#NaturalHair

Hi everyone welcome if you're new here my name is akia and I love for me is a space where I share a love for type for natural hair beauty and a little bit of lifestyle thrown in and for everyone who has subscribed before this video. Thank you. So much for subscribing thank you for clicking on this video. Thank you for watching my content. I really really appreciate you so today we're gon na use Papago g.o.d conditioner. This is the don't despair, repair, deep conditioning mask, and this is really popular in these youtube streets. I just haven't tried it. I haven't wanted to drop the coin on the large size, because it's expensive and several months ago Sephora had like a 500 point performer Yoshio, and i got it just so. You get the deep conditioner everything else in it, and a little kit really didn't appeal to me and my hair type there's only one fluid ounce, so I don't expect it to last more than one application. My hair is cleansed and already detangles too, but I will use my solution. Leather whip brush to smooth this product through my hair Wow I applied today we're going to talk about natural hair, trans and a negative way or in a positive way, even just trends. What'S going on right now, what you guys would like to see me do and what I'm willing to do. Thank you guys know I'm not willing to try every train, so this seems to be finished. Yeah it's pretty thick. I love a thick pink conditioner, I'm using a small amount, because I expect it to be concentrated so that I don't have to work too hard. It'S smoothing on nicely. I do feel it. So that's good that little bit he's stretching yeah good. I might get a whole 2 uses out of this, so that would be nice. I may be, you know optimistic you may not and, like I said, I put a smoothness with Felicia lemon with Rushmore to make sure I'm getting out all of these shinier and less for the purpose of moving the product around. I just like to make sure I get all my shine here out because that's how I from it knots and tangles in the long run so yeah you'll, see that, as I know, it's late, so trends we're moving out of the rice water trend. People are still using it, but now I think people are getting sick of making it. So more and more people are just looking for products a with rice water, and we still can't conclude one way than the own doubt there. Whether rice water has truly helped. People grow their hair. You know because people do it and also upgrade their regimen 17. So, who knows whether whites where water is really working is once rice water beneficial to the hair? Yes, it can be for sure, give it a miracle. I depends on when you ask, I think, I'm not going to say it isn't. I have it right and I don't get into like analysis around right. I eat a lot of it. I don't feel the need to waste it, making things for my hair. I just use what's out there, but that trend seems to be dying. You know on these YouTube streets, all it takes is one very popular youtuber bring it back, and it's back Iron Maiden is definitely kind of the level now like. I think people are still trying it, but it's not like so trend where everybody's doing shikaka powder powder, rinses and amla powder and all the various Ayurvedic things. I think people are still doing oil treatments, which you know people were doing before. Are they don't make it? So I mean that is what it is right. You know they're definitely good for the hair, so I'm not not gon na die. Do what treatments I it's, because it's not readily available and I just try to do my old treatment so what's readily available. I was this easy, not. I think I got anything against it, but I have used on the oil in the past and it smelt good and it made the hair feel nice wasn't any better than any other oil of use. No, I mean I would say that for me, knowing what I don't know and like you haven't used more stuff for me, it feels very similar to shea butter on the air. That'S melted, like melted, shea butter fractionated mouth has shea butter. So, for me, I just think with shea butter because it's easily accessible without mineral oil which on blow without mineral oil, is not and easily accessible. Speaking of mineral oil, greases back and I've been asked my thoughts on grease and, I think grease. It makes a great feeling it petroleum: is it great sealants ill and get it or seal it? Much like mineral oil is a great sealant. I love, but you think, silicones and hard to get off petroleum. Like it don't come up easy. You really got a strip. Your hair of it I'm more than once there kind of get it off. So that's why I don't use it, but it's a gray sealant like tops and you do not have to have grease with mineral oil. That'S why I say petroleum petroleum is a little easier by itself to get off, but it's still part of it. You don't think you still got to strip your hair because those things build up fast. You think, on problems using silicones, probably I'm going to be some serious problems, but as long as just like my silicones, as long as you have a good red mimic, takes the buildup off then you're crazy, like you're golden I find with petroleum. My hair is not as flexible so like it's great. If I wanted to do like a where you call it like a bun. Oh my gosh, great grease, the ceiling and hoping you'll be cool, like your hair will be fine um. Otherwise, then he's all right. It'S not something, I would do I've done it in the past and it's just it's too much trouble getting it off. So it's not something I would do again, but I'm not knocking it for sure I wouldn't knock it. I mean I used silicone, so I'm not gon na knock it um, but it's one that you must use with caution and you must use brush really your hair broken, so it will get dry. If you do not, and it will flake, your scalp will flake everything off like if you do not get those mineral oil, petroleum off of your hair and scalp, it will cause you issues, so you know just be careful with that. Like I said it's like, I would do a set of twists with it. If I really felt like dealing with it, but again I just slap on butter and get a similar effect without the trouble you know without the issues. Hair color is another trend that I'm really enjoying like that's what I'm getting with right. I bought some Geminoid and rose, as you guys know, because I said in my original hair paint wet video that I wanted to try that and I'm all for hair paint wax. Like so far, I haven't found the downside to hair paint, wax and Jimenez knows black-owned, and I think it's vegan friendly too so yeah, that's one that I'm really enjoying it using. I like the color payoff and everything and it's a gel. So it's not as maxi as a mofo J. It doesn't make your hair like weigh your hair down in the same way. So I kind of like that one better. I'M looking forward to trying more down the line as well as TV, my doing, hair color, I'm not sure I'll, never bleach, as you guys know, I just bleach really does a number on my hair, so I'll never leave but okay, then I'll come back after I Have let this fit with heat, I'm gon na use my cap and dumb rinse it out and tell you my thoughts on it as well as continued. The trends like I was saying, I'm really here for the campaign wax-like by far. I really like that trend. I think people who have bleached are going either away from bleaches or back to bleaching, it's really interesting. Otherwise, I think people really are coming using a hair stylist for hair color, which I think really is. Let'S save this way to go for like permanent hair color, but you know always do you always but anyways. I left the brioche. You know on for 20 minutes and yeah. I end up using the whole thing. I'M delusional, I don't. I don't lead use at least now just conditioner. I don't know why do you think I would use it out, but my hair felt really nice after and it felt really nice rinsing out and it still feel wonderful. Like absolutely wonderful see it's the up close and personal. The way he's in the front are starting to form it, so my weights are curls curls. Ah event: you can see the definition so much ever totally use it again. I purposely didn't look at the price because I didn't want that to sway my opinion in any way shape or form, and I can't say with all certainty that this left my hair, nice and moisturized. Is it like pillowy soft? No did another most lip in the world, no, but it still had slip and my hair feels great and it looks really good. You feel smooth cuticles feel really smooth and happy. Am I getting the most common definition? No, but I'm still getting moisturized hair. So I think, if I put my leave in on the curls on top, but let's look at the price - it's 36 whole dollars for 8 ounces. So if I use an ounce apiece right right, so I can it uses a hit four dollars. A use. Interesting, I mean doesn't really matter to me: cost per use like say. Would I buy it? Wouldn'T I I'm not bad at it. What I purchase it if I could find it myself all in all, I don't mind it. I would use it again, but none a full price as of yet I think I have to find try a few more times to say you know I would use it at full price yeah, but I'm not mad at it. When my hair is obviously I'm mad at it either it's just it's pretty steep, it's pretty steep, but you know what here is a great condition right now, it's all separating easily like it definitely made my hair very happy, and I would like to use it a Few more times to do a full review because I think it has potential to be a really really great big petitioner. For me, I just you know: I'm not gon na say that unless they use it more times, that's you know, but first impression is it's a really good, deep conditioner, I'm putting on leaving additional writing like this. You know about to leave you like this overall. I think my hair feels a really nice and moisturized and soft and a great condition for styling. I think my style is probably gon na be very good, so those are the national chair. Twins that one I'm seeing right now you know, hair color is definitely one that people are playing with. Probably as we move into the winter, people are gon na play more with heat yeah, but we'll see in the comments box below tell me what trim you're getting into right now or, if you're like trend they're, not for you, you're, not a trendy type of person Or tell me a trend you'd like to see me: do no, I'm not not very trendy, but you know if I think it's worth it I'll Drive it, maybe hey and until next time as I continue to apply, leave-in conditioner make sure you hit that subscribe button. If you're not subscribed and the notification build twice before you go, I hope you guys enjoyed this one and, in the meantime, in between time, check me out on patreon, Instagram Facebook and the blog thanks for watching guys, peace

Regular Black Girl: A trend I see is people going back to professional stylists and blow drying their hair more often

monnie j: hi Achia! i totally dissed the whole rice water trend. sometimes you just know something is not for you. i did try the onion juice trend, though. epic fail! now i just stick with my 6 product rotation (half of which are DIY formulations I love!) and me & my hair are good!

Daisy Flower: I never tried rice water because when it was trending I thought I was protein sensitive but I'm not so I still want to try it. Im not expecting long hair but I'm curious as to how my hair would feel I do use hair grease once in while. When I want my hair to stay stretched, I apply a very tiny little bit of it while I band my hair and it works perfectly well. I don't apply it to my scalp I want to try the hair paint wax also and wave formers when my hair is longer

Kendra Wood: Yeah I'm off the DIY train! I'll let the chemists do the work! One brand I'm curious about and would absolutely love for you to do a review on is the Grow Gorgeous line! You'd be the first! I don't see any of us reviewing it and I think it might be good for our hair and scalp! Can you add it to your list??

FeliciaKCMO: It’s not really a trend but I’m going to pull my hair back into buns and start putting in packs of kanekelon hair to make twisted up dos or braided rope buns. I searched a videos here and I want to play with a purple hombre bun. It’s great for holiday parties and get togethers.

Mylynn J: No trends for me. I like to keep it simple. My hair will grow no matter what (Thank You heredity on both sides). My goal is to keep my hair as healthy as possible.

Sassy Fro: I was scared of the rice water trend (protein sensitive hair)...so I stayed away from it.

Karen Reeves: I am not a trendy person either. So I will not be trying rice water. My only trendy thing is color/hi-lights. Hi-lights adds such depth and dimension to curly hair. I have used the Briogeo Don't Despair Repair DC several times and it is a good DC, but I do not think it works any better than the Hask Coconut/Monoi or Miche Protein DC and for considerably less. So when I finish my tub of Don't Despair, I will not be re-purchasing.

Elaine Williams: I love trying new products but I usually pass when it comes to most of the fads and trends. I will occasionally do a few diy conditioners and masques tho.

Dominique: That Briogeo is my fave deep conditioner. I use SheaMoisture JBCO or ORS Mayonnaise when I don't have it

Myeisha Thompson: I got on the rice water bandwagon and tried it out twice smh not my thing, I couldn’t hang. I do still use my Ayurvedic powders as glosses. I do a 1:1:1 with henna, brahmi and amla powder every other week and I love it. I’ve been doing it for about a year now. I still do my monthly hot oil treatments and Aztec Indian clay mask, don’t think I will ever stop that it’s like a reset for my hair. I have the briogeo deep conditioner in my stash that I can’t wait to use.

Scorpio Sting: Hi Kia ur da most beautiful, informative, straight forward, real, consistent, knowledgeable, person I seen and n u tube again gyrl u rock definitely and thk u just because ur u

Dominique UniqueNique: I don't subscribe to any of the 'popular' Youtubers. Most are in it for views and money and give out crap information and downright lies. I like your channel because you are realistic about your haircare and research thoroughly. You don't follow all these fads and are striving for your best hair and not someone else's.

Belinda Sanders: I still infuse oils mostly for winter hot oil treatments and to boost products that I'm not crazy about. I currently have amla, hibiscus, and moringa. Other than an annual henna treatment, I buy everything else ready made. Rice water was the devil on my normal porosity hair. Dumbest mistake ever on my part.

Katrina Lisa: I use to do the rice water treatment. But I had to stop cause my hair was growing but it was thinning my ends.. ‍♀️‍♀️

Samira J.: A trend I see is people investing in high end hair tools like the revair, or luxe hood dryers for at home use. Im looking to invest in a tool to maximize deep conditioning - I can't choose between a standing hood dryer and a standing steamer. I like the versatile applications of a dryer but I'm seduced by the idea of baby soft hair post steaming. What would you recommend? I feel like a hood dryer could really benefit my wash-n-go's too . Where would you recommend a little sis spend her coin?? Please chime in :)

CC H: I'm not into the trends. I enjoyed the chat. Thanks for some thoughts on Briogeo's deep conditioner. If you find it on sale...I would love to hear ur in depth review.

Selena is Morena Azucar: Have you or are you planning on trying the EZ detangler brush. I want to try it but I already have the Felicia Leatherwood brush and it's hard to imagine a brush working better in my hair but it is time for me to replace it with a new one some of my teeth have broken. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for taking the time to make such honest and informative videos.

I Mac: I'm not trendy, but I do like trying products. I think that is a trend that is dieing though, product junky is going away.

D: That likkle dinka dink sized pot could NEVER cover my whole head and you have longer hair than me loool I'm too heavy handed for that!

Irene Willis: Just to lazy for these trends don’t feel like dyi
