Easy Half Up Half Down Hairstyle For Medium To Long Hair | Black Women

Hey guys welcome to my channel i'm brianna and today i'm going to be showing you this hairstyle. But if you follow me on instagram, then you've already seen it i'm using africa's best products in this entire video. First, i'm going in with the hair grease and just greasing up my scalp. Typically, when i'm doing a hairstyle, where my scalp is going to be showing i like to moisturize it and put some product on it, so that it can be shiny and moisturized. And there won't be any dry patches because i feel like that. Just messes up a hairstyle so to complete the front of my hair, i'm just going to part out these sections in the front. There'S going to be two on each side and one in the middle. I'M just doing these horseshoe parts and then i'm going to individually plant each section. So you just want to take your time, make sure they're, even and in the right space of your liking, and that you also take out enough hair so that you'll have enough. For a plait now i'm going in with the oil moisturizer and just moisturizing the length of my hair, and then i also go in with some oil and place that and then i just go ahead and braid. So you just want to be careful um when doing this process and make sure that you're braiding the plaque in the sec in the way that you want it to lay. So i was braiding up if that makes sense, because i wanted it to go up in a ponytail. So here i'm just going ahead, putting my top half of my hair into a ponytail and just make sure that you're using um a scrunchie that does not have the silver um part on it, because you don't want your hair pulling so yeah. I just put my hair in a ponytail, make sure it's pretty tight and i'm able to wrap my plaits around this. So you just want to wrap your plaits around the base of your ponytail. Make sure that it's tight so that they won't unravel - and you just want to keep doing this for each one until you get your desired look and i was going for more of a crisscross look if you guys um are seeing here so yeah just continue to Do this until you've done them all so next, i'm just going to take another piece from the ponytail and wrap this around the base of the ponytail, so that i can hide those braids and everything can look really good and sleek. So this is how it looks. Just with the ponytail - and it looks really good so far so i'm gon na go in with my orange flexi rods and ride my hair up. As you guys see, i am twisting, while i'm twisting so to get the kind of curls that i have you need to twist, while you twist, if that makes sense, hopefully you're like twisting the hair, while you're twisting it around the flexi rod. So you just want to continue to do this throughout your whole head and do the top portion as well and you'll get these super super nice curls. I did take my curls out a little prematurely, so my hair wasn't completely dry, so just make sure that your hair is all the way dry before you take these out, and this is the finished results you guys. I think this is a super cute and fun. Hairstyle, as you guys can see, i definitely pulled some inspiration from issa season five of insecure. She was rocking her different hairstyles and i really just pulled this front part from her and, of course i thought these super cute wand.
