Hello, everybody, so the question that I'm going to be answering today is: is there a way or can you weave on to a head that has been cut bald or either? Just very very short: a lot of people are going natural these days and um. What happens after you do the big chop? A lot of women still want to wear their weaves. They still want to do fun things with their hair, but they're kind of at a loss as to how to do that so um. I found a nice way to do that and also protective for your hair, a lot of people once they cut their hair bald. They just start bonding right on to their own scalp, which it kind of defeats the purpose of going natural and trying to have healthy hair, because the bond can still do two very short hair. What it does too long here, which is damage and destroy it. So I'm always looking for ways new inventive ways of we being bonding whatever on two very, very short hair, so the product that I found to do this is a product that I have used in the past um. I use it when my head was very long. My hair shorter now because I actually just did the big chop myself I kept enough hair though I had new growth enough to keep it braided. Underneath I have a friend she did the big chop also, but she chopped off a head full of permed hair. So in trying to help, I find a way that we can still keep her weave in here. I came across this product. This is the grow, protect solution. Many of you guys seen this years ago when it first came on the market. It was very popular. This is a product that is said to protect your hair before you bond onto it, and it does a really good job um. You can put it on to permed, hair, natural hair, long hair short hair. All that good stuff, it is water-soluble, so once you put it on your hair, it said that you can just kind of wash it off okay, but I did find that when you are applying this to a very, very short cut or shaved, hair or a head, It actually comes off different. You can honor kind of almost peel it off, which works a little better, all right. So I don't have my friend here, but I do have my mannequin head. So I'm going to kind of show you what this looks like on a bald head. Actually, this is the same mold that I used on my friends hair. It can't be reused, but I kept it just to do this video. So a lot of people do know how to do this. I'Ll use. This I'll tell you really quickly again um. I use this comb, which is typically for coloring, but I use this to apply this now. This is a very thick kind of gooey substance, and the key to this is don't be cheap. As you see, half the bottle is gone and we only use this for one application. So I'll kind of show you on my hand what it looks like for those who don't know alright. So this is kind of the texture. You can see that I'll rub it in a little bit, but it's it's thickened. It'S gooey, alright and the way to get this off is with water. Okay, once you rinse it off of water, it just melts away so anyways um. This is a scalp and I'll show you what I'll do my mannequin head? Has this like skin cover on it? I do this because, when I'm making wigs and I need to put the pins in she's not hollow, she saw it. So I have to have this skimpy but anyways on what I do when I'm applying this to a scalp and I'll turn it sideways um. I kind of start at the middle or the top. I'M not gon na do the full head because you know whatever, but I kind of start at the middle of the top, and I just kind of let some pour out and of course you would use much much much more and what I would just do is Basically rub this all over the scalp okay you're going to be careful not to get your direct edges, because when it dries it's going to kind of be tight. It'S almost like a stocking cap. In essence, it dries that way. Alright. So, as you see, I didn't put much, but you kind of get the gist. It moves very easy, as you see when I'm moving it with the brush. It moves very easy. So what you're going to do? You'Re going to do this to the whole head? Okay, you're doing the whole head you're going to use about half of that bottle, just as I did, but you kind of rub it massage it around wherever you need it to go. Okay, it doesn't dry superfast or anything like that. So you have plenty of time, but again the key to use in this is to not be cheap with yourself. You want to use at least a half a bottle for every time, you're going to bond or, like I'm going to show. You can also so end with this guy peace of mind here so anyways once it dries. This is what it kind of looks like. Okay. It dries just like a cap. It dries just like a stocking cap or a weight cap that you were going to use anyway. If you had a head full of hair and weren't using this method. So I'm going to go ahead and put this back on. I can remember how it was bear with me: I'm doing the back of the front the front, the back okay. So while I'm putting this back on um, I guess you can kind of see that when it dries it dries. -- is one whole big piece like almost like a piece of latex okay, so it makes it easy for whatever you want to do. It provides that cap for you, some people use it with the stocking cap. Everybody does not. You don't really have to some people. Just do it for added protection, okay, so once it dries, this is what it kind of dries. As and as you can see, you cannot see through it. You see it dries with small little air holes or air pockets, but you cannot see through this. It'S thick. This is the whole half a bottle that I use okay, so once it dries you're free to do anything, you want to do with it. Um, I'm not a big fan de bon. I'Ve never been a big fan of hair barn, so I always try to find a way around it. So suppose this is your client or your bald head. You now have a base once you put this on, it's going to be really thick and gooey. As I said, you're gon na want to get under the dryer. Okay, if you don't have a sit under dryer, it's going to take a little bit longer, but typically, what I'll do I'll sit? The client or, if I'm using it on myself under the dryer, for at least fifteen or twenty minutes until it's really really dry, and it is this latex kind of feeling. Okay, it's going to look like a stock stocking cap, but it dries to your head. It'S not going anywhere, literally it's not going anywhere and once you use it, you'll see that for yourself, okay, so once it's on this is your base. You can do anything you want to do with it feel free to bond if you want, because it's not touching your hair anything you do you're doing it on this latex base. It'S attached to your hair, no matter how short your hair is. Even if your head is bald it's attached, you still have some hair growing out, so it has something to catch on to okay. So it's not going to go anywhere. I'M just going to show you a quick example. I have one little track that I'm going to use some left over here to show you that you can really sew onto this. Even when it's on your scalp okay, let me try to zoom in the camera, and I'm going to give you a quick tutorial on how to do this. Okay, so, as you see, and I'm doing this backwards, so don't mind me. This is just a regular piece of hair onto this latex. Okay, I'm not doing it in any particular order, but if you leaving you do it the same way, you would normally leave so I'm just going to put it here just to kind of give you an idea. Okay, so you're just going to leave. Just like you always do but you're weaving onto this latex piece, okay, act as if it's a braid act as if it's um a cap that you're weaving onto okay. So basically just this is an attach to the head anymore. As I said so, you're just going to go under and over, I don't know if you can see that too well, but as you go under and over it slides right through just like it would a cap. Okay, as you can see the little holes that it's making with the latex, it's not ripping your base. The base is not ripping at all it simply. It'S sturdy. It'S the tada, okay, and that's again, why I say to don't be cheap with yourself use a half a bottle per hairstyle that you're going to use. Okay um! It is thick and it dries the exact same way, thick. Okay, so I'm not going to do the whole thing. This is just a quick kind of showing you so as you see, I weave this it's on it's not going anywhere. It did not rip the base it's on there, okay. So, as I said, this is attached to your scalp you're, going to weave right on to it. It'S sturdy, it's not going to move. I didn't leave this side. That'S the only side that week, but as you see, it's not moving. It'S not going anywhere. Okay, just like this, when it's on your scalp is not going anywhere, what you go find on the edges of your hair um, you are going to find that it's going to start coming up a little bit, don't worry about it! This is what happens because we have natural oils and natural moisture on our scalp. It'S going to lift a little bit, but that's okay, that's okay! As long as you're, not bothering it constantly pulling at it tugging at it! It'S okay! You know! So, ladies. I hope this was useful to some of you who may have on bald hair, bald heads and want to do a weave or try a weave. My method of putting my hair, in which I show it on to a wig cap and then just um weave. The outer perimeter this can work that way. Also, so you just make your way with your wig cap. In your weave and same thing, you don't just put the product on the perimeter. You still do the whole head because it gives it that security. You still do the whole head, but when you weave you just weave ride on the perimeter, weaving your wig down, okay, so let me just take this off just to kind of show you and remember the inside is wet because I put the product on the top. This is what the inside looks like. As you see, this is where the thread is you're not going to be able to see it that well because it's black on black, but you can kind of see a little piece of the thread. There'S no big holes in it. It'S no big major holes in it. Okay, this product is thick. Your hair is not going to fall out of it. It'S not going to do anything. Okay. So once again, ladies, that's just my little way of completing a sewing weave on a bald head, so I hope this was helpful. Hope it works, for everybody do remember to follow me on Instagram and Twitter um. I don't make videos all the time because I don't have the proper lighting yet and I'm still waiting for my lights, but I do always put up little tips and stuff like that, especially on the Instagram. So thank you for tuning in you.

tamara mills: As a former stylist & instructor, I found this very informative. I've had clients w/ autoimmune disorders, cancer survivors, men & women w/ pattern baldness. 1 thing many had in common wz the fact they didn't like the wigs bc it didn't feel "a part of them" so it was a constant reminder of hair loss. I made tons of handmade molds for detachable weaves, neck strips w/ weave caps & nets- (not a fan of the glue), but I had to be creative! In my own experience of health related hair loss- I UNDERSTAND from their point of view. Where was this product 15yrs ago? #thestruggle Idc for wigs or weaves bc of skin sensitivities, but I don't mind for a wk or 2. I'm curious; I hv to try this. Thnx for sharing! Blessings

Jamericanwifey: My stylist years ago use to do this to my hair when I had a shot cut. It really works and washes out easily

dionne803: This is amazing!! Thanks for the tutorial.

LovelyColey211: Thank you so much for this informative demonstration! Stay Lovely, stay blessed, Coley ♡

Daniel C. Breeze: Hi Thank you for this tutorial, you are very informative. I am a male with partial balding in the back and wanting to utilize this process. Do they make this fluid you are using in a clear color since I prefer to be blond or mixed highlighted hair? Thank you for any assistance :)

Moxy Nails: I've been looking for something like this. Bless you for the tutorial & product info.

Dezi Chrishon: Very resourceful & inventive! I will definitely try this...tomorrow!

Kristie Howard: Thanks for this, I am bald due to alopecia and I hate wigs because they are always to big for my small head. This gives me a new option. My only concern is that I sweat very easy and I am sure that if you sweat the base will detach from your scalp more quickly. I guess I am just a HOT HEAD :-). Great video, thanks!

THE GLOW UP GURU: Thank u soooooooooooo much for this I did big chop and I'm going to try this method!!!!!

Spencer Jones: I have a question Miss Lady.. I have been receeding since I was 16 yes old and finally shaved all bald..like monk bald.. Should I use this product with a wig cap or do I just apply it to my head and let it take mold...then start sewing on the hair pieces. Also, someone said that solution is flaky..is is true or no.. thank you

Tina Jackson: Wow, thanks angelitaliano, my friend has alopecia so I'm going to try this. Thanks for the help.

Antoinette McCray: thank you so much, that was very helpful

Julie Johnson: Wow! Your AMAZING! I need someone like you to do my hair.

latrice n: Hello I use this often as a stylist. Never shampoo it off, always use water as warm as the client can stand it. I learned shampoo turns no it into a gummy/ glue like substance. Then after removing 90 to 95% of it then shampoo

E. Davis: I just cut all my hair off because of alopecia. I live in the south with good ol humidity. I found that on my hair it worked better. On my shaved head, however, the sides and the back came up within a week. I'm guessing because that's where I am sweating the most. I now hate that I shaved my head. Maybe I didn't use enough. . . Idk

sonya creel: This is a very informative video and thanks very much. I'm always wanting to do a new thing.

k scho: Could you please tell me how long this product is able to stay on the head is it just for one day or could it stay on for like a week or two?

Erica Brown: Searched the whole net for something like that. Finally!!! thank u so much!

Joshua Trees: Excellent video - thanks!

Djturbomr215 Youtube: also what about the steam from the shower? will it loosen up from that? I really don't wanna have to go through the entire process too often!!!

Germaine Watson: hello and thank you for this info! I would just like to know if it has any type of odor to it? if I get in the tub or shower, if my head tends to sweat underneath it, does it give off a chemical odor?

Jahz M: Very informative, go Angelita

Angela Sims: fantastic tutorial!

Djturbomr215 Youtube: love it i been trynna find a tutorial foreva on how to this on a shaved head !!! Question? how long does it last ?

blessedjewel56: This may be great for chemo patients!

Daleep Johnson: Thank you so much I love this new product I look forward to trying it

Candius Elliott: After you remove it, would it be safe to add combs and resuse it like you could with a wig cap?

d brax: dear angel I have an area, on the right side near ear. can I use this product on my thinning area as a patch and add loose hair to fill it in? my hair is natural about 6 inches or 7 for the rest of my hair. Thank you, Dbrax

ChandraPearl: very helpful. thank u!

clackytop: So could you use this technique for just the hairline and sew or glue hair to it?

Ora Lee Cunningham: Great video, glad to learn about this product. Your tips are very helpful, I wish you were near so I could get mine done professionally.

iwannabefamousLA: Question now does this particular technique actually bond to the scalp at any point? I'm asking because I don't want it t to end up just easily coming off as any other wig would that is not actually seen into your own scalp thanks

Marie White: Ok so after I sew on my tracks when I'm ready to wash the wig will it become soft and fall apart?

7jandi7: wow thank for this it's great info

nissi bay: This is awesome!

wollmanrink: So I have a mohawk..would I be able to apply it to the shaved sides alone? And would it last as long as it would compared to if I would've applied it to my whole head?

Melissa Pulido: Thank you so much I'm really self conscious and just wanna have hair again that makes me feel like a human and u would only know what its like if u are someone with no hair and thank u again thank u u are so reassuring and I'll be confident and stop wearing hoodies when its a million degrees P.s I never rate or commenmt or anything like this but I am so hreatful to have watched this video so ur deserving of knowing how much u made a difference to me

Sexi Diamond Fashions: how good does you scalp breathe in that stuff? Can you oil you scalp 1st and then use the product?

rosjsph: Would using a wig cap on top would add extra security? By the way I love this video. I have short hair and lie to use virgin hair...thus provides me a great alternative.

IAMWHOIAMization: this is a great product BUT! if worn in excess your hair will come out terribly. everything you've said is true i have been doing the same technique since it has been on the market but i learned that my clients tend to wear their weaves too too too long no matter what i recommend.

QuantityOfTUNES17: my head is shaved in the back and on the sides just a little...can I use it for those parts of my head and still leave some of my hair out?

Chloé Catalina: can you glue on the weave hair on top of the cap once on head or have to sew in x

kahale1000: Will glue seep through the black stuff?

Christine Paige: Hi...where can I order the haircolor comb/brush you used in the video?

Lucinde McAfee: Thank you thank you thank you for this video!!

Jannita Starks: You answered my question I watch another video as she sewed in her hair she really didn't explain that, but you did so now I'm conflicted on should I glue or sew.

mrsawesome121212: Do u have a link for the product. Can u do a tutorial for a full sew in with back really short using a weave net. I really want a full weave so I can put my hair up during working out or in my military uniform. Thanks in advance

Natasha Green: I see a lot of vidoes...this was a really good one. Good job!

hotp!nk927: How long can this be worn? Also; won't my scalp get stabbed?

Barbadosbabe711: Hey im natural can i put a weaving cap on top of gro protect to do a sew it?

MPress Lee: DO YOU HAVE A SOLUTION THAT CAN WORK LONG TERM. ONE THAT WILL NOT COME OFF IN WATER?

Amy: Thank you!

Suzette Miller: If someone is bald, what is the advantage of trying to use a weave, compared to using a wig? It almost would seem better, and healthier for the scalp, to just use a pretty wig at that point. I wonder if those chemicals are healthy for the scalp.

iwannabefamousLA: Also I would like to know what if u sweat a lot when it's hot will will it come loose or drip or whatever u know ? Thanks

Milan Dior: Question I have shaved the back of my head can I use this method because I made a i part wig and I want to sew a it down but the back is shaved should I just bond glue the back are and then sew it down ?

Greedygirl: I have tried this and loved it, but it itches really bad. What can be done about. The itch?

Jovanah Dailey: Omfg thanks cause everybody else act like they couldn't help me with the length of my hair

Barbara Hogan: Yes Thanks I'm going to try this

sharon newsum: What's the name of the product you are using as the base?

Lorraine G.: It looks thicker than Robert Diamond which I just used. I sewed onto my daughter head after putting Robert Diamond and that stuff is no comparison to how this morning glory one looks. My daughter doesn't like bonding either. This was a very informative video. Thanks I will give morning glory a try next. I couldn't find it in the store that's why I even purchased Robert Diamond any way.

Stephanie Ineh: Can you just do part of the head for a mohawk look on a shaved head?

latrice n: I have after a great shampoo and conditioner then wrapping I have grown tones of hair by protecting it with Gro Protection Solitions

Bianca Nicole: I have hair at the top of my head just not back or sides what do I do with the top of my hair

danielle ezell: love this video

Dee: how long can a person wear this before showering on average? Is it a lot of work just for a couple days?

vanessa peterson: can one just apply a whole lace front

Jametta Holmes: What about sweating in the scalp will it come off??

Kimmy LoveChild: Would it be the same if you use this on an undercut?

Janaya Williams: I have alopecia so could I use that to to do crochet braids

mikayla smith: THANK YOU

tweetypatrol911: I have a question can u put a stocking cap on then the bond

Robin Stoops: I sure wish I could find you here in Texas . Do you know anyone who is a professional stylist in San Antonio that knows how to build a wig or apply lace fronts on a woman with no hair

Brittany: if i was bald i would just get a nice wig lol

Nantambu Satchldananda: Angel, will this work for me. I have very long dreds however I am shiny bald on top.
