Quick Voluminous Ponytail For Short Hair - Elle Leary Artistry

Hey you guys it's Elle welcome back to my channel. I wanted to do a messy ponytail for you guys that has a little bit of extra volume, but it is super quick and super easy. It'S perfect for second day hair or, if you've, just kind of gone to the beach and your hair has a nice wave to it. But as far as mine, right now, I literally just like in ten minutes, curled it with a flatiron just to give it a loose loose wave okay. So this is what it looks like, and you want to have a little bit of a messy texture to the hair doesn't need to be in perfect curls. It needs to be kind of on the messy side. You can put some texturising spray if you want to. In it, I do have some texturising spray in it, but not very much, and this is second day hair, alright. So what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na kind of run, my fingers through it. I am going to kind of use the volume. That'S naturally, in here from second day hair and we're just going to turn just going to pull this up into a loose ponytail that is literally in the center of the head, not the top, but the center of the head. And you don't want this to be perfect right. You just want to pull this up and you kind of want to have it to be loose. So we're just going to pull this guy like this and I'm using a thick rubber band to give it some sort of texture alright. So then, you want to come to the front and you kind of want to mess with this and just really make sure that this part looks the way you want it to so. I want volume here I kind of want volume here, I'm pulling down a few pieces just a few here. Okay, so now, if you have longer hair, this is going to probably look a little bit different in the back. Since I have a little bit mid length. Shorter hair, but this is perfect for any length hair that you can at least get up into a pony alright. So then, I'm gon na take my second rubber band and I'm going to wrap it around once and then so I'm just gon na put it on. Just like this, and then I'm going to split the ponytail in half and I'll show you one second here see you the ponytail like this. Now I'm going to take the rubber band put the top part over your head and I'm going to put this around the bottom ponytail we've sectioned off okay, so you guys see that right and then you're going to just pop that over and you have a lot More volume in your Pony looks like that. Alright, so literally it's as simple as that, it's so easy, and that little trick just gives you a little bit added extra volume alright. So that is a quick tip for you guys on how to get a volumous or voluminous ponytail that has some kind of easy beachy wave to it.
