Gwinnett County school officials are investigating after a paraprofessional allegedly cut a child's hair at a Loganville elementary school. The accused paraprofessional will not be allowed to return to the school.

Classroom AT ROSEBUD, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN GWINNETT COUNTY ARE DEIDRE, DUKES IS LIVE IN GWINNETT TONIGHT FOR US AND THE BOY'S PARENTS ARE DEMANDING ANSWERS. Tonight., THAT'S RIGHT. THE BOY'S MOM CARLA ROYSTON. She IS VERY UPSET. She SAYS. HER SON IS NEVER EVEN HAD HIS HAIR CUT.. She WANTS TO KNOW WHAT THAT EDUCATOR WAS THINKING. READY. According TO HIS MOM HAS FREQUENTLY INTERACTED WITH A WOMAN DURING HIS TIME AT THE SCHOOL WITHOUT INCIDENT. SHE'S BEEN SO SWEET AND NICE.. I DIDN'T. I DID N'T SEE THIS COMING SAYS: HE'S NEVER HAD A HAIRCUT.. She SENT HIM TO SCHOOL WITH HIS HAIR AND TWO LONG BRAIDS TUESDAY MORNING TO REPORT DISTURBING INCIDENT.. She SAYS: JAY'S TEACHER TOLD HER THAT THE PROBE CUT ABOUT THREE INCHES OFF ONE PONYTAIL AND ANOTHER 6 TO 8 INCHES OFF THE OTHER. Before ABRUPTLY TELLING THE LEAD TEACHER.. She HAD TO GO., SHE SAID. Well, WHAT HAPPENED? Are YOU OKAY? She SAID SHE HAD HER HEAD DOWN. AND THEN SHE SAID SHE HAD TO GO.. She GRABBED HER THINGS AND SHE LEFT UNSAID. JAY'S TEACHER LATER DISCOVERED HER SON'S HAIR CLIPPINGS IN THE TRASH. Can THE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL SENT A LETTER HOME TO PARENTS ABOUT THE INCIDENT STATING THAT THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT AND SCHOOL POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING AND THAT THE ACCUSED OF PROFESSIONAL WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RETURN TO OUR SCHOOL., THE ROYSTON CZAR PURSUING CRIMINAL CHARGES, WHETHER IT WAS SOME Type OF MENTAL THING, OR WHATEVER IT WAS, SHE HAD GOING ON IN., DEFINITELY UM. It'S SCARY, WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT THE FACT THAT SHE HAD SCISSORS TO THE BACK OF MY CHILD'S HEAD. WHAT IF SHE HAD AN EPISODE WHERE SHE DID SOMETHING MORE VIOLENT, OR YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN SOMETHING LIKE THAT., SO I JUST FEEL LIKE SHE DOES N'T NEED To BE AROUND CHILDREN IN NEW YORK. ROISIN SAID SHE HAS NOT SPOKEN TO THE PAIR PROFESSIONALS ABOUT THIS INCIDENT SINCE IT HAPPENED.. She DOES PLAN TO SHE'S TOLD ME: KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR IN GWINNETT. When I worked in after school programs a teacher got upset and put red paint on a 6 yr olds pony tail. It's sad that some educators are actually grown adult bullies.

A teacher combed my grandson's hair on picture day. I'd combed his hair the way I wanted it. She then combed his hair the way she wanted it. I believe that this was her only motive. To cut a child's hair then to abruptly leave work shows that she know that she was wrong.
