Hairstyle #1, The "woven ponytail" (We found the "topsy tail" used for this style online. I have also seen them at Claire's, drug stores, and beauty supply stores.)
Hairstyle #2, The "ponytail knot"
Hairstyle #3, The "triple twist ponytail"
We have received many requests for some quick and easy DIY hairstyles (that can be done on yourself) for school. Each of these ponytails can be completed in less than 5 minutes and are most likely easy enough to do yourself. All 3 of these styles will work for teens and women as well as little girls. "The Princess" will be starting middle school this year and plans on wearing lots of quick "no heat styles" such as these ponytail designs, as she does not want to get up any earlier than she has to but still wants to look cute! We love that these styles are all simple, but something more than just a standard ponytail.

Hey guys today we're going to be doing a couple, quick and easy ponytail ideas, and all of them are going to start with the same partings. So I have grabbed the top of her hair and a little bit here at the bottom and placed it into a ponytail and this hair on the side. That'S basically behind her ear has been left out on both sides for the first idea, I'm going to take each of these sections that have been left out on the side and I'm going to split them in half. Okay, I'm going to start with this section, the top half on the left and I'm going to bring it across and pull the hair through here on top of the elastic you can either use your fingers or a Topsy tail to do this. If you want to use your fingers just poke a little hole and then tuck the hair through I'm going to use a Topsy tail just because it's easier for me, I'm going to do the same thing with this section here on the right, I'm splitting it in Half and I'm going to take the top pass over to the opposite side and pull it through over here now, I'm going to do the same thing with the remaining hair on both sides, I'm going to bring them both across to the opposite side. On top of the ponytail, and I'm going to try to not bring them through the same hole I did before so that it creates more of a woven. Look now that I have all those strands woven through. I have these two pieces of hair that aren't included into the ponytail, so I'm just going to add one more elastic and tie everything together, so you can leave it just like this. If you don't like the elastic showing you can take a piece of hair and wrap it around the top to hide it or you can add a piece of ribbon or a flower, something like that, but that is the first finished ponytail. Okay for ponytail number: two! We'Re starting out with the same partings again I just have a ponytail here in the middle with the sides left out, I'm going to take both of these pieces on the side and I'm going to tie a knot with them. I went ahead and got her hair wet so that we don't have flyaways for this next part and then to tie the knot. I'M doing it the same way. I would as if I was tying a shoe, so I'm crossing one strand over the other and I'm bringing one side up through the loop and then I'm going to pull it kind of tight. You don't need it super tight and now I'm going to take the Strand I have here on the right and I'm crossing it over the Strand on the left and then I'm going to take these pieces and tuck them back through the ponytail holder. You can use a Topsy tail for this if you want to - or you can just use your fingers. But what I'm going to do is just find the elastic and pull it out and then I'm just going to pull the hair right through there and then same thing over here. On this other side, you'll just find the elastic, pull it out a little bit and pull that hair through. So after you have that pulled through the elastic, you can go back and kind of fluff it out a little bit so that it makes a prettier knot. That is the finished ponytail number two okay. For this last idea, you're going to need some tiny rubber bands and the kind we are using our goody ouchless to make this style we're going to split this hair into several sections and then make some tiny ponytails. So I'm starting here at the top and I'm just sectioning off a piece then I'm going to have my daughter hold this for a minute. While I section off the other side, I'm going to grab another piece over here about the same thickness. Okay, now I'm going to take both of those pieces that I sectioned off and twist them up, and I'm just going to take both of those and tie them together in the center with the tiny rubber band. And then I'm just going to repeat that all the way down to the ponytail until I've used up all of this hair - okay - that is the third and final ponytail in this series.
