Hey beauties today we're going to be doing a quick weave on an alopecia client. My client is suffering from hair loss for medical reasons, we're gon na beautify her in no time so we're gon na start out by just trimming up her natural hair, we're gon na tape, her down the back and then we're gon na go through and give her A more sleek cut and trim off her dead in so that the hair she does have can continue to grow healthy and strong. Here you see, I'm just separating the bottom section from the top and I'm continuing to trim up her back kind of giving her a tapered look and I'm gon na do that around the bottom section. And then I'm gon na go from side to side again and just give her like a 90 degree haircut and again, whatever you do on one side, you just want to make sure that you're doing it on the opposite side, go and trim around her ears and Clean it up, I'm just holding the hair out at a 90 degree angle and cutting it off and we're just gon na do that around her entire perimeter area and again on this side. I'M doing the exact same thing I did on the other side, because, whatever you do on one side, you want to make sure you're joined on the other side. Okay right here, I'm just gon na go through and I'm gon na spray, her hair down with water. I'M just gon na miss her down with water. Of course, if she came in and her hair was already cut, we would skip this part because, right after the shampoo she would get set after you get her hair, nice and damp, then you're gon na go and with your setting lotion or mousse of choice. Of course, I absolutely love Nairobi, you're, just gon na take a handful of that and then you're gon na spread it evenly around the perimeter. We'Re just working around that bottom perimeter of her head from side to side and across the back. You want to evenly distribute this product and then you're gon na comb it through to completely slick those sides down, because we want this to cut to be really smooth and sleek along her perimeter right here. I'M gon na take the Eco styling gel. You can just find it at your local Beauty Supply and I'm gon na put this on her actual scalp, because I'm using this as a protectant, so I'm gon na put that on her scalp and smooth it also on her hair. Because, again, I'm using this as a protectant and I'm gon na smooth that around in a circular section, because I want to separate the top section from the bottom section. We'Re gon na be doing two separate things on the top. Then we're doing on the bottom. So you're gon na smooth that in and around in a circular motion, you'll, see me smooth it back out with the brush or any crinkles that may still be in the hair and this brush. I just got at my local beauty supply store, I think. Maybe it was a dollar or two dollars. Now I'm taking senex trips, you can also find that at the beauty, supply store and I'm gon na take two and I'm just gon na firmly hold those. It gets the back and wrap them towards the front. You always want to tie a knot in the front, never on the side or the back, because you don't want this to put a dent into that nice smooth sleek finish that you're going for all right, we're gon na start, gluing her tracks, I'm just measuring out Where I'm going to lay her track, you're gon na start at the left side of this outline anyway for this style, you start on the left side. I kind of curved the ends of the track back work see that curve there I curve it back, not just straight across. I curve the ends back and then I take it across to the other side when applying glue. You just want to place a small amount. You don't want too much, but you do need enough, and then you lay the track again following the outline swinging it from your left around to your right and then when we move to the second track and the track following you want to go from your left. Over to the right, you're gon na swing your right back a little bit more than you did your left, because this bang is gon na, be heavier on one side, so you're placing it right at the guideline on your left and you're swinging it over to your Right a little bit angled over a little bit further and you're, just basically repeating these steps all the way back. You just want to press the glue down into the cap and because she has no hair left out at the top. You want to make sure these tracks are placed close together and again we're just doing the same thing all the way until we get right above the occipital bone in the back and remember on the right side, you're not going straight across you're, taking it back. Just a little bit more because we're going to eventually end up putting this in an entire circle once we get to the back of this, alright there's our bond, so we're going to put in a few tracks of blonde. You always want to use white glue when you're using blonde extensions, so we're just putting that on there, but we're going to place the track in the same manner as we did for the black extension on the left side of your guide and swing it over to The right edit angle, you just want to press press the boolean again here, just placing the track and swinging it back and an angle make sure guys if you haven't liked the videos already be sure to LIKE and subscribe and right here, I'm giving you a view Of how I've been telling you to swing your tracks around at an angle on the right side, because the bank will be a little heavier on that side. Alright, we're going to clip that hair out of the way and keep moving on this one. I made the track a little shorter because we were running out of space on the left-hand side, so I just made this one: a little shorter started in the middle and swung it around and now this is the circle that I was telling you about so now, With this track, we're going to take it to meet around to the other track in the back and we're going to start going around and laying the tracks in a circle, and this is what is going to cover up this entire style, this back section so you're. Just going to go around in a circle, sometimes the circle can start to get a little lumpy just because of the tight space you're trying to squeeze the tracks into you can always cut the tracks and pieces are going around if you need to just practice and Whatever is the most comfortable for you just keep pressing as you take it around in a circle and we're just gon na do that until we have a tiny, tiny hole back here and then I'm going to show you how we're how we will roll the track Up in a circle shape now right here, I'm just putting a little heat on the tracks to make sure that they're firm that they're down before our places, those small circles, those you're inside all righty. On this part, I just took a small piece of a track. I rolled it around, I put glue on the track and then I rolled it around and made a circle, and I'm gon na squeeze this in the middle of that circle that we've made so you're just gon na place glue on it and press firmly inside the Circle, you're gon na put pressure on it, want to make sure that it's really secure. You would want your client to be out and then her closure just falls out. So you'll see me pressing and applying pressure and just making sure it's really firm. All righty. Now we're gon na start cutting. I do like or prefer to use a razor on the shorter parts of hair I feel like it just makes it look more natural, and so the parts that swung over to the left we're going to blend that in with her real hair, just raising down in A downward motion, you're shaping it and whatever style, that you're going for for us we're doing short natural look on one side and a heavy bang on the other side, I'll do several cutting techniques. This is a slithering or sliding shear technique cutting technique, and then this is point cutting. So I do all types of techniques, whatever I think will work for that particular style and I always take the hair in sections. You always want to work in sections and follow your guide so I'll. Take that section and slide cut for my guy down. Do what is comfortable for you. You have to get really comfortable with the shears and if you have a really good cut, it doesn't need to be curled or anything, and you can still see style in the cut if you have a really good cut. So she loves lots of layers. So here were point cutting to make sure the ends. Aren'T really blunt. I'M gon na swing the hair over to the other side and cut that's gon na make heavy layers at the top just going through and kind of cleaning. This cut up all righty guys. Now I'm taking my half inch flat iron, I do use the soleus e shape and we're just going through and we're kind of bumping our hair, the flat iron is always my tool of choice. I rarely ever use the actual curling iron anymore. You can use this flat iron to do just about any style that you need. If you see I'm taking the hair and just kind of bumping it over. It'S all in the flick of the wrist you can curl with this flat iron, you can bump hair. You can do so much with the flat iron and you're just gon na continue curling. Following the pattern of the hairstyle you're trying to create again on one side, we will have a heavy bang, that's gon na flow backwards. So that's the way that I'm curling the hair going backwards away from the face in some areas. I am bumping it a little tighter just to create the heavy layered. Look, that's something that my client really loves. Stylist, if you don't offer services for alopecia clients, I do suggest that you add that as a service on my service list, I do offer the service as a private one-on-one session, and it's something that's really greatly appreciated by the client. Now you will notice that when I style the hair and when I curl, I always work from the top going downwards, which for most dollars is kind of backwards. They generally work from the bottom going upward, but I love to see the style as it's coming together. So that's the reason why I work from the top and goes downward, as I'm curling you'll notice, that each hair that falls, I'm laying it in the place that I would want it to be when the style is done, and that's just setting that curl in that Particular pattern again: curling swinging the hair away from the face, because that's the direction that this hairstyle will flow and if you need to go back in and make adjustments, you can always do that and we have come to the end of the style. This is my favorite part when you can kind of comb it out and bring your fingers through. It you'll see me rake it to the front and then swing it over to the side. Thank you guys so much for watching this tutorial. If it helped you at all, please like and subscribe, if you have any comments or questions, leave them below and I'll be sure to get back with you. You

Eclectic Treasures: You are a professional and truly set yourself apart a from a lot factory shops. May you have Prosperity Queen!

Keto Cause we fat: I absolutely love that you offer 1-on-1 private sessions a lot of stylist don't do this. I have alopecia & hv a hard time w/my husband seeing it yet alone a whole shop!! #blessings #yasss #confidencewithoutcompromise

Kountrys Queen: I wholeheartdly appreciate you mentioning doing your alopecia clients privately as a sufferer of alopcia it is very sensitive and private as well as embarrassing so thank you for being so considerate of your clients feelings

TeaTime WithMax: I love this as it’s already hard enough to admit you have it. I have suffered in silence for so many years and I am terrified to go to someone else to get my hair done. I do my own hair with doors closed and no one around. This makes me want to find someone to do it and just get over that fear of being embarrassed. I love u for this girlie

Argie Johnson: Simply gorgeous! And I love that even though she has alopecia, you still take measures to protect the hair she has left...bravo!

SheezaDiamond: You did a great job sis! It’s good that you’re focusing on helping people with Alopecia. Even if people aren’t diagnosed, they still suffer from terrible hair loss over the years and poor maintenance. These videos are very much needed. Keep up with your tutorial style. Blessings.....

Hillary Roy: Your work is amazing! I had long, strong hair until I started taking meds for high blood pressure and thyroid pills. My hair would come out in clumps in the sink. I was devastated. Being able to be comfortable for yourself and your own well-being is important. Thank you for doing the great work you do without judgement. Many suffer and get tired of the hecklers at salons not knowing why your hair is the way it is. So thank you. May God keep blessing your hands and your business.

Katrina Bragg: Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It has been very helpful for me to style clients with hair loss issues. Your voice is very pleasant and easy to listen to, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow and the technique was fairly simple. Please continue your tutorials, especially for clients with hair loss or hair damage. Your expertise is much needed and appreciated. Last but not least, the finished product was fabulous!!! I look forward to seeing more videos soon. GOD Bless!!!

Berlinda F. Clark: Love this video. I have had alopecia before they knew about alopecia; had my first wig when I was in third grade and I am now in my sixties. You are to be commended for thinking about your clients with alopecia. Great job!!

Louise Burton: Just loved the tutorial..I've had this Condition for years..Unfortunately when it happened it was not a technique that was very familiar with stylists and I lost my healthy hair due to the unfamiliarity of the Condition..Love your work and the fact that you are willing to do it on a one on one basis...Just loved the closure...

Focus 1: I love it. Need more hair stylist who facilitate clients with this problem

Valencia Taylor: Hi Lena B, I thank you for having this service for your clients like me. It means so much to have someone take care of your hair. I'm thankful to have wigs, but woemen like our hair done. It gives so much to our self esteem. I live in Phoenix since 2005 and have lupus and still looking for that caring person. God Bless

Donna Williams: Love this video. Lena, you let women like myself know that we do in fact have an alternative. Wigs are not our only options. Thanks so much for this video. 2 Thumbs Up!!

MzMysterious2 U: That really looks amazing! I also suffer from thinning hair. I wish there was someone in my area with 1 on 1 appointments. Thank you so much for caring about privacy!

reddread2012: That trim was SUPER impressive. I knew the style was going to look sleek & nice from the trim & molding processes alone. I also loved the strip of color added in, towards the center. Your teaching style is also calming & organized, and not overpowered by background music. You make me wanna try & learn how to care for the natural hair & then do a quick weave, LOL..in my imagination, anyways.

Jalyn Andrews: This is awesome.❤️ My mother suffers from alopecia and doesn’t like going to stylists/shops to get her hair done because they don’t have private rooms. As a women hair is something we can get very insecure about ,so i applaud you for this.

Susan Cantorna: Your client looks so happy. Awesome work. Your voice is calming too, and it's great that you do one-on-one. So many alopecia patients are self-conscious about others seeing their hair before it's styled.

Racquel B.: Wow I've never seen the process of a quick weave before & I love the fact that it looks exactly like her hair. Very natural looking. Beautiful client❤

Jacqualyn Smith: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.... I have traction alopecia due to me wearing glue weaves (right to my scalp) and braids very long down past my behind. I've been wearing wigs and 27pc quick weaves (on a cap, that I do myself) for years. My alopecia is concentrated more at the top of my head. Watching your video just confirmed my idea that I had as far as making something just for the top and not a complete wig..... I'm a woman of a particular age and having my own personal summers ( Days I want to snatch my wig off....lol) I need something light. Thank you for sharing (the best idea ever)... God Bless
