How to prevent damage and hair loss.

First thing you have to remember, anything that you do to your hair, other than leaving it alone, could be damaging. It depends on the type of hair you have. Some people have strong hair; some people have weak hair. So just pulling it back in a ponytail could damage some people. So the best thing to do is to try to determine the strength of your hair.

Don't wear your hair too tight. Don't braid it too tight. Don't let anyone weave it too tight. If it's tight, let them know. Tell them, "It's too tight. Take it out. Do it again." If you see your hair pulling at the hairline, if it's painful, if you see blood, some people have done that, take it out immediately.

Also, wetting your braids just makes them tighter. Some people think that they can wet them to loosen them up, but it actually makes them tighter, so you can cause yourself more pain and more damage.

So the best way to not have any damage to your hair is to not braid it too tightly, not weave it too tightly. Don't put it in a ponytail too tightly. Try not to flatiron it too much. Try not to actually over-relax it. Never color and relax your hair. You cannot do a keratin treatment over a relaxer; remember that.

This way, if you keep these things in mind, you will minimize the damage or hair loss to yourself.

Blair Sullivan: HAIR LOSS TIPS THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE – SEARCH FOR THIS PERSON CALLED EDWIN DIAZ

Bubby U: If I was a woman I wouldn’t listen to this woman. She has fake hair on her head. I believe a great hairdresser can help people develop a beautiful and healthy head of hair. I have seen my sister go from nothing to full thick and beautiful hair that not processed. I was at the Essence festival and I noticed all of these black women walking around with wigs and weaves in 95 degree weather. It made me wonder why ? I have seen a black woman at work who’s hair is half an inch but she looks so soft, fresh faced and beautifully gorgeous. It’s time to let the fake hair go. It looks disgusting to have hair on your head that doesn’t go with your skin, culture and could have never come out of your follicles. We have so much damage as the people here in this hate filled and abusive Country. Whenever I see this women I also think of Whitney Houston. Whitney was this singer who could command any stage in the World. And here she had all of these gross people around her living this subculture lifestyle that lead to her death. I am not comparing them. But I saw all of the personnel working for Celine Dion. And I thought why didn’t Whitney have this type of career with dedication, professionalism, protection, selection, and high standards. It was because she didn’t have the healthy mindset with boundaries. If you’re on dope you’re going to have to have enablers around you and they are usually mediocre followers at best. It’s a cautionary tale but I digress. Black women you're beautiful and lovely and I understand you want to be loved.
