It'S such a drastic difference, especially the underarms, i'm telling you i grow hair. So literally the difference is so dramatic. I was so impressed. The hair was just falling out: hey y'all, it's your girlfriend, elia! Welcome back to my channel. Thank you. So much for tuning in make sure to like this video, because it helps other people to see the video and make sure to subscribe, because we have awesome content on this channel today, i'm going to be coming to you guys with a review on laser hair removal. Yes, you guys, i decided to do laser hair removal. As you know, you guys saw my channel when i did the first brazilian wax and by now you've probably already seen the video, if not go, check the video where i talk about full body waxing in general, which i did after my first brazilian and how that Process went for me, but i decided to go ahead and try laser hair removal, because i kept on hearing about it and i did my research and it seemed like something that would be beneficial for me. So the price point for laser hair removal varies, but it gets a little pricey on, but what i did in particular was i went on groupon and i found a groupon for my area for a reputable laser hair removal place. I knew about this place. I knew it was good celebrities and stuff they'd be going there. I looked for a place that seemed like i wouldn't have any long-term defects or problems. I just didn't want a bad situation to come out of me doing laser, because i mean, for goodness sake, it's laser, even just talking about it was kind of a little bit scary, a little bit, i'm talking about like put put a laser on my body. What am i doing, but the possibility to have less hair growth overall was very alluring to me because i want to say i'm a hair girl, but you know i definitely be growing hair on my body. Pretty you know pretty quick, so i wanted something that could kind of slow it down and make it easier. So i don't have to shave often or i wanted that in between stage of my waxes. I didn't. I just didn't want that. You know what i mean. I was like it just would make more sense and would just be better for me instead of paying that money monthly, i thought to myself. Why don't i just try to do something where i barely have to to do it, where it's not going to be. I have to do this every time where there will be some sort of long-term effect right so reason i decided to do. Laser was because i wanted to not long term have less hair just grow less hair overall, so that it was kind of like a financial investment versus something this that was just gon na, be like routine and i still grow the same amount of hair and everything Like that, so the possibility to grow less hair, i'm like all right bet. Let me try this and i was looking online and i was worried at first because i'm like i don't know, but is this good for black people, because my skin, you know melanated skin - is a little bit different. So i was trying to see what lasers they should use. I went ahead and i checked the actual place that i found the groupon for and to see whether they had the laser. That was good for my skin right and they did - and i also like did my own research on like good laser for black skin and everything like that and just looked up different people's experiences just to see and to make sure that it would be okay. For me to do like that is like a three. It is four uh, it's tolerable. It hurts, though, but it's taller the area, okay, that you know about use that what no no tattoos there's an attached to the roof out of 10 years. Five are attached to the roof. Those are getting treated today, yeah because the laser heats, the hair, the ones that are attached to the roof, get to destroy or we're weak in the room yeah. So we don't really want to kill the hair, we're trying to kill the roots yeah, that's how you have to shave, so it cuts the hair and there's hair underneath the follicle yeah we're not transparent. We don't see it, but that's why? Okay, that's why you know whacking gotcha that pulls the hair from the roof. So the neighbor says oh she's, hair free yeah did he use for the whole leg? Oh yeah, yeah, okay, gotcha! That'S it yeah! So i use either the same or i go up or i change it: okay, okay, it's way better than the lower leg, the lower leg that one yeah that one is less taller feeling more and more narrative; okay, so it ended up being i'll. Put the price point here, but it was a significant difference with my groupon, but it's in the hundreds right, but it was for six treatments and for they have like different deals like whether it's for like a large area, extra large area on your body or small Area so you get to choose what part of your body want to do. So i decided that i wanted to do my brazilian area and my underarms and they had a package deal for that, the brazilian underarms. So i went ahead and i got that to start off with and then i ended up getting another groupon for a different location for my full legs. So i've been doing that. So at this point now i am on. I want to say my fourth or my fifth, i think i'm on my fourth or my fifth treatment for my underarms and brazilian and then i'm going to be on my fourth. My next treatment will be my fourth for my full legs, because i started first with the underarms and the brazilian, and then the legs came after so anyways. I will say that my in terms of the actual experience, so i went to the place literally gorgeous beautiful, very ugh. The aesthetics were amazing there. So i'm like okay, all right all right. Customer service was great. I saw the laser and it was kind of intimidating at first to look at, but i was just like. Let me take a deep breath, so i seen that some people use lidocaine to numb themselves beforehand. I have never done that and they didn't my particular laser hair removal place did not provide any sort of like gel to put on on first before they put on the laser or anything like that. I went ahead and i took the pain and let me just describe the pain for you. I heard people talk about like it's like a rubber band, be exact with the rubber band or something like that, and it's kind of like that to me it it hurt. Yeah it hurt me, it hurt me, and this is somebody who had a first brazilian wax had their first brazilian wax and was like. Oh, this is not that bad. So for me personally, i don't know comment down below because i haven't heard anybody else say this to me: laser hurts worse than wax yeah! Oh my goodness, like i don't know if it's i'm in my head about it. But honestly i was in my head about waxing because people make it seem. I don't know for some reason. I don't know what i was getting influenced by, but it just seemed to me that waxing really hurts for people. Laser hurts more. It definitely hurt me more and i was just like, but i realized it's very quick, though the thing with that the laser is it's like this done with your underarms underarms did not hurt that bad. I would say that when they get kind of like in the little pocket in your underarms, then it can get a little bit more sensitive, but it doesn't really hurt brazilian, yes, yeah yeah resilient. It hurt and it hurts more when you tense up, and i think that is probably it as well when i'm relaxed, because you know i've gotten a couple treatments now when i'm relaxed i'm good. But i remember one time: the first time you had her and then another time in particular in particular, where i was super stressed it was just like. Ah you know what i mean mentally. I just like you know, and then the lady even told me she was like breathe and she wasn't saying it because i was in so much pain, but she said she could tell. I was tense because she leads like meditations and breath, work and stuff like that. So she was just trying to help me relax. You know what i mean it wasn't like. It was so painful, but it's just like, but it hurt it wasn't so painful, but it definitely to me it hurt a little bit the little zaps it's like something's happening, but it's very quick. So you just have to not get in your head about it and what i noticed that helps me, and i noticed this when i was uh getting my legs done, because i will say for the legs my thigh area. No, it doesn't hurt at all honestly my lower leg area. It hurts a little it doesn't. I don't want to say hurts, but it's a little more, it's more painful like it's a little more painful. It'S not like terrible pain, but, like you, i feel the zaps more i'm like and um. I noticed that when i talk to the person doing it about something else, it helps me get my mind off of it and it helps it go back quicker and it doesn't hurt as much um. I don't feel it. I don't feel the pain as much, but i also i don't know if i'm getting used to it as well, though so that could also be the case uh but yeah it doesn't. It doesn't feel as painful when i'm talking to the person, while they're going ahead and doing the laser on me. So there's that so i would say the most painful would be the brazilian. But it's not so bad though it's pretty quick if you can just not get in your head because i'd be getting in my head. It won't be that bad. But to me it's worse than waxing in my opinion, but i'm noticing, as time goes on the more and more i'm doing it like last time i got my brazilian underarms done and the most recent time that i got my legs on it didn't hurt as bad. So maybe i'm building up tolerance for it or i'm you know - or maybe i don't know, because i'm thinking that they do pump up the intensity on the laser each time like you come in, i'm not 100, i don't know, but it i i don't know it's Not as bad for me uh so that i would say that is good about it, but definitely wanted to share that with you guys, because i feel like people are talking about it, doesn't let waxing hurts more and to me, no laser bothers me more than waxing. So so at this point i have done five treatments in my underarm and brazilian area and i've done four treatments on my full legs and i will say that the pain level is pretty low. I i don't really feel much, i feel the zap, but it doesn't hurt me like how it used to so. I can attest that the more you go. I guess your threshold for the pain increases or it just does not hurt as bad in general on your skin. I don't know, but i can categorize it like, probably less painful than a wax. I feel it, but it doesn't really hurt the same. If that makes sense, i try to time it around four weeks um when i go for my laser treatments, so they said that, like around six or nine really nine, so what i heard is around nine. That'S really when you barely the hair growth. Is not that much. You know, but they said everybody is different, but i will say for me that first brazilian and underarms, i will say that literally and she told me within two weeks, the hair just starts shedding and it has made such a dramatic difference in the way. My the hair on my body grows like my underarms. They don't grow hair as much. My brazilian area doesn't grow hair as much literally the sides. Okay, so this is here we go. This is the brazilian area, so these sides were the first area like that. Bikini area was the first area where the hair, just like bye, bye. You know what i mean like i'm, not saying it never grows now, but it grows differently and, like freaking, 80 percent lighter it's a such a drastic difference, especially the underarms. I'M telling you i grow hair. I i'm one of those type of girls that i grow hair. So literally the difference is so dramatic. I was so impressed. The hair was just falling out. It was just shedding you know, and then i noticed that when it was time for me to go to the next appointment, mind you i'm not even shaving in between when it was time for me to go to next appointment for my underarms, i hadn't shaved at The time and it's just like a certain patch they're, just patches of hair, now growing and then some areas are the hair's just gone. So it was so cool so and as time progressed, it's just like less and less actual thick hair is growing and it's more lighter and then there's also for the brazilian. It starts to get patchy. Now the hair starts to shed, and it's growing now patchier, like some areas growing some areas, not it's really cool, i'm very impressed. The most drastic and quickest difference was in my armpits. So if you want to just go ahead and do that and because that part doesn't even hurt really like i didn't, i barely felt you feel it, but really not really not really when it comes to lasering your underarms. So if you want to go ahead and do that first perfect brazilian area very, very worth it my legs, yes, i have noticed a difference with my legs. I will say i shave my legs more often, but i barely have to i put it's not really. You know it's not giving that i barely have to shave my underarms really now it's a significant difference like now. I have to shave now, but it's lighter, so my underarms they're naturally dark, but there is hair now, but look at how light it is, and this is me having not shaved my underarms for a month. It'S it's light. Normally, oh, my goodness, you guys, i couldn't you kidding me. I could never lift up my arms. Are you? Are you crazy? No, but you can see like yes, i am a girl who grows hair, so you're gon na see that there is still hair here but drastic difference. It would have been like so much hair hair before, but it's different and it's lighter my underarms dope do keep in mind they're, naturally darker under, but there's really really not even that much hair hair, and i have noticed that actually fairly recently. I think it's because of like the supplements and uh vitamins and stuff that i've been taking. I have been growing a little bit more hair this time around literally just this month, because i think it's it's the extra supplement, i'm taking, but normally yeah. This wouldn't even really be here, but there's barely even anything here, so there is that so i'm definitely seeing the long-term effects. So how i rationalized it is, i don't mind now paying so much more money for to get laser, because at the end of the day, i'm actually getting long-term effects like my hair is not even growing the same way. It'S growing less. You know it's definitely making my life easier, so hey, so the best part is when the hair sheds after so obviously, you know right before your laser hair removal treatment. You have to shave right, you have to shave and then they'll zap, you with the laser, but i feel like my hair is the most smooth like that week or two after when the hairs just start to shed. You know i feel like that is when my hair is really super smooth. I like that you can shave in between. So you don't you know with waxing. You can't do that you're not supposed to at least but that way you can always stay trim, but i feel like it is the smoothest when, during that, like week or two after, when that some of the hair has shed so, yes, you guys comment down below. If you are doing laser hair removal treatments, let me know your experience with it. Uh if you've had any adverse effects, i have not had any adverse effects. As of now my mom was worried. She was like what are you doing like she thinks, i'm being lazy. Y'All - and i am because it's just annoying always having to deal with the hair like i want something long-term, so yes y'all, i will talk to you guys next time make sure to subscribe, because i'm going to do a video comparing laser and waxing to tell you Guys, the pros and cons of each and kind of help you guys decide which is best for you all right, i'll, see you guys next time, bye,
