How To Wear A Hair Scarf | 3 Quick & Easy Ways

Hey everybody, it's Sara from The Style Blog welcome back thanks, so much for tuning in today. I want to do a quick short and easy video tutorial for you guys on how to wear a hair scarf three different ways. You don't need bobby pins. You don't need to know how to braid or do an updo. You don't need. Any of that. All you need is a hair tie and a hair scarf mine was under ten bucks. I will link it below. I really wanted to do this video for you all to show you that you can wear a hair scarf and it doesn't have to look. You don't have to look like a little girl. You don't have to look like you're trying too hard. It kind of just elevates any look. It makes you look super stylish and sophisticated, so I hope you enjoy this video. Let'S get started on the first look. Ok, the first look. I want to do a sort of headband wrap with this hair scarf. So I want my hair down honestly. I think this looks better if your hair is curled, you can try it without. It'S probably gon na be fine, but I just prefer my hair curled with these I'll link, my hair curling tutorial. If you want to know exactly how I got these curly waves, so I just have this hair scarf here and what I want to do is find the shiny side, which is the side facing you right now, I'm going to fold it over diagonally. So I have a triangle: roll it from the longest side to the shortest side. Ok, so you should have a nice long scarf here all rolled diagonally, okay, first things: first, I'm going to take a few pieces out of the front of my hair. Just you know a decent section on each side and pull those forward. Next, I'm gon na take the rest of my hair toward the back and I'm just going to put it in a nice little ponytail. It doesn't have to look pretty because we're just going to take it out here in a minute. Ok, so I'm gon na take my hair scarf. I'M going to place it just behind where I left these bangs out and I'm gon na. Take it on behind here and I'm just going to tie it underneath my neck. Ok, so I tied it twice and you're just going to arrange it wherever you want on top of your head. If this part starts sticking out just tuck it back in ok. So now we're just going to take our pony out and just let your hair fall back around like it would naturally and tada. That was super simple and easy and quick and my look is just sort of elevated now. It looks like I put in a lot more effort than I did super easy. I kind of like it when the end shows around your neck here it just adds little more. I don't know oomph to your look all right. Let'S move on to the next. Look. All right now, it's time for the second look, it's just as easy as the first. All you need is a hair tie and your hair scarf okay. So I'm just gon na take all my hair back and put it in a low pony. It will stay in the pony this time, so I'm just taking my hair and I'm gathering it at the bottom of my neck and just wrapping it with that pony all right. This is about how I want it, so I'm going to create some volume up front. So I'm just going to start pulling my hair out of the hair tie. All right looks good, so I'm just going to take my hair scarf. It'S still wrapped the same way that it was in a diagonal here and I'm going to just tie it around the back of my pony. If you notice that your scarves tend to fall out of your hair, just take it through one loop of the elastic all the way around and then tie it and tada guy. That is literally all I'm gon na do it looks so cute and sophisticated and upscale and honestly I just put my hair in a pony and put a hair scarf around it. So I'm pretty sure this one was even easier than the first. I love the look of when your pony comes over your shoulder and you can kind of see your hair tie with it. I don't know, I think this look is super. Sophisticated and cute can be worn anywhere to the office to school running errands. It just looks like you, put a lot more effort into your look and you look super fashionable and cute. Ok now it's time for look number three, so it's super simple and easy. Also I love this. One might be my favorite, I kind of love all of them, though I can't decide my favorite, but this one's super cute for this one you're going to need your hair tie and your hair scarf, and that's it ok. So first thing I'm going to do: is I'm going to take my hair in a half up pony, so I'm going to grab between my ears and my eyes here and go straight back? Ok and I'm going to wrap my hair tie and I'm going to pull it through every time except the last time. I'Ll show you all right and this time I'm just going to pull half way through ok, so this is kind of just like our half bun. I'M gon na make sure I pull out some hair because I want it to be looser again like we did last time all right, perfect and I've noticed that the lower the sits, the better the hair tie will look, so you don't really want it to sit Way up here, you want it to sit down a little bit since we're gon na put it in a bow all right. So this is looking pretty good. Ok, so now grab your hair scarf. This is twisted & wrapped just the exact same way. That has been this entire time, I'm going to wrap it around and tie it in a bow I'll show you ok, so I wrapped it around and tied it once now. I'M just going to make a bow like I would, if I was just tying my shoes all right, let's check out the back here. Okay and tada, we did it. This is the third look. You could just leave this down, leave the ends down and not tie it in a bow like we did our pony, and that would be super cute as well. I think it just adds a little something with the bun and, of course you don't have to do the bun. You could leave your half pony down. Just like we did the regular pony, there's so many options with this look.
