You want to see how I got this really sleek jumbo braid hairstyle on my very short natural hair. Just keep on watching Roja girl out of the land clothes only big bags boy, okay, guys. So I am now growing my hair out from my big top. So I've just been trying to try different protective styles, so I want to try this one out. This is my first time ever trying this. This is why it's not a tutorial. Basically, I'm just showing you guys what I did. I will probably do it tutorial once. I get really good at it and learn different techniques guys. I literally did not know how this is going to turn out. I literally was just trying it and I'm gon na take my eco styler gel and, as you guys can see, I section my hair into two and my daughter was in the bathroom. So if I'm like, moving and like picking her up and stuff and moving her, that's why so I'm just putting that all in the back portion and I'm going to sleek that down back into a ponytail and I'm gon na secure it with a rubber band. You guys it really wasn't as hard as I thought it was gon na be because my hair has grown a little bit like a very little bit cuz, as you guys can see yeah. My hair is really still so short, but you know it worked. I didn't know I was gon na be at a finished this ponytail, but guess what your grody she didn't period and I was going back and forth with the brush and the comb just trying to make sure that I could get the pony to as sleek as Possible because I do have very kinky hair. I believe I have like four B here, close to four C in my opinion, but I am just trying to get that as sleek as possible and I will say when you are using a brush for this hairstyle, make sure you use a hard bristle brush. I know my neck was red, but if you want your hair to be sleek, you got ta, take some risk and I'm gon na go in here and just blow-dry back in place before I start laying down the rest of my hair. Now my hair, like I said, is really kinky, so I couldn't get like the waves out. Obviously you can still see the waves on my actual natural ponytail but whatever, and I definitely wanted to do a side part. I see people do metal parts on their sleep. Ponytail but I just my hand, shape and everything I just don't think it would work for me. I didn't want to try the middle part, but then I was like nah. I'M not even go ris key, but I like my parts to be curved, so I always make sure I curbed my part out until like a half circle, and then I did just want to just lay down my hair again with that eco styler gel trying to Get everything as flat as possible, and I did the top in sections just because my hair is thicker. I definitely will get better at this as we go cuz. This was not perfect to me at all. I did a pretty good job for my first time trying and it only took me like 20 minutes, but you know we're gon na get better we're gon na get better so to try to make sure our secure my sleek ponytail as much as possible. I spray some got to be free spray and then I just blow-dried that down and the hair I'm going to be using. I actually got from Amazon. It is six packs for I think twenty dollars. I will link it in the description box down below. I know it was really really affordable because you guys know beauty. Supply store. Hair is really high honestly, but I got six packs and I think it was like twenty dollars, if not less I'll, link in the description box, and I obviously got this like honey brown, honey, blonde, color cuz, that's the color of my hair and I'm gon na Go ahead and basically just tie, you guys can see what I'm doing, hopefully, basically, I'm just like. I don't know how to explain it, I'm tying it in knotting it, and this is like a DIY drawstring ponytail, and I am going to turn that upside down. On my head and I'm going to wrap that ponytail holder as many times as possible around my little ponytail, so that this braid does not fall off because we already know how embarrassing that would be. And I did only use one pack of that hair for this style, so I'm just gon na braid this down and not gon na braid. It tight because I do want the braid to look pretty thick in the end. I just left out the ponytail a little bit or fluffed out the braids a little bit just so that everything kind of looks more. Even and then I took a little piece of hair from one of the other bundles and just wrap it around. The top of the ponytail in the end, I just went ahead and used the blow dryer on my ponytail again just to try to make sure everything looked like it was coming right out of the braid. This was kind of hard just because it was my first time doing it and my hair is really short, but I made it work. I made it work and I'm going to go ahead and just tie my hair down and it was tight for probably about 15 minutes. While I put on my makeup, let me tell y'all when I took this scarf off your girl was shook like I was like what I did that, but I'm gon na here and just lay down my sideburns really quick and yeah. From experience I think next time you should either use got2b wit the freeze spray or edge control and the freeze spray.. eco has to much of a water base and it will always have that wave effect.. if U want sleek and straight got2b or edge control is the way to go babes trust me! ❤️

It’s so much easier to use edge control or got to be glued for slick ponytails. Blends better too. And if I want a natural or textured ponytail, I’ll use the free tree water wave hair for the braid.
