Hey there tubers it's little hipster again, and i am here with another um dreadlock hairdo tutorial. This one is gon na. Be super easy. It'S just! I'M gon na tell you right now: it's just a high ponytail, that's it but um. I'M gon na tell you. I'Ve had my dreadlocks now for almost three years and they're getting heavy. You know and it's to the point where they won't like with the regular ponytail holders. They won't stay in a high ponytail because it like it's like slowly but surely like droops down my head and that just won't do for me because let me tell you, i was a pretty hardcore, cheerleader uh from like middle school through college. So i need a high ponytail. You know what i'm saying: i've always appreciated a high ponytail and when they get to a certain length and a certain weight, they just don't want to stay there anymore with regular ponytail holders. So i have um figured out how to do this without a ponytail holder, and i'm going to show you so that you can hopefully use it and it works really. Well, it stays high and tight all day long. Don'T even have to worry about it. So we're going to get started here and all you need is dreadlocks. You don't need any ponytail holders. Um you're gon na need dreadlocks that have some sort of length to them, because this isn't gon na work as well, if they're short so anyways without further ado. Let'S get started okay. First of all, you want to pick out a spot on your head where you want this ponytail to be like, i said i was a cheerleader for a really long time, so i like to be i, like my ponytails to be high up. So what i do is i usually find my center dreadlock, which is this one. It'S the one that sticks straight up off my head. You know um and i just take the two that are beside it and then i lay it back down because uh this is usually a good spot for my ponytail to be so. I take these two dreadlocks. I look like a bug um. I take these two dreadlocks and um. I'M gon na have to stand up for this because you have to flip your hair over whilst holding on to these. So this is what i'm gon na do. Hopefully you can still see me. You flip your hair over. While you hold on to your two dreadlocks here, make sure that all your hair is flipped forward and it's all straight, none of it's caught up on anything else, and then you wrap your hairs around or you wrap your dreads around and you crisscross them. I don't even know if you can see that, but you crisscross them like that and kind of pull tight. So, as you can see right now, they're already pretty much in a ponytail, you pull tight and then you whip your head back like that, and you make sure that all of your hair is right within these two dreads like that. So you can see it's already, making a ponytail and then you're just going to tie these, so you criss-cross, you put one under the other like that, and you tie it and you really don't have to pull too tight just tight enough to where you know it Starts holding everything into place, and that is basically your ponytail right there um. I don't like these two ends, sticking out all crazy. So what i like to do is i like to take it and then i like to tuck it back underneath the underneath itself. Basically, i tuck it um back into the same dread that i use to tie and i do the same thing around this side too. I just tuck it right back in well. If it'll tuck there, it goes and see. Now you have this awesome and you can you can put it whatever direction. You want it, but now you have this awesome high ponytail that sits right on top of your head all day. Long and you're gon na have to mess with it and yank some dreads harder so that you know everything's not completely wacko. So there we go see. I think that looks really good um but yeah. You can have it straight back like that uh most of the time at the end of the day, my ponytail kind of ends up coming over here, and i always have like this wonderful, like 80s style ponytail, you can wear it over. Here too. I think it looks pretty cute and it really puts your dreadlocks. You know on display if you will makes them very noticeable to people so yeah. That'S how i do my high ponytail and, like i said it, stays right here, high and tight all day long. So no ponytail holders needed uh. That was real, simple. So sorry about that, if you were expecting something you know more complicated and everything, it's just a simple ponytail. I hope that you enjoy it and i hope that you can use it.
