Sometimes you need come on maurice the crotchet master. All right, yes, welcome. Welcome! Welcome once again, yes, my name is maurice the crochet master and i would like to welcome everyone who is watching me wherever you are and please i always ask for you to tell me through my comment section tell me whatever you're watching me from yesterday. I can know more about you, so now, let's continue with something that is now very interesting. Yes, i always hear some uh most people be like um, locking, locking means hair to stay for long, but sometimes it is very, very wrong. It'S just because we have the mentality that uh the mentality comes from the dreadlocks. So now everyone knows that dreadlocks stays for long, just because they're locked. So it means when you lock the trace, when you lock the braids uh the cornrows. Some people look in front and then they play the cornrows. They think it's going to overstay like the dreadlocks, but that's just a mentality yeah, because if i try to give you other the reason. Why is that? Whenever we are trying to do the dreadlocks, we always leave that water inch the way i've been explaining to. We always leave the quarter inch when doing the dreadlocks. So that means, if the same thing, that even when you had growth, you understand so like when you have hair and let's say you have plated some hair like the threes, all these ones, all the twists and then they get growth. It'S when you lock them, and even even those ones who love them, then then they always first, let it loose they played it loose and then after they lock it. So that is the same thing that even the dreadlocks after some two-month remark. They also get growth and then the same thing to these bridges. Also like two months romance, they also get. They also get the cross. So now i think, is the same thing, but though, what we should always be doing is to keep on creating uh hair cells that can always be protective for our hair and now, and even we always be sure of i'm plating eat very well, because now i've Been getting these uh comments from people that like now, if we play these kind of dreadlocks, is it gon na be easy for us to unplug them ourselves and then i'm like wow? If we can unplug the blade locks, because now the dreadlocks that i always played, we can always and unlock it, but it always takes like three hours to for when we are like two people or three people and plating it. So if it means, if you're one person, it is going to be uh, it's going to take you long, you understand. So now i have decided at least can't we do something that is uh. That can do the same thing with the dreadlocks, and that's when i got this idea of making the small braids of the kinky is that they can still last the same. Yes, they can still last the same for those ones who always travel, and i say where they have for a long time. They can also still last the same uh. You can even lock them yourself and when you it comes to unpleating them. It will be very easy for you to and plate even you can unplay it for yourself or you can play them yourself and still you find your hair protected. So i think we would say that this is better than the other one when it comes to uh. The safety and uh and the quick and plating you understand, so this would be better than the other one. So now, let's try to look at this tutorial. You know. Sometimes we always want to understand these hair cells before we do them or we are we. We are learning how to do it. Those are the most thing that we always need to understand. Yes, so now for the people who keep on skipping the same people, i find my comment section keep on asking me the same questions that i be uh that i've already explained in this video. So please, i'm very sorry, like those ones that i may know answer the same questions that i already explained. So, let's get it on this one hope you you've been watching um, because we also wanted these explanations so that we can uh combine them together and we compare if you cannot do dreadlocks. Can you still do these? Yes, so this is how we can do it, and on this one i tried to make um like my kinky, the afro kinky, that we are always you we always use for the dreadlocks. It'S the same thing that i'm using here to plate the threes, but what i'm trying to do here. I try to make the small portions, like the boxes that i'm using to uh the shape of the of the starting point. I try to uh to get the same um the same amount like not not the exact one with the dreadlocks, but i'm trying at least it's a slight bigger without dreadlocks. So i do the same size from down and though it's slightly bigger with the other ones. For the dreadlocks but um at least it is also the same like it is also small, and then we use our method of the inside, not less so that we can get it like that. So now, let's try to see this. Yes, there's some myths, the same method that we have been using during the braids, those box. Braids are the one we're still using here and now here we try to make them a little bit smaller yeah, just like that. So as we continue doing it, i already sorry sorry about my breath. Yes, i already told you about this gel that i always use it is the molding gel and now we are trying to make our a small portion like vcc. It is also in the rectangular format. Yes, yes, like the dreadlocks, so we put it into three portions like they will have been doing the other ones, and then we try to plate it this way, as you can see, so as we continue doing it, it's just like like that. Just have to make sure it is really really perfect. You did it this way like that. You see this one like that and uh yeah, like that. You make sure that uh, it is really really perfect. You see you see how you're supposed to a very nice uh. You know most of the times. We all know how to play the threes. So what we always need to focus on is the beginning he understands. So, let's try to see here how we start from down. You just have to make sure you do it this way for those ones who didn't wash the other steps very well, and just like this, someone might think that it's very tight. You know i always hear your comments, but why you just don't know what my magic currents are. I don't paint at all whenever i'm doing whenever i'm plating, someone so and i've tried to teach that to all my students like those who who come with uh. With that uh hardness, you find someone is playing someone very, very, very tight, so i'm i'm trying to teach them also not to be that way. So now you can see how it looks very perfect, and now we can see how we braid it very well and though, when you're trying to break this, please don't braid it like. We always been braiding these same uh, note lace or these other things that um you don't make it very tight. You know, as you're plating you try to make it neat, but not very tight. You leave that softness, leave it soft, let it be soft yeah. That is when you will get your um uh your braid straight, and it will be very soft and flexible. So now this is how you do, and after you lock it down this one uh, we lock it down so that it can have the real good endings and then it is also going to help you like when you lock it, when you're going to do the Repair or doesn't they call it redoing? Yes, when you're going to do their best? So this is our work for today and trust me. They very very soft, they're, very soft and light, so we're trying to pull the anti-ichi for her like that. So this is what we got for you for today. My name is maurice. The coach is my son guys. I love you so much. You can always do in my comment. Section tell me about the cell. What do you feel about it and please you should not ask me the questions that i already got the answers from that video. So i love you so much. May god bless you all, so you

Grace Babb: As a temporary loc technique I prefer the other one instead of this. To me the other technique gives a more natural dreadlocks look

G Washington: Thanks again for inspiring your viewers to elevate their creativity #MauriceDaCrochetMaster❣ I have used a similar technique (years ago), and can say I have witnessed a huge difference in length retention; while ensuring to maintain a healthy scalp and moisture. Unfortunately, I can no longer wear small braids due to hormonal changes to fine/thin 3C-4A/4B hair texture. I noticed quite a bit of thinning occurred when attempted. I have learned to NEVER tame my edges with products such as gels or pomades, nor incorporate any "baby" hairs (hairline/edges) within braids or twists... doing so can lead to further thinning and breakage over time. My sister learned by experience, it took her nearly 4-years to regain her "edges" or hairline back; she's yet to obtain her former glory. #MauriceDaCrochetMaster YHWH BLESSINGS for sharing your talents and gifts as we flow with knowledge.

Marsharena Lee: I like this...I might have to try it as a future braid style... how long do you recommend leaving these in? I was hoping for 2½ to 3 months.

Pam Is Living: Looks good, but I always tell them to leave out my edges.

Jesus loves us: I feel like I can fly direct nonstop flight to Uganda just to get my hair done by Mr.crotchet master. *I wish you were my neighbour* _God bless the work of your hands_

Carolynn Bryant: Do you cut the hair off the wig and use as braiding hair? Also do you blow dry the wig hair to make it a little more straight? I wanna try this instead of buying bulk kinky hair this is a idea

SKNM WMS: Do regular lock retwist new growth??❤

Stay Strong Be You: Power to the people
