Hey guys, here's an easy way to get fluffy elongated curls that look natural without using heat or curling tools. This method will use a technique called cocooning ever heard of it yeah. I didn't invent it, but it's kind of a cross between a bantu knot out and pin curls. Let'S get started so for big fluffy hair, I'm starting on old stretched, textured hair, an old twist out, braid out or stretched wash and go will work perfectly now. I'M splitting my hair into six workable sections, two front sections and four back sections working from back to front will work on one section at a time: grab a small portion of hair from that section and clip the rest out of the way. Rema is the dry hair with the light spritz with water, then using my homemade shea butter cream or your favorite styling cream, massage the product into the hair working from ends to root after the products applied it'll, be easier to finger detangle so go ahead and work Out any tangles or knots next, I'm gon na twist the section using my favorite method, which is outlined in my twist out 101. Video click, the link, if you missed it, this method helps to separate small sections, as you twist so they're, nice and sleek and less frizzy so twist, the hair all the way down and when you get to the end, give it a little twirl to activate the Curl, okay, the cocooning method place your two fingers as high up near your roots as possible, then wrap the twists around your fingers. Let the twist go then wrap the twists around itself repeatedly until there's almost no twists left to wrap with that last piece of twist or the tail place it between those two fingers and pull your fingers out of the loop with the twist. You should now be holding a small tail end on one side and a loop around your fingers on the other, take carefree fingers and push the wrapped hair or cocoon downward to lock the hair in place, and that's it give the hair a twist at the roots. So they don't freeze up and bobby, pin them in place. Confused, don't be I'll, show it to you again in a close-up soon. So when you're done with your first cocoon grab another section and repeat the same process, spritz with water work in some shea butter cream or your favorite styling products from ends to route finger. Detangle then, twist up the section when you get to the bottom twirl the ends to finish it and activate the curl place, your two fingers as close to the roots as possible then wrap the twists around your fingers. Let it go then, twist the hair around itself until there's, only a bit of the tail left place the end between your two fingers and pull the twist through to create a loop on one end and a short tail on the other, with your fingers still holding The tail end and your other finger hooked into the twist creating a loop push the cocoon down onto that loop to lock it into place then twist the hair at the root and bobby pin it in place. So it doesn't freeze up so just repeat this process. All over your head and medium-sized sections: okay, since we're at the front now, let me show you this method, one more time and let's get real close place here. Two fingers as close to the root as possible, wrap the twist around your fingers then wrap the twists around itself. When there's only a bit of tail left place it between your two fingers and pull it through. Now you should have a loop on one end, a small tail on the other. Don'T let go yet now push that wrapped, cocoon hair downward to lock everything in place. Then let go, give the roots alight twist and bobby, pin in place. So now the whole head is done. It'Ll, look something like this satin scarf and bed it's the next morning and first things: first, remove all those bobby pins. Now the fun part unraveling, the cocoons. All you need to do is find the tail end sticking out and give it a pull and the cocoon pops open, revealing a nice spiral twist so just untwist the hair to reveal beautiful, fluffy and natural-looking curls. Repeat this all over your head pulling on that tail and to release the cocoon then untwisting, the hair, big fluffy curls that look super soft and natural from a method called cocooning. I love the way this came out. I'Ll definitely be experimenting with this technique more so I hope you guys enjoy it, and I really hope it helps I'll see you later check out the latest from my second channel
