What'S up everybody man, it has been a minute since i made a vlog and um, oh boy. I hope i didn't just burst your eardrums with that squeal. What was all that screaming about? What was that all about? I guess! Oh, you wanted to be in the vlog, but uh we have been we've been good, uh, we're still in lockdown the world's longest lockdown, but we have some exciting news. The lockdown is about to be finished this week, which i am so ready for guys, i'm so ready to get back to your life as, as i guess, covey normal, we would call it uh. Things are starting to go a little bit back to normal. Already ava started back at school this week, which she's been really excited about and zoe, and i we've got to have some daddy daughter days. Haven'T we well you've got food all over your mouth. I need to clean that all up today, i'm going to be trying out a new hairstyle, which is, i would use my finger to point it out, but i've got no free hands, so i'm gon na be trying out this new hairstyle today i uh don't know If i'm gon na be able to pull it off, let's go and attempt this new hairstyle wish me luck guys, because i i really need it. What are you doing? Oh, my goodness, and when you call we'll answer you and always get it right, anyplace take the lead and let it set you free cause. When you need someone to trust, we are always there say your goals live your dreams. You can always linking one braid to the next braid, then another one, then another one then another one it was. It was really tricky. I have to give a shout out some props to all the parents out there or the amazing moms who can actually pull these hairstyles off for their kids and especially huge shout out for the dads who can do this stuff. Like ice spike, loves asia, who i got their hair inspo from the stuff he does with his daughter's hair. Is amazing stuff like this. For us guys it does not come natural, we don't grow up, learning about girls, hair or even thinking about girls, hairstyles. So learning this stuff from scratch is really really hard and i definitely overestimated my abilities when trying this style out. I'Ve got so far to go the guys who can actually pull this stuff off and make it look good. So much love time and effort goes into learning all of this stuff, because it is a skill that does not come naturally to men at all, but i'm working on it all right. We'Re gon na go to the park guys. That was my promise. If she sat still while we were doing her, hair we'll go to the park afterwards and she sat very still for an hour and a bit for a hairstyle that she doesn't even all right. This is yeah. You just scraped your arm. Oh boy. Oh, i just got told so if i have to wear a face mask in your restaurant, how come you're not wearing one? It'S because um! This is the kid restaurant, so we're both here. This is the kid restaurant. Oh, i see that makes perfect sense and thanks for reminding me, i'm actually your dad and i'm not really a customer. I do forget for a second, you got home from the post office, so i got this package from seed. I bought the kids. Some new plumber dresses hi. This is zombies meal. Today, oh you look so cute do a spin to a spin wow. It'S actually super cute. I love it. Whoa, that's actually super cute. What do you think you like it? I haven't even seen. I think i figured out some of the stuff that i did wrong with her hair for one next time. I'M gon na use rubber bands rather than hair bands. I think it'll work better, but rubber beans are really tricky to get out. I can always cut them. Cut yeah, i will not accidentally because of your hair and then the other thing. I think that i can do differently next time is, instead of trying to connect all of these braids and make one long braid, which is something that i found really tricky i'll. Just connect it into like a big curly ponytail, so the weather's really nice today and i was looking at the weather app and saw it's going to be raining for like the next five days. So i decided we may as well make the most of it and go down to the beach, because it's been really warm and the kids have been asking me when we can go to the beach and actually go in the water. And i thought you know what today i think it might be warm enough. So we're heading down to the beach. Ah there's jellyfish everywhere: oh the water's actually cold. Do you think it's cold? How do you not think that's cold? My feet are freezing. I don't know how these kids do it, they're, never cold. Literally, nothing has changed ever since abel was a baby. Every time we come to the beach she's, always chasing seagulls, these poor seagulls. It'S hurting your bones chasing the seagulls. You sound like a little old lady walking is hurting your bars. She keeps picking up these hard bits of sand and she's convinced that they are seashells they're, just high bits of sand. Sweetie, it's just hard said sweetie. Can i show you can i can i show you how it crumbles? Okay, see see it's not a show. Where are your legs, that guy out there he's on an electric surfboard he's way way way out in the ocean? I'M super zoomed in and he just went down that's something, i'm so desperate to try right now, like 15 000, those electric surfboards are crazy, expensive, all right guys. Michelle J: Please Jamie Do NOT use rubber bands on their hair. My Mom made that mistake for a while and it was a while before she noticed my hair was breaking off and the tension was making my hair fall out. I am also mixed (Mom White and Father Black) and my hair is similar to Zoey's. Both my parents hated doing my hair (neither knew how) so a started the whole Saturday Salon ritual early on. Otherwise, I think it is GREAT that you do their hair. There are quite a few of us that can do only a few things with our own hair, personally I can barely braid by not my own hair, so you are REALLY GOOD compared to my skills. You are such a COOL DAD.
