD for ribbon curls.

Use durable bobby pins, for a securer grip criss cross the bobby pins. When finishing with hairspray use Elnett for quality hold.

Hey guys, so this is a tutorial for a slip. Knot technique a much smaller version of it for a sort of braided headband that wrapped around into a loopy ponytail. So this was messing around the other day on my mannequin and so wrong. I was messing around doing a hairstyle, and this is what I came up with, so I really hope you guys enjoyed. It is perfect for back to school college work. This technique can be incorporated into a bridle or a bridesmaid hairstyle, and I will show following tutorials on the upper for the moment. This is the back to school hairstyle, so I hope you enjoy so for this hairstyle. I use a rattail comb or a fine-tooth comb and I have divided the hair all the way from the right, eyebrow all the way going back to the nape of the neck. When you reach the back of the nape of the neck, it should be about here. You want to take the bottom layer of hair and you want to take it, maybe halfway across the nape of the neck. So once you have the following hair taken out of the way you want to the bottom section of hair, maybe halfway over and incorporate in, because this other part is going to be the part that loops around the ponytail. So this is how you start. You want to take a very small section of hair at the front. You want to split it into two, and the section in the right hand is going to go under and that is going to be the section you pull through and pull to the left. Then you want to take diagonal sections of hair coming across like this, you want to do the exact same thing that is going to be the strands that you pulled under both height and pull to the left hand side. That is the only technique for this hairstyle. Keep repeating it the whole way through keep the Strongs as tight as possible, and if you can't section off the hair into 10 straddle with your fingers, feel free to use a rat tail comb that works perfectly as well. So you want to sort of tilt the hair. I'M pull it very extreme, extremely gently over to the left sort of angle so that it covers the front section of hair here so keep adding in very small strands and add it to the left section of hair you're, always adding in New right strands that ultimately Become a section of the left strand pull through and keep sighs I'm basically, you want to repeat this process all the way along and it is not long at all. It is just tedious, but once you got the hang of it, you'll speed up really well. So I'm about three-quarters of the way down and you'll notice that the braid tikkun Dave, as you add in more hair, so keep the strands Ruth in the right train goes over. You pull it through. You might notice that, as you tighten it there, this drone could hop up a few loops. That'S why you just want to sort of i'm going to downwards. Keep it loose until you're in the right position underneath the notches, and then you add an end to make sure that it doesn't slip or slide all over the place so keep on repeating this process. You reach this sort of area. You'Ll realize that you can't pull the braid back. You have to keep it at an angle, pulling it away from the face. So let you have this sort of loose area down here. He found adding them in and you could do this with wet hair as well. I might look really nice and when you take your hair and the road, I'm sure you left with some degree of a curl or away now you want to start adding in this bottom section there of her that I told you guys to leave age. This is going to be for the ponytail part that is wrapped around so same process. Just keep on doing the exact same until you finish, using on adding in all of the sections of hair. So once you've finished, you want to pinch the ends really well to make sure that none of the sort of braids of hair slip out - and you want to extremely gently sort of loosen the braid especially focus on this area, because this is going to be the One that sort of wrapped around the ponytail and it'd be nice. If you kind of got these certain little loops and very well-defined you some hair spray, wax gel whatever you want. If you want to add some further texture, you want to take the section of hair that has not been included into the braid and you want to pull it over so that it covers the diagonal mark that was made at the start of this hair stuff. So you could definitely use some teething for this. You could use some hairspray, but ultimately you just want to get all the hair into one sort of section like this. If you have five ways or short layers, you will need you ther spray, but both of me, you take the end that you pinched and you just want to carefully wrap it around, and at this point you will have just split the ponytail in two tightness that Are likely will push the bobbin up underneath the loops and there it is hidden. So then you can go and further readjust. If you short layers, you will probably find that they will slip out a little bit from here. So this is where you want to kind of put your hairspray in this general direction, to hide the original division points and then you're, adding your bobby pins, where you need them. So for me, if these sort of little areas here grab some hair with a bobby, pin push it down to those hidden at the base of the ponytail. If you really wanted to give this look another dimension, if you have a really long ponytail, you could really gently sort of curl the ends, and that would give this look another dimension or you could use this hairstyle or, like I said, a wedding bridesmaid or a Formal occasion where curl the ends give it a softer Montek
