FTC: This video is sponsored by amazingbeautyhair. com, but all opinions are my own! I only review products that I really like and actually use!

Because so we're gon na jump right in so the care that I'll be using for this video is from amazing beauty care, and this is the pamphlet that comes with it. You get a clip, some hair clips and a rat tail comb, and you also get a pamphlet telling you all about your ponytail or whatever you choose approach. This is their afro kinky, curly ponytail. I got it in two inches. It comes in natural black, and this is what it looks like straight out of the packaging. I co washed it with soil conditioner, and this is what it looks like now and I went ahead and apply some leave-in conditioner on to the ponytail. The ponytail is a hundred percent remy hair and it is a hundred grams guys. So it's a really really nice ponytail if it was really soft and everything this is about how much shedding I got so not bad at all. So now that the ponytail is out the way we're gon na let that air dry, I want to start on my real hair. So this is my hair, pretty much like stretched out from some braids that I had in, and so I'm just gon na part a section at the front of my head kind of like a large section, as you guys can see, I'm gon na go ahead and Clip the back section out of my way and then I'm just gon na spray, my hair with a little bit of water to loosen it up, and then I apply some pink lotion here, milk to my hair because it was feeling a little dry. So it's just up to you how your hair is and then I'm just gon na comb that first section out make sure I get all the tangles out before styling, and so I'm just gon na take my rat tail comb and part a section at the front And that's what we're gon na start, our rubber band design and I will be using some edge booster and I picked all of the blue and green rubber bands out of that pack and so yeah I'm using some of the edge booster pomade or edge control. Whatever you like to call it, and I'm just gon na start by applying a rubber band it there, I'm literally going to repeat the same step. I'M going to part that section and I'm going to add the front section into the back section. I play edge control around the base and I did use me for solid gel to connect and smooth the first section into the second section and that's how I got it to be really sleek and I'm just going to continue to repeat the same steps. But you can go ahead and detangle whenever you feel like you need to I'm done with that section. I'M gon na move to the other side I like to skip the middle because I like it to be as level as possible, and this works best for me and I'm literally going to do the same steps that I did on the other side. I am using a rental comb for parting purposes, so yeah yeah and then I just decided to do the green rubber bands on that side. So I'm kind of just like intertwining them. You can do yours. However, you would like I found that those rubber bands at my local beauty supply store. They have different colors, be sure when you're applying your rubber bands you're not putting them in so tight. You don't want them to pull at your hair and also, I know I'm probably gon na get questions on how to remove them. I literally just cut them out y'all and I don't have problems or anything so now. Moving on to the middle, I'm just going to part a square and then I'm gon na do a diagonal part. You can kind of like make it up as you go. That'S basically what I do when I do these styles and I'm just looking at my edges with the pomade. You know making sure it's sleek before I put it in there section all right, so I'm moving on to the next section. So I made a part and what I'm gon na do is do like a little crisscross switch over right there at the front, so I'm gon na cross the two. So I'm gon na pin the ones out of the way that I'm not using put the pomade down at the base and then smooth the ecostyler gel to connect them and connect them with the rubber band. So I thought that was cute to jazz it up at the front and I like using a color rubber bands because it brings another touch as opposed to using you know the black rubber bands. So, as you guys can see, I did a crisscross. Well, I did the crisscross at the front so now going forward, I'm gon na go ahead and continue the same steps that I did on the sides and just have it going straight back. I got the rubberband portion of the style is done, I'm literally gon na like pick my hair going outward because that's what we're going to position our ponytail, because we want to put you know the hair, that's speaking out of the rubber bands into the ponytail, I Am using the edge of booster styling gel for this style and I'm just going to smooth the gel a word on my hair. You want to know more about the gel. I do have a full review on this gel so make sure you click the link in the description box below to check it out, and then I'm just going to take my brush and smooth my hair going upward. I like this, Jo because it's so easy to work with, like it slicks your hair up so quick in no time. So I really like that. So I gather over here I'm just moving it up somewhere with my brush, just to make sure nothing is like sticking out or hanging out, but as you guys can see, it gets really really sleek and then I'm just gon na apply my ponytail holder and I, Like to use the thin one, because my hair is on a shorter side, so the thin ones - just I don't know they work better than the thicker ones, and so I'm just going to go back with a little bit more gel and smooth my hair up just To make sure everything is good, I know how I am about looking my hair all right and to finish it off. I went back in with the edge of booster Tommy and I'm just gon na lay my baby hairs down now. Y'All know this step is always optional. You do not have to do this, but I like to lay my baby hairs. I think it just gives a edit touch to the style. So that's just what I'm doing here once I got done doing my baby hairs. I went ahead and applied my scarf, and so I only left my scarf on for about 30 minutes. While I did my makeup yah, I did this style within the less than an hour, so I didn't sleep with the scarf on overnight. I know you guys are probably thinking that but know I did this style in one sitting. So, as you guys can see, my hair is super sleek and I'm gon na go ahead and apply the ponytail now. The point so does have a comb at the front. In the back - and it is HD drawstring as you guys can see, so it's really easy to apply. So I just went ahead and put my scarf back on, so I wouldn't get my hair frizzy while applying you know my ponytail and I'm just wanting to put the clothes in make sure they're not digging in myself and then wrap the drawstring around the base and Then I just want to hit into some open bobby pins and I just pinned it into place for extra security. But it's really really secure guys. And then I just took some hair from around the perimeter and I'm going to wrap that around the base, so that none of the drawstring or anything will be showing, and I just gathered my hair out of the way. So I could do that will gather the ponytail here out of the way so that I could do that. I started out done turning the points are into place. I just flipped out there here I didn't have any more products. I only added the leave-in conditioner, and this is what the ponytail looks like. This is how the hairstyle turned out. I think it looks so good. It'S super cute and I love how the ponytail matches with my hair. This style is so easy to do, especially if you need a last-minute style so make sure you guys check out amazing beauty, hair everything about them will be in the description box below the ponytail that I use today will also be linked in the description box below, As well make sure you guys use my coupon code, it will be in the description box below.
