Hey guys so for today's video i have some fun holiday hairstyles that we're going to try out so let's go ahead and get started so for the first hairstyle. You just want to tie your hair half up half down now we're going to do a topsy tail, create a hole above your ponytail and pull your hair all the way through and then just tighten it. So now we're just gon na split our ponytail into two and then just do two sections of hair tie them both with hair ties and yeah. This should look familiar because this is exactly what we did the other day, except now we're doing braids. So we're just going to take each section of hair and do a regular three strand braid once you're down at the bottom tie it off with a clear elastic and then you do want to pancake it a little bit to make it nice and full. So just pinch and pull on your braids all the way up and all the way down and then do the same exact thing with your hair on the other side and then once you do that, then we get to the fun stuff. So you're going to take your fingers put them underneath the left side of your topsy tail then take the right, braid and pull it through the left topsy tail then you're going to put your fingers underneath the right topsy tail, take your left, braid and then pull That, through and repeat so put your fingers under your left topsy tail, pull the right braid through then stick your fingers under your right. Topsy tail pull your left braid through then, with your ends. Hanging out, you can just take those and then gather them, underneath the bun push them up under the bun and bobby pin them or you can tie them and bobby, pin them up to you. Then i'm just pinching and pulling the top of my hair for some texture, and now i'm just going throughout and just kind of pinching and pulling a little bit to fill some of the gaps. If there are any and adding bobby pins. Just to make sure it's nice and secure, but this is what it ends up. Looking like: here's, the right side, here's the left side - and i think this is just an adorable holiday updo. Now, for a ponytail, hairstyle put your hair half up with a hair tie and then we're just going to pull on the sides a little bit now with the hair. Underneath your half up ponytail, you just want to divide them into two and then bring them up over the ponytail, crisscross them and then take them underneath the ponytail and then you're just going to tie it off with the clear elastic, and that is literally it look. How easy you can pinch and pull around the top if you want for some texture and some volume, and that is it, that's all there is to this hairstyle you could dress it up. Add a headband. Add a cute little bow in the back. Add a little. I don't know barrette or something but yeah, that's it. I love this one so now for an updo, i'm just going to take a section of hair from the front and we're just going to do a bun so grab your hair, pull it through once twice on the third time, just pull it through a little bit To create a bun with the ends twist them wrap them around the base of that bun and then just tuck the ends into the hair tie. So then, i'm just going to tug on the bun, give it a little twist and then bobby. Pin it into place. Make sure it's nice and secure, then i'm going to take my section on the right and i'm just going to give it a little bit of a twist away from my face a couple times and then just kind of pinch it and then pull it a little Bit and then you're just going to start to kind of wrap it around that bun, so just twisting it wrapping it around twisting it wrapping it around once you get to the end, just tuck them up underneath and bobby pin them with the left section of hair. I'M just going to divide my hair into two equal sections and i'm just twisting those sections around each other just to do a little twist braid and then i'm going to take that twist and just wrap it around the base of the bun. Once i get to the ends, tuck them underneath the bun bobby, pin them into place, then i'm just going to kind of pinch and pull a little bit, and this is what it ends up. Looking like super easy and very cute, next up is a half up. Half down hairstyle so just take a section in the middle of your head. Tie it off with a hair tie now we're doing a topsy tail so create an opening above your ponytail pull your hair through then just give it a nice little tug to tighten it. Then you're gon na flip that ponytail up under that topsy tail. So now i'm grabbing the top of that topsy tail and i'm pushing it up. So it creates a little bit of a bun and i'm just going to stretch out that bun and it's going to be nice and secure. You can add bobby pins if you need to, but now you're just going to take a section of hair on each side. Tie it off with a hair tie and we're just going to do a topsy tail so flip your hair through the hole and now we're going to put our fingers through that topsy tail turn it and it's going to create a hole and we're going to stretch Open that hole like i'm doing here and i'm going to pull it over that bun and then once i pull it over that bun, i'm just going to give it a nice little tug to tighten it and secure it, and that is it. So most of these hairstyles are super quick to do and you can wear them outside of the holidays. So for the last hairstyle, you want to take a section towards the front: leave it out with the rest of your hair, pull it through once pull it through twice on the third time, we're gon na flip our ponytail up and then we're gon na pull that Hair tie over the bottom portion of our ponytail to to create a little bit of a bun. Sorry, i can't talk, then flip your hair back over, so it just kind of fans itself up perfectly over that little bun we just did and you're gon na gather the hair at the bottom after you drape your hair across the bun and just tie it off With a clear elastic, now we're going to take those ends and we're just tucking them up underneath that bun so that they're, nice and hidden and we're just going to bobby pin them. So if you have super long hair, you might want to skip this bun. But if you have hair like mine, it should be manageable, so just bobby, pin it throughout make sure it is nice and secure make sure everything is tucked in then, with the section of hair that we left out in the front. We'Re just going to do a three strand braid, so make sure, though, when you are braiding that you're braiding towards like the back of your head, so that you don't get a bump um, but yeah just braid all the way down. And then you want to make sure that you pancake it. We want it to be nice and full so pinch and pull from the top to the bottom and then you're gon na take that braid and you're gon na drape it across the top of that bun and just drape it all around and then you're just gon Na kind of bring your ends around and then tuck them underneath that bun and then just bobby, pin everything bobby, pin that braid make sure it's nice and secure fluff it out. If you need to - and this is it look how cute this is this one is a lot more formal i'd say compared to the rest of them, but it truly is so beautiful. So that is it. Let me know which one was your favorite in the comments below don't forget to like subscribe, leave, a comment and i'll see you guys my next one bye

Yire Mendiola: Lainey always killing it with the hairstyles. Yesss girl! ❤️

Samantha Chung: The 2nd one is my favorite and I would wear that for work, low pony = no headache at the end of the day, simple but nice. You have a lot of great ideas. The last one looked really good on you. That multicoloured sweater brightens your skin. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Niagara Canada.

Toca Peach: These are extremely gorgeous! Yesterday I found out I can do the messy bun that you posted!!

Kerry Dainton: I just want to say thank you so much for your videos, I've never really been a hairstyling girl tbh (I just leave it wild and free) but having twin daughters with beautiful thick hair I wanted to up my game a bit ... your styles are perfect for them ... my 'tomboy' daughter happens to love flowers despite her interests so we incorporate daisies into her messy pixie buns for school etc, but her sister is a fan of topsy-turvies and braids ... thank you for making our school mornings fun, unexpected, unplanned and allowing my girls to be their unique selves

Kelly Dukepoo: I love them all! I'm going on a trip to PA for Christmas, these hair up do's will be perfect for the holidays! Thank you!

Rebecca Yang: Love love love!! These are so cute and easy to put up, thank you so much!

Sue Stayton: The ponytail and the last bun w/ the braid are my favorites! Happy holidays!!

Mary Schafer: I've been watching your vids since around Thanksgiving and I have to say even though not all work out with my medium hair right now I love trying them out. I've even tried a couple on my mother who hasn't been able to get to the salon to cut her hair lately and keeps putting her hair back out of her face.

Alicia Marin: I did the first hairstyle, but the non-braided version, for my daughter's ballet recital for my hair. I spent so much time doing her ballet bun that I wanted cute hair too. It was easy to do, looked great, and lightened the weight of my hair on my head. Can't wait to try this braided version!

7027CATHY: These are all so cute. I'm thinking either hairstyle one or three at this stage, I would do the last one but I think my hair is too long for the bun, but I love ❤️ the idea. And I love the ponytail one and half up too, I will do those another day, because Christmas usually comes with hot weather in Australia Our snowman is made out of beach sand lol. Do you think the First hairstyle or number three you could add a headband, because I have a fancy one I wanted to keep for Christmas Day. Thanks so much for the tutorial, I love them all, so fun. ❤️

Therése Wallentin: OMG, the first and the last hairstyles are so Pride and Prejudice. Love them. Thanks for sharing

Regiane Carvalho: Originais e maravilhosos! Abraço do

Joanne Shaw: You are my go to channel for hairstyles. My hair is long but I want it longer so I can create more styles you do. My favourite have to be your heatless curls and the overnight braids. When I do either of them and go to work the next day people think I’ve had my hair done

chochooshoe: these are so cool! I love all of them

Lisa Mason: I love your sweater too. These hair styles are genius!!! Thank you!

Molly Evans: Love! Thank you for the help :)

lostinsiberia: Last one was my favourite and definitely one I want to try for work!
