Hair Relaxers Linked To Increase In Breast Cancer In Black Women/Skinglonafro

Now i wanted to talk to you today about the new um, the new information that has come out about hair relaxers, and i know people are going to say that there's nothing wrong with relaxing your hair and people should be feel free to do what they want. But okay, fair enough, but you need to know this information trust me because you know my channel by now. I will tell you this truth, please. So, basically, what has happened is public health. England, which is here in the uk. Um has released some information that black women who relax their hair more than seven times a year, their chances of getting breast cancer has will rise, basically rises. So, yes, let me say again: if you didn't hear me the first time, if you use hair relaxers more than seven times a year, your chances of getting breast cancer will rise now. The reason behind this is because a lot of these hair care products that are supposedly no lie are actually contained. Lye now light is what is causing all these problems with these hair relaxers, because light was actually supposed to have been gotten rid of years ago. You know they came up, you know was using it before light, hair relaxes and then they got rid of then they got rid of them and they came out with those in our lives. But, however, from the information i have gathered, basically, it's a lie that these products are no lie, and actually another thing that has also come out is that a lot of these products that are marketed here in the uk, towards black women or well, not just marketed Towards black women also contain lie, so yes, you know how i well, you know how i spoke before about ogx and how and how, in america, their products contain um contain formaldehyde. Well, here in the uk, a certain number of ogx shampoos contain lye um. Now you usually associate lying with hair relaxers, not that i not that i'm saying i agree with live beaming, hair relaxers, but that's not usually associated with i'm, not understanding why hair shampoo contains lye when it's not when it's not neutralizing shampoo, nobody is relaxing the hair With ogh shampoos, so why not? We already know that um, if you keep using hair relaxes over a long period of time, i'm talking years and years and years that your chances of contract, if your chances of um growing fibroids your womb increases. Now i will say that you know: fibroids doesn't need my family and it's also of no coincidence that um, my family members, who had her fibroids removed from their womb um, either via hysterectomy or whatever, and have also used hair relaxers in the past. And this is why i'm trying this is what i'm trying to tell people hair relaxers are not good for your health they're, not good at all the chemicals that they contain yeah. Can somebody explain to me why nf dark and lovely shampoo? You know that dark and lovely come out with a whole range of shampoos that are catered towards that cater towards um black coming with natural hair, because you know black women um a few years ago were turning away from hair relaxers and they said nope, i'm not Going to use this, what i'm going to do is i'm going to use natural hair products dark and lovely said. Aha people are no longer using people are no longer using her hair relaxes and the um. The sales of hair relaxers had dropped significantly, and now they decided oh yeah. Let'S come up with our own natural hair care line. You know the shampoos conditioners blah blah blah, so that's what they did and to come out to come out and find that there that their um natural hair care line contains lye, which is also in the hair. Relaxes is deeply concerning, because the light um is basically sodium hydroxide and it's not supposed to be used on your body. It'S not sodium hydroxide can burn through a steel door. So why are they selling us products that are that basically can burn from a steel door? Think about what it's think about what it's doing to your hair and your scalp and your body if it can burn through a sealed door and they keep saying that relaxing your hair is healthy. How is it healthy if it can burn through a still door? How is it healthy if it can do that to us door and still is one of the toughest metals so explain it to me? Please. It'S so deeply worrying that all these products are out in the market and it's no surprising that they're in those hair shops. I shouldn't have to say it, but yes, those hair shops, those hair shops, those hair shops. Why should i have to keep saying it all the freaking time have you ever noticed? You ever go into there into those hair shops and you notice how they've got a whole wide range of all these products and tell me why yeah, if these products are supposed to be sealed, yeah wise, i'm able to open them, and i can see - and i Can see the little plastic thing has been lifted up what the [ __ ] are they doing to our haircare products? That'S what i want to know what i know funny doing to our haircare products. There is a campaign group here in the uk. I'M i believe, are here in the uk that is called level up and basically, what they are doing is they are campaigning to um, get these harmful, get these harmful products off the market, and i support them 100 because, like i said a lot of these, a Lot of these products that you wouldn't even associate with lie contain life. I'M talking motion shampoo. I saw like emotions when they're dark and lovely dark and lovely and shampoo not to neutralize in shampoo just dust. The bug standard shampoo for your natural hair contains life, and you wonder why you wonder why your hair is getting them out and why? It'S not growing? It'S because they are putting it's because they're putting light into these products, even though it should not even be in there in the first place, and i honestly thought i honestly thought that here in the uk, we will support our haircare. Products are supposed to be more regulated, but apparently it's not - and this is just making me wonder what else is not regulated. What else is not regulated and, of course, of course, of course, johnson and johnson, like i mentioned in my other video johnson johnson, who owes ogx so not only are they putting formaldehyde in their products in america they are putting lye in their products. Here in the uk, yes, the ogx products here in the uk are containing lie now. I know what they said it, but i just had to. I just had to reiterate that, because johnson and johnson you were taking a piss now yeah, you are taking absolute piss. How many freaking times can you put people's health in danger before enough? Is enough like this is like this is not even for me to say, this is not even for me to say to black roman, do better and blah blah blah, but i just want you to be aware of what is going on, because your health could be At risk yeah, your health could actually be at risk. I mean, like i said, using hair relax using hair relaxes more than seven times a year, greatly increases your risk of of getting breast cancer. We already know the link between. We already know the link between them. Hair relaxes and fibroids, particularly within black women, we need we need to look. We need to truly look at the ingredients, see what they say and say you know what i'm not going to use that, because i'm not going to put my i'm not going to put my health at risk to support these white on companies who don't give a [ __ ] about black people. This is just a lot. This is just another form of genocide, they're trying to kill herself and they know they can because they think we're stupid and we're not. I want us to divest away from these products now, because it's too much yeah and i truly hope that this campaign group level up is able to get the uk government to enforce, enforce these rules and get them off the market because they do not need to Be on the market, they don't, and this is exactly what i said in my previous video - why i've why i've been more strict with using black owned products? On my and my body, i use shea butter or i use um. I use either shea butter or body butter from love, real naturals and my hair. I use i use tjn um anika naturals, lemongrass, leave-in conditioner, and to wash my hair i use uncle funky's daughter's wash day set and trust me uncle funky's daughter is pricey. So it's alike naturals and so is tjn, but at the end of the day i have to say that you know sometimes i got ta spend a bit more just so. I know that it's supporting a black on business and to make sure that my hair, that my hair and my body is absorbing when it's supposed to be absorbing. You know good good, clean products that are not causing harm instead of these products that are causing harm, and you know later down the line. That is when the problems will start to arise. I can't i can't take that chance anymore with my health, i'm 33 years old, i'm not getting any young guy. I can't take that chance anymore, so you know i shall like i did in my previous video. Do your due diligence, i mean i cannot force you to stop using hair relaxers, but at the end of the day, if i can, even if i can even convince one person to stop using them for the sake of the health, then i have done my job.
