Hey guys so for today's video we are gon na do some hat hairstyles, so these hairstyles are specifically catered to long hair. Long, thick, hair, they're, gon na all be side braids, but they're all easy. I promise so let's go ahead and get started so you're going to take a small strand off of your ponytail you're, going to take that small strand and go underneath your ponytail and then bring it all the way around and you can see when you hold on To that strand, it creates a loop and you just pull that strand through so now, you're just going to add in hair and then you're going to do the same thing. Take that strand cross it under bring it around and you can see when you hold on to it. It forms a little pocket and you just pull that strand through the pocket. So i'll show you guys one more time add in a section of hair. Take that section bring it under bring it over and then just pull it through the pocket. So just make sure your one hand is holding onto that strain the whole time and that's when it forms that pocket, but it should end up looking something like this. I did mess up towards the bottom as you can see, but you get the gist of it. It'S super cute for the next hairstyle, just put your hair into a side ponytail and then right in the middle of that ponytail you're. Just going to do a three strand, braid, then you're, going to divide the rest of the hair into three equal sections, make sure the braided section is right. Next to the outside section, now you're going to take that inside section cross it under the section. It'S next to and then over that braided section now we're going to come back and do the exact opposite so with your outside section you're going to cross it over the strand it's next to and then under that braided strand, and now we just repeat: take the Inside section cross it under the section it's next to and then over that braided strand take the outside section cross it over the section it's next to and then under that braided strand, okay, one more time cross the inside section under and then over and then cross The outside section over and then under so just remember that pattern under over and then coming back over under and just do it all the way down, tie it off with a hair tie. Then just fluff it out pinch and pull the sides of the braid to make it look more full and then you have a very intricate but beautiful. Looking braid. I got compliments on this when i went out yesterday and i highly recommend it so for the next hairstyle. You want to divide your hair into three sections, but the middle section. You want to be very small so with the outside sections, you're just doing a regular three strand braid and then tie it off with a hair tie. Do the same thing with the other section. Now we're going to weave that middle strand, so open up your braid pull that middle strand up through each of your braided sections, and you are just weaving it like i'm doing here. So i'm opening up the braid and then i'm pulling that metal strand up through that braid and then just doing the same thing with the other braid opening the braid pulling the middle strand up through it and it just weaves it together. So it looks like one big six strand braid, so it's like a faux six strand braid and it looks so cool once you're finished, tie it off pancake the edges and look at this bad boy. I'M obsessed! I think it is adorable. If there's one thing, i hope you take away from this video it's how to do a rope. Braid divide your hair into two sections and we are just going to take those sections twist them around our finger and we're twisting them away from our face. So you can see here away from my face now, i'm taking that outside section crossing it over the inside section. Just like that, and then twist both your sections away from your face cross the outside section over the inside section twist, both your sections away from your face cross the outside section over the inside section, and you just do that all the way down so twist away From your face and then cross the outside section over the inside section, i think the hardest part when i was learning this braid was trying to figure out how to twist it away from my face once you learn that you're good. So here i am, i'm just pancaking it i'm pinching and pulling very gently on the outside of the braid. Just to make it look a little bit more fuller. You could leave it, how it was, or you could pancake it like. I am doing here. Both versions are adorable and you can wear this one so many ways i love rope braids, so that is it for the video. Let me know what you think in the comments below which one was your favorite. Don'T forget to like subscribe, leave a comment and i'll see you guys in my next one mwah bye,

Andrea Meier: Adorable styles! I work at a school as a lunch lady. I’m always looking for ways to wear my hair. I’m limited because it has to be pulled back or up. I’ve used so many of your hair vlogs. Thank you for them!! Your videos are clear and easy to follow!

Therése Wallentin: You’re a hairstyle queen I always learn something new from you.

starbucksmocha88: I've been wearing side braids a lot lately and I love hats so this is a perfect video for me, thanks! btw do you have any videos of how to do 4 or 6 strand braids? If not I'd love to see that in a future video, I know you'd explain it in a way I could follow!

Lacy McCarty: I LOVE all of those options! Thank you for doing a video that showed each step! My hair is extremely long and thick so these will work for sure! My mom and I love watching your videos.❤ I'm also a mom to a 15 month little girl! Do you have any tips for staying so fit? This is my first child and my body is a mess. You always look so beautiful! I also love your personality...never change!❤

7027CATHY: These are amazing. Definitely trying them. I'm glad you added the first one in, I saw it on your shorts video and found it was too fast for me to see how the braid was done, much easier here. I love hats, always wear them here and there, more when I have a regrowth. Lol. Thanks for the tutorial. Good to see your little star back, both your boys are cute. ❤️

Arras10: I think I like number 2 the best Love that small braid, adds a cute touch

Phoebe Harris: Looks so amazing all these beauty hairstyles x

Megan Irving: these are so cute & look so doable! can't wait to try them

serenity m: I was just about to look up hairstyles to wear with hats so this video came at the perfect time!!!!

Irina Kim: I did it! #2, but small braid came to end when 3 strands were at their half. But I finished it as a ordinary braid and liked the result anyway. I'll use a zizi braid next time for a small one. It 'll look more colourfool and fun! Tnanks!

Irina Kim: It looks really nice. I'll probably braid my daughter hairstyle #2 for school tomorrow, but with a ponytail on the top of the head. Thanks for the idea!

Tita N.: Ooooh. My! I love the three of them!!! Got to try them all

Tracy: All great, but that second one using a small 3 strand braid to do a 4 strand braid? OMG, so cute!! I live in side braids - thank you!

CrateNart: Love it! Do some headband braids or ideas!!! ❤

Sue Stayton: All four are cute but my fav is the one with the slim braid that runs down the middle. Rope braids are awesome too though.

Nazat Sakellaropoulou: 4 gorgeous braids Bunch of kisses to you and your beautiful family from Greece

Shannon Sullivan: How do you come up with all these variations? I wear a hat to the gym so I'm loving all these new braid ideas. Sometimes the braids remind me of bracelet making. Lol
