Hi beautiful today's video i'm going to be attempting this tick, tock hairstyle. Of course it's not from tick tock. It is my hoop falling out hold on. It is reminiscent of like diana ross, like pam greer in my head, fort, fair faucet for the whites you know. So yeah we're doing this. Nice 70s inspired hair based on the tik tok trend. Let'S go ahead and follow the tick tock to see how she did it and how i will do it just trying to keep watching. If you into this, i feel like a badass. Madam, i feel like i got hella hoes, i'm feeling fine thanks gon na keep watching. If you wan na know how i got this look, all i got ta say is, and you already know who it is. Hopefully you've seen the intro. This video and my hair looks great. I don't know how it's going to go, i'm going to try the tic toc trend of like the 70s. I am not in the center hold on here's the center of like the 70s, like fair faucet, like blown out just like hair, you know so. Here'S the girls, tick tock right here, watching a tick tock. This is us and we're watching this take talk together. Look at her go she's doing her over there ain't she wow. I don't know how long it takes out yet so i'ma just cut me the off whenever that's done. Okay, basically, she just curls her hair forward with a little flat iron and um. That'S it! But someone on twitter posted a screenshot of her hair and how it's cut. I think that's the most important part. That'S my phone right here. I can't even see, i think, that's the most important part of the whole is just how her hair is cut. So let me go find that and it's like a choppy babe like a nice fringe and then like layers like harsh layers, so we're doing some harsh layering today we're cutting the out of this hair. So i have a wig from cruella morella where ella them. I got away from them 13 by four transparent lace, maybe hd it's giving me transparent, though transparent lace um. I think it's a natural way, i'm not sure how long it is, but it is probably going to get cut, probably like about four inches like all. This will probably go just so that the hair can curl to its best ability, and we just have a great time now. We'Re going to zoom through the install the install portion is not really what we're here to do. You know we're just here to try this style to attempt this look. I'Ve been want to do this. Look for a very long time, i'm glad it's so sunny outside, like i'm really not gon na be out there take pictures, but it's fine, like i don't know, i'm not! That'S not we're here today we're here to get this style, so i'm gon na make this a really quick, install use my boho liquid gold. If you're looking for a detail tutorial on how to use my boho liquid gold go check out the two twists and um two pieces in the front, i did it there so in this portion, we're just gon na zoom to this and get the wig on once. We get the wig on, we can get started with the style. Also, you know the drill, i'm using my eben tinted lace, spray in light, warm brown, so the wig is secured. I just did a light. Plucking of this wig this week did come pre-plugged. So i didn't have to do too much extra plucking and i figured since the style was like not necessarily showing off the hairline, that it wouldn't be too bad. But this is what we have so far so now so now, i'm just gon na go ahead and part my hair in the middle, i'm not gon na go ahead and just like define the part, but i do want my part to be in the middle. So i can begin cutting my layers so now i have my my very half-assed middle part. I don't want anything too crazy because i don't want to be too defined this. This style is meant to be loose like flowy, so not too crazy, so yeah, it's just getting really choppy. I just think i'm gon na really cut some bangs right here yeah. I think i can just do my hair super choppy and then hers is cut to like her shoulders. So i'm probably gon na cut mine to like about right here, cut about like four inches off the hair, so i'm gon na actually do that part. Now i'm gon na cut the four inches off there. So a little rough blunt choppy cut, that's what we got going on so far. You see how it's just so yeah and i don't have like a really defined blow either. I really just wanted it to be. Like just flowy now that the hair is cut, i'm gon na begin cutting the bangs. I remember in like um the slate by jordan video he was doing layers in this is how we cut the bang. It'S a different type of bang, but i'm gon na just keep these same. Like steps come upwards and then i don't want these to be too hot too long. I need to be about right here, so i am going to cut backwards. I'M not! No! I ain't! No licensed cosmetologist now i just do what i see people do so i'm just going like this. Oh, that was perfect. That was actually really perfect. Okay, cubby bang, chubby bunny. I could make it a little shorter, but we're going to do a lot of cutting and trimming as we go. I don't want to start too short just so that um, if you cut the too short, then it's just too short and then it's gone. So our goal here is to cut mindfully and with purpose, so i'm gon na go ahead and cut this um cut this way to the side and we actually just grab a little portion. I did get cut it, so i can know where the layers begin on each side side and then now we're going to go with hard layers um to match up with this one, maybe even a little higher. I am just going to take my shears and go at a diagonal layers, and then we got layers and then we take the next layer and just keep layering yep. I think this is giving what it needs to give. Okay, i'm just gon na do some more layers past the front and all around, and i'm just gon na keep layering. That'S all i got getting some real sheers has been like the best investment. I think, because it's just it's so much easier to cut like the the process itself is just so smooth, so i really recommend getting some shears if you're going to cut your hair like this giving layers over here. This is the part i haven't cut yet and layers keep layering keep doing my thing keep grabbing sections and just going in the layers. I see that this is kind of layering the way i need it to so. I'M going to put this section aside and keep layering underneath it. So, let's check up on what this side is. Looking like giving very much layered hello layers, i mean so many layers. I am going to obviously keep cutting and touching up on things but um before i move on to the other side and just speed through that side, because i thought i'm really getting the gist of everything over here. I am going to go ahead and cut this bang one more time at a little bit lower. I was being careful last time, but now we can go a little lower, so yeah. I think this is about the gist of what i'm going for um. I may have to cut, but i don't want to have to cut too much. I do remember that there is going to be a fat ass, curl right here. So in my head. I'M just imagining this like this and i'm feeling like that's enough to make that happen. Here'S the layering for this side - i don't know if you guys, can really tell due to it being dark hair, but there's a lot of layers going on in here. So i think i'm like layered out for now. I'M scared to cut too much so we're going to stop. So now we can go over the tick tock where she's curling her hair and she teaches us what to do she's doing a little flat flat arm crew. That'S it, this seems pretty easy, so we can watch the part two of the front portion when we get to that first portion, but i'm pretty sure it's just the flipping of the curling iron. So let me get all this hair on my body and my nail. Just with it, my nail just lifted my nail just lifted my nail just lifted my nail appointment ain't until tuesday. I don't know what i'm gon na. Do it's doomsday. What am i gon na do with this? I don't know. Okay, anyway, let's let's curl, i'm gon na glue. My down. First, though my nail is back on, let's get to curling, she said she starts at the bottom, so we're gon na start with the bottom said she did small sections. Where about this big? I think it's a little layer and we're gon na leave that separate about this big. I got this flat iron from uh tj maxx. It was like 24., it's a little digital uh, titanium plate flat iron. I realized it's supposed to record this video yesterday and i got online my makeup and everything just recorded this video went to a little flat. Iron came back, took a fat, ass nap didn't do the video, but now here i am my new flat iron next day. Doing this so yeah, i guess where to find out how the floor line works, and she said she just does a little i'm, assuming that the long ones are going to be different than the the uh okay, that that wasn't it. We gon na leave it like that. Let'S see what the little one does, let's see what happens with this one? I play mine's looking different than hers, but he can keep we keep going. I mean this flip. Look like it's doing something, so we could just. We will just keep yeah all right. Let'S, let's speed through this, i'm going to keep doing the same. Flip flip flip emotions. We need to talk watch the next talk, let's get started. I just want to say really quick before we keep going um that this sebastian shaper has been on my mind for years, shout out to sociology, because she is the one that put me on to this. I'Ve never got it before. I just seen the ltd max um when i got the spot on, and i was like this is this the hairspray sophia was talking about so i bought it and now it's mine, so i'm gon na spray a little bit of it on the curls that i've Done so far on this side, because i just wan na make sure that they retain their shape and also i'm kind of scared about brushing them out and stuff. So a little bit of hairspray and also this hair is naturally like wavy and i'm sure that that that's going to help hold these curls as well. But i also have no idea what's going to brush this out. So, just you know a little precaution and i heard some really good hairspray, so, yes, fashion, shaper um. This is the hairspray that you make for eight dollars. My hair is all curled, i'm seeing the vision on this side, not so much on this side. I'M gon na give it a spray i'm seeing it. We can watch the part two to the tutorial on how she does her hair. Now these two little sides with pieces like this in the front, i probably should watch it first and then pull it away from my face. Mommy, maybe it'll be mine. It right. Let me do that. I'M running out of time, but all i do left is just take all of this brush it forward and curl it forward. I wonder where she from i'm sorry: okay, she didn't, she didn't try to brush it through or anything, but the other technology brushing it through. So i'ma just assume that i can just do this boom section calm it down whatever okay, i'm excited, i'm excited! Ah, okay, see they put on my downfall. My hot cone not turned on i'll come back. I can't see what the i'm doing. Oh, but it's looking like something. Oh, i tried to do this a few videos ago, but i just guess i didn't know how to do through, but now here i am doing it shout out to girl okay. So now i guess it's time to do the brushing portion. I guess our own brush is dirty as it. I guess, um, i'm scared. It seems like she just burst her hair down and then um you know, does a little hair flip. It'S not doing the same thing, but it's trying to it's trying to do something, so i'm gon na keep going. Oh, that was different. Oh i'm so excited the more the more i brush it out into the thing that she had. It makes me more and more excited she just did a little flip, so hair upside down. Okay. So now i'm gon na really, like flip the out of my hair. Now i'm gon na, like give it my all and just hope that this is beautiful. Okay, here we go put my hair again, i mean i'm i'm head banging right now, but i look beautiful no like what is the secret i'm about to get myself apart. I don't think i got the same. She did somebody's gon na give me a parting call. Today, because yes so here's time for part because yeah i tried to do it the way she did, it's not really working out, we getting a part of this just a little bit for some size for some shape. Maybe that's just not for me and that's okay. We could try something different, i'm gon na keep playing around in it. I don't know how much longer i'm gon na be doing that. So i'm gon na stop recording this, but i'm pretty much doing the same thing. I'M doing right now over and over again just making sure that, like things, look right so yeah, i'm gon na keep touching up things i'll be back when i'm done touching up things with the final like end result: okay, okay! This is what we're looking like. I am in love, i don't think i'll have like the loose effect that hers had mine is more tight and put together, but either way like i'm, really feeling it. I did have this vision a long time ago, when i did that brown unit. I wanted it to look like this and it just didn't look like this, but here i am here. I am shout out to the white girl, groovy male. I think her already shout out to you group email, because i would have just never known it's so hard to like find out how to do styles like this, because you know they're, not you know as as well known anymore, so it was really nice to have Like a direct tutorial from her so shout out to her shout out to her, i feel like i look like i am a a madam, a man i feel very mad at mitch, like i got holes all my hope, falling out, whoo the bigger the hoop, the More the hose you got if you want to get pimped out by anybody, would have to be by me like, wouldn't it i just like the sweetest pimp ever here's the look, i feel beautiful. I'M really hurt that, like i'm, not gon na go nowhere like this. Okay, i'm gon na go ahead and get out of here thanks so much for watching um shout out to ruby mal. I think that's what tic tac user name, if that's not how to take top your name you'll see the top on the screen. Yeah! That'S all! I got thanks for watching i'll see my next video bye, beautiful you

themoderndiva: I love this whole entire look omg you bodied this I really like the tight curls I can’t wait to do this

Suzette Horst: Go ahead and “OK Boomer!” now, but the easiest way to do this is to go ask your grandmother if she was in high school in the mid 70’s for her hot rollers and 1” barrel curling iron. If you’re using the curling iron, you curl layers on the sides away from your face. If you use hot rollers, set the front side layers curling away from your face, then set the other rollers so the curls flip under and not over when you take them down. That flat iron makes the whole thing harder than it needs to be to get a round curl because of the shape. Ask your grandmothers for help. So THE SECRET is to use hot rollers 1” in diameter or a curling iron with a 1” - 1.5 inch round barrel. And it wasn’t just white girls. We chocolate girls did it too, but you had to press or relax your hair first and THEN curl it. And all the girls (no matter what race) brought a curling iron to school for touch-ups in the bathroom at lunch. What you did was a good start, you were just using the wrong tools.
