Easy Messy Textured Ponytail

I’m always looking for new and creative ways to style day old curls. I don’t have time to do a full head of curls or waves every single day, so on my off days I like to experiment with different styles. For this Style Spotting video with Garnier, I’m doing my take on a messy textured pony.

Hi guys, it's Mariana welcome back to my youtube channel. I'M so excited to share this hair tutorial with you guys today, because this is a textured really easy to do like voluminous ponytail. So this is another video for my style spotting series with Garnier, and I really like this look because not only have I seen it on the runway on the red carpet, but I saw all my friends all over Instagram and also on Pinterest, and I really love This hair look and for me it's something that I personally wear on second day like dirty hair. So I like to use these Garnier products to really give my roots here, some volume and also with the ponytail, because it gives it like a little bit of texture. So that the ends look really voluminous and I like how really easy that this hair look is to complete I'm trying to get like my whole head into this video. So you guys can see it. But I really like this look. So if you want to learn how to get this textured voluminous ponytail keep watching I'll, be starting out with Garnier root amp, and this is a spray mousse and I'll start. By putting this at the root of my hair and I'm just going to lightly spray, it took a really light spray, mousse and you'll see just by working it through the roots of my hair. Before and after how voluminous it makes my hair so that it gives the textured Pony a great base, so now you can see how voluminous this product made my hair, it's nice and big, to be ready for my ponytail I'll, be using Garnier x' texture, tease next I'Ll be spraying this all through the ends of my hair, to give it a lot of texture and to make it really PC so that when I put it up in the ponytail it just doesn't let lay like limp and flat. Now we'll start putting up your ponytail, I'm going to put this just above the top of my ear. You can place this wherever you want it's just where I like, for it to sit and I'm using a thin ponytail, not a thick one. I'M wrapping the band around my hair three times, but not too tight, because I want the front pieces to be loose enough to pull out, so it looks really natural and relaxed and not like a sleek ponytail. So once I have all these little pieces pulled out that I want to sit in front of my face. I'M going to take the texture, tease and just spray it through the end of my ponytail again. Just give it a little boost volume from the underside of the ponytail, take a small piece of hair and start wrapping it around the hairband just to hide it. You don't have to do this, but I think it gives the ponytail and overall sleeker more put-together. Look even though it is textured and lived in and then you'll just secure it with a bobby pin once you feel like all your hairs are in place and you've got the hair wrapped around the hairband. You can take Garnier, sleek and shine hair spray and spray. Your hair in place just to make sure those little pieces aren't going to be falling in front of your face all day, and here you have the completed. Look I like this on second day hair, but of course you can use this on clean hair too, and it's really easy to do and looks well put together, modern bouncy and it's so so cute alrighty guys. So that is how you get this voluminous textured teased. Ponytail, I hope you like this hair tutorial.
