Babes welcome back, i hope, you're all well, so, for a lot of you, this video might be very strange, a lot different from my usual content. However, some of you might be familiar with this because i've done a video like this about a year ago and a lot of people really really loved it. So i wanted to do a follow-up video on that um. So in today's video i'm not going to be talking about all the hacks that i talked about in the last video that was about thin and fine hair. So if you want to see additional tips, i'd highly recommend to check that video out i'll leave it in the description box down below and honestly, maybe even watch that video first and then come back to this one um but yeah in today's video. I'M going to share some additional hacks that i have found really help me with my thin and fine hair of very, very thin hair um, and you might not see that right now, but we'll get to that in the video but yeah very thin and fine hair. My mother has very very thin and fine hair um even worse than me, and so i've just dealt with this all my life and i've kind of learned, different things and within the last year i've learned some more things that i wanted to share with you guys And hopefully they can help some of you, because i know how horrible it can be to have really thin and fine hair a lot of the times it really messes. With your confidence and stuff like that so yeah. Hopefully i can help some of you out. I will leave everything if i'm talking about products uh linked in the description box down below as well, so make sure to check that out and i'm gon na stop rambling. Let'S just go ahead and jump right into it: okay, so starting off with the first tip, which is to not wash your hair a lot, don't wash it every day, don't even wash it every other day, and i know this is going to maybe sound gross or Weird, but you really want to wait like six days in between hair washes and you probably are going to say right now: angelique my hair is so thin. It is so fine when it gets greasy, it gets greasy and then it's game over and that's how my hair was and still is, a little bit um. I have such thin hair again, like i'm gon na sound. Like a broken record, i really have very very thin, hair and um if it gets greasy and it gets greasy fast because it is so thin um. It just gets really greasy. But what i did is i kind of trained my hair and my hairdresser told me to do this um and meaning training, my hair. What that means is i basically like it took a little while to get to the point where now it doesn't get that greasy anymore, that quick, it really works. You just have to stick with it, so i would just go days and days without washing my hair and just use dry, shampoo or wear a hat on the days where it got just really greasy um. Until i got to my hair washing day, you know what i mean and um. It was a little painful at first, because i had super greasy hair. But after about i don't know, maybe like three four months or something like that, my hair really got used to it, and now it doesn't get nearly as greasy, which i think is really helpful, because if your hair is thin and fine and you don't have a Lot of hair and it gets greasy fast um, then it can look even thinner and i absolutely hate that so not washing your hair every day or every other day try to go as long as you can can be. Super super helpful for you number two. Let'S talk about color now this might not apply to everyone and by the way, in my last video i talked about, hair cut so definitely check that video out um but anyways. Let'S talk about color, i wanted to talk about color because for those of you who are like me, who are not a natural blonde, you know that dyeing your hair blonde is really not good for your hair, no matter if you have thick hair or thin hair Right, but it can be even worse if you do have thin hair because it kind of damages your hair. So here's my thing. Obviously i am completely blonde right um. I am very dark, naturally, a very dark hair. So this is something that i feel like a lot of people need to know, because i still see so many people doing this um. Even some of my friends and i used to do it too way back when now i've been seeing the same hairdresser for about almost seven years. I'Ve never seen anyone else. In those seven years, she's been coloring, my hair she's been keeping me blonde. My hair is really really healthy now compared to what it used to be, and what we do is instead of coloring my roots, every four to six weeks, which is something you would naturally want to do. If you want to be a blonde because you're rude show, and then it doesn't look that good, we wait a lot longer like she does never ever ever. Color me like every four to six weeks. I sometimes wait, probably a good three to four months. Until i touch my roots up, which is oftentimes, why you see me a little rudy, but i really like that. Look, and i know it's healthier for my hair now. Do i want to be a bright fresh blonde all the time? Yes, but if i kept dyeing my hair every four weeks, especially blonde like it would really damage it and it would probably be a lot more unhealthy than it is now. So that is a big tip that i can give you guys and even though i'm not a hairdresser. This is what my hairdresser has told me so many times, and this is what we have been doing and it has worked. I am able to be a blonde and not have completely damaged hair number three. Let'S talk about um a product really quickly. I'Ve talked about dry shampoo in my last video, again check it out um, but in today's video i wanted to talk about another product that i have since then found. I don't think i mentioned it in the last video, but this right here is it not sponsored or anything like that at all, but i absolutely love this and it is a life saver, absolute lifesaver for thin and fine hair. So this is called um. The volumizing texturizing spray, so what i do is, after i style my hair, it's typically very just like flat right um. I spray it in a little bit of my roots, a little bit in the middle of my hair and then i kind of scrunch it a little bit and it really adds volume and texture to your hair and i feel like it can be very hard to Find a product that works on thin and fine hair a lot of the products, don't do what they're supposed to do, or they even weigh your hair down and make it even worse. This one really really works. It really adds that texture. It really adds that volume and it helps me so much with feeling more confident with my hair. I even spray it in my ponytail, sometimes so highly highly recommend that product number four. Let'S talk about hair extensions. I did not talk about that in my last video. Now, hair extensions are kind of like some people love them. Some people don't love them. I feel like. I need hair extensions, which is why, at the beginning of the video i said, you might not be able to see right now that my hair isn't that thin and that's because i have extensions in but again i feel like. There is a fine line with extensions. You don't want to go with the wrong ones. Now i have had my fair share of extensions. I'Ve had tape ins, i've had the ones that are individually like bonded in i've had so many different extensions now. The ones that i have been putting in my hair for about the last six years are called clix, hair extensions and they're absolutely non-damaging to your hair. They'Re not that expensive either they basically just um, are like your hair is pulled through these little clips and then they are closed and that's it um and it's really really helped my hair. Another great thing with these extensions is that obviously it adds a little bit of volume and adds some length, but i don't have to dye my hair as often because i have these extensions in and they are already blonde, so that really helps as well um. Another thing that i wanted to mention to you guys that i recently tried that i really do like is a halo piece. I was always very skeptical of those um and again this isn't sponsored or anything like that. I'Ll leave some random ones linked down below, but halo pieces can really help, and i actually recommended that to my mom, because her hair is just so thin and i feel like that, would really help her hair um just to look a little thicker and it would Just give her more confidence, but a halo is really really simple. You basically just part your hair put the halo in then put your hair over the top and voila you're good to go last, but certainly not least, let's talk about some more like products um. I want to talk about like how important shampoo and just products in general that you put in your hair can be so i like to look for things that don't have alcohol in it. So, for example, um when i blow dry my hair and stuff, like that, i always use a heat protectant, but i really like this one. It helps to cut down your drying time and it also um has a heat protectant, but why i really like this is not only because it smells delicious, but it has no alcohol in it and i feel like products that have alcohol in it and unfortunately, a Lot of them do are really really bad on your hair and make them even more dry and brittle, and i just it doesn't work well for me, anyways um and shampoo and conditioner. Like the same thing, i have taken a very long time to find a shampoo and conditioner that really works well for my thin and fine hair that doesn't weigh it down that doesn't make it feel yucky that doesn't make it look even thinner than it already is. So i will leave my favorite one linked in the description box down below. I really really love that stuff i mean i, i wouldn't recommend it. If i didn't swear by it, it helps my hair. Anyways doesn't weigh it down, makes it feel super soft makes it feel and look very, very healthy. So it is really important that the products you put in your hair um are good products and are products that work for you. Sometimes you have to do a little testing out and trying out, and sometimes you have to spend a little more money than you would maybe want to, but i just feel like it really helps me and my confidence to make sure my hair feels and looks its Absolute best, even though i might not be the happiest with it, you know because it is thinner and finer than most people's hair um, but i really hope that these tips helped some of you if they did give this video a thumbs up. If you want to share any additional tips, please do in the description box in the comment section down below. I would love to hear um what tips you guys have and that's it for today's video

Angélique Eva: A little different video today, hope you guy's still enjoy this! The previous hair video was actually from 2 years ago not 1 and needed an update as i have learned some additional things. Please feel free to share your thoughts and tips in the comments. xo ❤️❤️❤️

еva: I used to wash my hair once a week but ever since I lost 50% of my hair (due to depression and stress), I need to wash my hair every second day because if I don’t wash my hair, it looks even thinner

TmHudsonArt: The reason I started to wash my hair every other day was because when i washed once a week, I was spending 6 days with a greasy mess. Now I alternate between ok hair and greasy mess so just slap it back on the second day. I think tying it up in a pony causes more damage where the hair band is too. Looks terrible if I leave it loose. Not sure my hair would train to be less greasy if i washed it less again. As I say, it was the very reason I started washing more frequently. My face is also really oily so it's not just my scalp...

Callys V: 1: don't wash your hair so often, try around 5-6 days, it takes training. 2: color, try not to bleach ? or at least wait a few month in between 3: use voumizing texturizing spray- from brand xxx 4: extensions, halo piece 5: more products, no alcohol, ...

K B: If I dont wash my hair for more than 3 days then I feel my hair will fall. You can also get clogged pores on your scalp with the greasy hair. Everyones scalp is different

Denise Boertje: I switched to washing my hair with hair conditioner only, no shampoo, which strips out the natural pH and oils. Takes about 3 washings for your hair to “get used” to the conditioner routine. I wash about every week and a half to 2 weeks. Important to use natural conditioner without stearates. I use the very economical Sauve Naturals Rose Scented. Mix about 2tablespoons with 1 cup warm water and swish to mix, then apply to wet hair and massage in. Leave on about 5 minutes, rinse out till hair is ‘squeaky’. Works so amazing. I’ve been doing this for 10 years now, and my hair has never been healthier or shinier. Another tip is to use root lift, and blow dry hair with a diffuser on low heat after towel drying. I like Paul Mitchell Root Lift. My one expensive hair product, haha!

Ellen Leather: Fine hair friend here! I have clip on extensions that I only use for performances and wore at my wedding to feel better about myself, i dreaded the photos and seeing such blah hair. I find the extensions I have really hard to blend as they are much bulkier than my natural hair. When I have a professional do it it’s fine but I would love something that I can easily do without a lot of fuss and obvious bumps and clips. How do people find working with halos? Do they show obviously through the back of your hair where it‘s a little darker? Also when the wind blows etc it’s just hard cause fine hair is already such a mess when outdoors, let alone trying to make the extensions work :( I still haven’t found a solution. Thanks for your video

Blush Crown: *Loved this! Which curling iron do you use? I love everything hair related!*

Emily: Have you tried the Valoom? It's like a crimper that provides texture at the roots giving you more volume. It's one of the best things I have used for my hair.

Audrey Wongchinsri: I have super fine hair too so I’m grateful for my natural waves/curls otherwise I’d have no volume at all. To add insult to injury, I was getting bald spots from alopecia and had to get steroids injected in my scalp. Now I’m at the point where I’m considering extensions. Wore a few clip in pieces today for the 1st time a I felt much more confident. Thanks for the advice.

JHR: The problem with washing your hair too much is the shampoo most people use. If you find a low ph shampoo you can wash it more because it doesn’t strip the hair completely. Low ph shampoo is best for color treated hair too! Also people with low porosity hair actually need to wash their hair more frequently. It’s good to find out your hair type and research about what shampoo and even hair products work best for you.

Flossy Jones: Take a little bacon soda and put it in your hair that will dry up the oil. And you can also put Epsom salts and a spray bottle and spray it in your hair. Make sure the water is hot so the Epsom salts will dissolve and spray it in your hair and scrunch it up that will help with fine thin hair. Matter of fact it will give you a wave a lot of people use it for beach waves. And for the bacon soda use one of your old makeup brushes. And just go there by layer for as much as you think you need. What I mean separated and put the baking soda in there.

Forever Young: I have fine thin hair. Yours isn't that bad. I just use hair extensions. My hair is too oily to not be able to wash it daily. Cornstarch is also really great for dry shampoo.

Catherine Desilets: I’ve found something that really helps my confidence plus is helping more hair growth so far.. “hair density serum from the Ordinary “ I put it in my hair the 2nd night after I’ve washed & Go to sleep In the morning you comb it out & then it’ll add a lot of volume to the hair & moisturize the scalp so you can go like 4 + days without washing:)

Celeste Lov3: One trick I learned is to have my daughter braid my hair Like in 4 cornrows and when I take them off my hair looks so full and wavy. Plus no heat. I know alot are against braiding but I dont feel or see any damage

Sindi Holman: I just started wearing tape in extensions about 3 weeks ago and I love them. It's nice to have a little volume at the bottom. We didn't put in very much

dawn b: My hair is the same way. I shampoo twice a week, but trying to extend it. Getting my extensions again soon. ✨

Averill Stevenson: Have you tried volume extensions - toppers? Clip it on top of your hair, some at your hairline, some just behind, They comb through with your own hair. Amazing difference. These are also good for extending salon coloring appointments, as they cover your roots. The best plan is to get the topper, bring to your salon, and have it custom colored and cut for your hair. Game Changer!

hela Zemni: I always tell this story. My mom has the most beautiful and strong hair.(like a lot of other moms of course ❤️) She is 69, and has still a cool Cleopatra cut. Black and shiny. And she ALWAYS says: Washing 1 x time a week is absolutely enough! And NEVER NEVER NEVER let people touch your HAIR except your hair dresser. Even not your man and kids Your hairs are exactly like plants..... they do not want to be touched. I follow her tips, and she is sooooo right. Angeliques tips are actually the same.... True❣️

BM Can: I stopped washing my hair everyday/every other day since the pandemic. At first it would get so greasy, looks heavy and stays flat. Like CRAZY greasy af. Now I'm on my 2nd month of washing every 5-7 days, may hair looks healthier and not as flat as before. Less greasy too!! I think if you wash your hair too much, your hair kind of sends extra oil to cover the lost moisture.

luckyneko1: I never wash my hair more than one a week. It's thin, fine and dry.

Mary Abdel-Malik: Love this video right on time you & I have very oily thin fine hair.

XofHope: Back when I was a kid it was normal to only wash your hair once a week, then came this obsession with washing it everyday and it actually didn't do anyone or the environment any good, such a waste of water and hair products to put back what you had just washed out. My ideal has been about once every 5 days. Really nice tips, loved the other video too! Just not so sure about the extensions. I had them once... for a week! And that's because my hairdresser couldn't get them out sooner. Really hated the feeling and it damaged too much hair too. Just wondering why you want so much to be blond, especially when you know how much it damages your already thin hair...

Jeissi Beauty: I'm suffering from thin hair now in my late 40s. thanks!

Suzanne Hall: I have fine, thin hair too and I definitely agree about the benefits of hair pieces. I have 5 or so. Due to severe sinusitis and asthma I can’t use things like dry shampoo or styling sprays and hair pieces are definitely the answer for me. So is wearing it back from my face. If I wear it down, other than on the day I have washed it, it looks thinner.

Flyaway Heart: Whats better the original or light version? (for thin dry hair)

Amy Anderson: I could not click fast enough. My hair has gotten so thin and fine. I am actually worried. I do not dry it or use an iron on it. I have to pull it back everyday because it is too thin to wear down. I do wash it every day. It is so stringy if I don’t! I will try not washing it like you said. Thank you for posting this video. My hair has been thin and fine my whole life. But lately it has just been breaking off and shedding like crazy! I am 48 years old.

Daisy Leal: My mom has fine hair too.. blessed she is for having curl hair so beautiful. mine is long wavys

A person who has a Google account: I haven't dyed my hair since January. I quit using extensions. I quit washing my hair a lot. I wash it once a week. Sometimes I'll go 2 weeks. I use oils every other day. I wash my hair with conditioner and do hair treatments twice a week. Argon oil, keratin oil, pearl oil and leave in conditioner goes in my hair every other day. I don't blow dry my hair. I air dry. I don't go to bed with wet hair. Extensions will destroy your hair. Quit wearing them. It doesn't matter what type you wear or who you go to. TAKE THEM OUT. I trim my hair once every 4 months. I take hair skin and nails pills. I drink a lot of water. I exercise. Exercise helps with circulation to the scalp. So get up and lose some weight. Quit eating junk. Eat healthy. Don't consume too much protein or too little. Check your hormones. I use regular shampoo with sulfates because sulfate free dried my hair out to the point I had to chop off inches. I have 6 inches of outgrowth since January. My YouTube picture is old so it's not accurate what my hair looks like. Those are my tips and tricks. My hair is collar bone length a little longer. Also!!!! Switch up your hair style because wearing your hair too tight or the same style everyday, braids, up dos, what ever WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR FALL OUT. Get used to wearing it down. That's how you get your hair to grow thicker and healthier.

Victoria Pence: I've been highlighting my hair for.50 yrs and washing it every day just as long. My Derml approves, since I have very oily.& seborrhea. My hair is very healthy since I take good care of it. Dr Dray, a Board Certified Dermal on Youtube has also said its perfectly Fine to wash your hair everyday. I don't know what your credentials are and maybe what you preach may help some people. But not Everyone!

Annette Herr: This is my first video of yours and I absolutely LOVE and APPRECIATE you sharing your experience so smart bit simple tips .. I’m a fan! also not trying to be weird or creepy but you have a very unique tongue .. it’s got this plump cleavage at the center when you talk and it’s so attractive Much love ❤️

Rhiannon Ledger: I wash my hair once a week, and in the past couple years it's grown from my shoulders to my navel. Don't strip the natural oils! Wash your hair only when grimy!

Lindsay Smith: It's all fine and good till he runs his hands through your hair and pulls the halo off a bit, or you roll around with him and it flies off of your head. I'm sad.

bettie ann fry: I have tried over and over to train my hair - and it never has worked . :(

fabi1234111: Are you diagnosed with androgenetic hair loss? Would you say your hair got worse within the last 2-3 years? Minoxidil might help you

Yaqueline Lemus: You look stunning with you natural hair color.

Mrs. Bee: Could you please leave a link or the name of those hair extensions you use please? Thanks!

VR G: I get scalp tension with pain if I don’t wash every other day. I wash gently and my scalp loves it.

Alexis Wong: I work in the hospital and have to wash my hair everyday when I get back to protect myself and loved ones. Right now I'm applying jojoba oil at the hair ends 20 mins before washing. Hopefully this will dampen the effect of daily washing.

Vanessa Krugman: There is no way Im waiting 6 days to wash my hair..I would feel so dirty..If I dont put my hair under the shower my ears and scalp and neck and face feel filthy so this will never work for me!!!

Carol Jackson: Thank you for this helpful videos.

Sheila Price: Women in menopause like myself do your research on the herb Nettle and Kelp. I’m doing both and I am seeing a HUGE difference. Blessings to you

Lenka Lenka: What kind of click hair extensions are you using here? I can't find them anywhere. Can you please share the link with us? I would high appreciate

Maeve: Don’t wash your hair everyday but make sure to wash your scalp everyday!

Mrs. OZ: Does your hair keep falling out every time you wash? or did it at one point stop and now it's how it is. also did you ever try to figure out why maybe thyroid or anything from the dr?

Kimberly Sorce: thanks for the tips :)

SamboydSC: I know you are right when you say washing every day is bad for fine hair, but I workout hard most mornings. There's no way I can not wash. It's a problem I don't know what to do about. Helpful vid and thanks!

Susan Atkins: What make is the texturising spray?

none none: Have you tried rinsing with green tea? It cheap and doesnt get sticky. The polephynols in green tea are suppose to feed the scalp microbiome. There are some studies about it.

Andrea S: I would suggest you look for fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.

cindysplusstyle: I was looking for the links to the halo or clip extensions, didn't see them. Which do you use?

JAMIE BROCK: I am so confused on the not washing hair so much with thin hair. My hair is extremely thin and fine. So, I find that when I only wash twice each week. My hair loss is significantly more than when I wash my hair every other day. So I don’t know what to do. All I know is that my hair loss is 90% less than when I only wash twice each week.

chrislan stelly: I'm so sad cuz my hair way too thin for any of the Halo, the extensions can't really do that but I'll continue to look for good ideas

pirhan: I find that my hair gets less greasy with the more moisturizing conditioner/leave in I use. I have dehydrated facial skin, so it dawned on me that perhaps my scalp is dry/dehydrated too. I know that dry/dehydrated skin will produce more oil to compensate, so I think that's what my scalp did too. The more moisture I put in it, the more less greasy days I have. (And it was so greasy day two that the hair roots were actually painful.)

miettelund84: can you put what the name of the volumizer is??? Since the volumizing texturizing spray is sold out, the link is gone.

Maria Mari: Hi omg You have to try pureolgy Hydrate shampoo it’s really good and for Voluming spray you have to try living proof it’s really good ...

S Locky73: Points mentioned if you can’t watch as it’s kind of long… Shampoo less often Colour hair less often and use the same hai stylist so they get to know your hair Use a texture spray ( mentions IGK) Clip in hair extensions halo hair piece Use Products that are alcohol free -they are linked in description box

Dorothy Lisbon: I recommend you look into fast hair growth fortified shampoo.

Tobi Kulukjian: Hi! What Halo brands do you like the best pretty please? ❤

Aesthetic Starlight: Can anyone suggest me a haircut for my thin hair to make it look thicker ?

susan wolf: Dry shampoo makes your hair fall out.And unlike what she says l hilite my hair everyday 2 months with low volume developer and gives me somuch volume. Coloring just damages my hair.

noergli: Not washing every other day would be horrific for my seborric ekzema. Not washing for a week would be so bad for my scalp. Even if you don't have issues now, something like that can trigger the scalp so bad.

Jenifer Dunn: I’ve heard that dry shampoo blocks your pores and therefore stops hair growth

petra r.: why does the bottle in your video looks different to the one you linked (the texture spray). you showed a green or blue one. and if you click on the link there is a black one

FluteHooper: There's no links to the hair extensions

ioana vlaicu: Angelique, what shade is your lipstick ?

Joelle Aittama: Your hair did look thicker with the blunt cut. Confused why you recommend it and then have layers. Also, I would be concerned with scalp health if washing if every six days. That is bad for hair follicles.

juliesquirrel: I can relate lol

me4getz: I was excited to watch this video. However, I apparently did not get the memo that I was to lack confidence due to my fine thin hair, and that my life was just the worst. Some good info, but your language made me leave.

Sue h: Those clip in hair extensions are very expensive here in Michigan.. hundreds and hundreds.. they need to be redone every 4-6 weeks so more money.. sad..

4tun8nanette: I wish halo pieces had hair in front as well. Even just a little wispy hair would help my balding front.

Deb R: This video brought me to your channel

dydaaa me: Ok but if scalp is oily because face is also oily, it doesn't do anything if you don't wash it, it's still going to get oily after u wash , i tryed and never worked

Charlene Roderick: Hi is this a dry shampoo?

Jay W: Omg come up for air every now and then!

Profl Redhead: If l don't wash my hair for do long then I find more hair in my wide tooth comb

pipnsunski: Six days is too long to wait to wash. Get right shampoo.

miettelund84: I"m sorry, you need to hold the product, PAUSE, and tell us the name. THese links don't work if they're sold out so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Ellen Batts: Enjoyed but please actually to some videos because I am a "sight learner" Need to actually visualize...........Thankyou

Jack Arouu: who sells that product

Roche Gold: My hair looks like this

Good-vibes 1: All what you said is useless ! Shampoo and conditioner won’t do anything, but supplements and healthy diet will

A E: 1st tip is so Not good. and coloring your hair blonde continually as a brunette and extensions is 99.9 % why you have such thin stringy hair .

Jane Lesniak: You were beautiful as a brunette. Why not just, foil,in blond streaks

Sandy H: To me, you have lots of hair.

Chi Chi: These are tips for how to walk around looking like a rag-a-muffin with greasy hair and grey roots

Bebe Roman: Too much talking with no substance.
