Angela Day: Where can I get an "actual" high, skilled black woman's "Professional, precision cut" in or near Springfield, IL.? I have tried many places in the last 9 yrs. Not good, not at all. They double and triple book, take walk-ins over your scheduled appointment, you even show them cuts in books at their own salons, even ask them, can you do this, they all say yeah, I can do it. I always make sure my hair was much longer, than the requested style, therefore there's plenty of hair to work with. Afterwards, the style looks nothing like it and they totally jack your hair up. Uneven cuts, wrong rinse color, workers jump from head to head in the shops, they run out of products while styling your hair, Burn/singe your scalp/hair or face, even cut your clothes or ears!!!! Extremely, unprofessional all around. Please help! Tried wearing an afro, braided my own hair, wore wigs, even had cut off my hair from these disasters. It's hard for me to style my own hair, it's very difficult for me, trim or cut it myself, due to weakness in hands and arms. But, I do what I can, instead of spending over $80.00 and it's a disaster!
