Here is another one of my Craft Show Favorites. These are so quick to make you will want one in several different colors. Hope you enjoy this new project. Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT & SUBSCRIBE!!!!

Hello, everybody - and this is Glenda Winkelman and welcome back to creative grandma. I hope you're enjoying our series of crocheted items and today's episode will be the super fast super quick hair ties. This is another one of my favorites at the crafts shows and Springs coming. So you know what that means get busy. So, if you're enjoying my videos, please like comment and subscribe to my channel to begin this project, you're going to need size, 3 crochet cotton thread, you're going to need an elastic hair tie now. This is about two and a half inches in diameter and that's what the instructions are written for. You'Re going to me, aside, g64 millimeter, crochet hook a yarn needle makes it a lot easier to weave your ends in in the back when you're finished scissors, and then what I do is I usually go to the dollar store. Dollar General. You can buy a whole pack of hair ties for a dollar and that's a nice way to have a large assortment of colors. Let'S get started to begin you're going to take your thread you're, going to loop it right through the center of that hair tie and you're just going to tie a knot, then you're going to grab your little end piece here and just hold it right against your Hair tie and you'll just crochet right over that end, so take your crochet hook, you're going to insert it through the center of that hair tie you're, going to grab your yarn and pull it through and you're going to chain. One then you're going to do a single crochet put your hook underneath the hair hair tie right through that loop grab, your yarn, pull it through and do a single crochet, then you're going to chain four one. Two three four - and this is so super fast and super easy. The only thing you do is just come right back down around and through your look, your hair tie Center grab that yarn do a single crochet got to put my glasses on. So I can't see chain four one: two, three four and you're going to do this about ninety five times around or until it's full. So again, you're going to take your hook go from front to back through the center of your hair tie. Grab that yarn pull it through. Do a single, crochet and chain. Four, two three for I'll show you one more time take your hook from front to back. Through the center of the hair tie grab your yarn, bring it back through. Do a single, crochet and chain, four one, two three four so I'll work around I just happen to have a red one that was ready to finish now. When you get, you don't have to count these and say: oh, my goodness, I got ta count to 95. Just so it's not stretched just do it, so you can feel it full like. I have a little bit of room there if I really stretch, but I don't want it that tight. So I try to keep it a little bit loose and you can once you make one you'll, be able to tell okay. So here's my end, I'm just going to push that back to make it easier for you to be able to see how you join. I did my last single crochet and my chain four, so to join. All you're going to do is insert your hook into the first single crochet that you made when you started your your hair tie. So just insert your hook in there to slip stitch through there. I always chain two. You may have a different way of fastening off. I pull that up through there tighten and I just move my loops around until I like the way it is you're going to take a yarn needle tape, a stre needle, and this makes it so much easier to weave your ends in because, if you try to Use a crochet hook - sometimes it's just hard to do so. I just take my yarn needle you, bring it to the back and just go underneath those loops of that single crochet, and you want to pull that through snip that thread and there we have our durable hair ties, and I hope you enjoyed this video. Here'S a copy of the instruction, and in case the video is going too fast for you to copy them. There should be a pause button at the bottom of the screen. You can go ahead and pause. It and that'll make it easier for you to copy the instructions.
