Black History Month - 100 Years Of Black Hair | Sephora

In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth, we’re throwing it back and looking at the past years of black hair trends—from the 1920s finger wave to the 1990s cropped look. Which trend makes you feel like ⚡ ?

Nombres, sweet go, go, go, go, go, oh, say, listen! Oh! No! No! No! No! Go! How you go low, low low, like spit it in a sinful phone. Get up. You see the dripping, I'm filling it up in my car and if Diddy and he's secured of my key, I get the bug.

Bathesheba Beautiful: Would really love to see Sephora do the same type of video on black makeup during these timeframes!

azure giant: That lineup in the thumbnail is so aesthetically pleasing. Each woman looks so different and beautiful. It makes me want to pick up some of my art materials and draw them

Brenna M: Love this! I’d also love to see something similar for 100 years for Asian hair/makeup

Prayon Kreutz: Half of that brought back A ton of Memories!! Can't wait to see what's in store for my next 50 years!!

Annesha Adams: This is okay. This could have been done better, I feel like alot of popular hairstyles were left out. the use of more full BLACK darker skin toned females with more 4c hair would be a good start. Also, don't forget black men, they had different influential hairstyles throughout the decades as well!

tchris3: Luv luv this tribute of different styles over the years that women of color rocked! Luv Sephora!

bran muffin: Happy Black History Month!

Erin DieHeart: This was cool, but, I feel like darker skin tones was left out of the decades .... also not everyone had fine hair... I felt like true 4c hair was missing... maybe add a second video displaying a variety a shades and hair textures throughout the video ... and not just throw a few darker people in the end. ‍♀️

Aleeza Butler: This is awesome

Taradise34: OMGGGGGG I love my sisters

CayLee.J-Ru Bun: Beehive should be in 60s, while Afro should be in 70s

Patrick: I'm glad for this but shouldn't you have credited Allure's video from 2017? This seems really directly derivative. They covered more material though and more in depth.

xLoveMeHarder: Stylish from the beginning!!!

Jessica Neeley: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ms Brighton: Since this was Black History, you should have more different shade of Black Women. So show Our True Beauty! Please put more effort, thank you.
