Okay, so all week long in sidebar we've been doing this nostalgic. We great we've been taking a look back traveling through decades of the past, the fashion the hair, the decor or people say decor. It has been such a blast that we thought we may wanted to do this with some hairstyles and who are we going to bring back? Of course, our hair expert erin o'brien in studio, hey, hey here, we are. This is the first time you and i i mean speaking of throwbacks, you haven't been in the studio. No in a long time. Okay, very exciting, very exciting. We'Ve got some. We'Ve got some girls with us. We got some girls they're ready to party through the 70s. The 80s and the 90s, and so are we - i mean i'm looking at something that looks familiar from my early days. This is a crimper right. It is a crimper yeah which we're going to get to in a second, but we are going to start off in the 70s and i want to show everybody at home this video okay. So let's just appreciate this: it's a what fair faucet look! Okay, there! You are oh there i am yeah there. She is there. She is ready. Is something going to happen? Oh there, you go. Oh, but it's also your face. Like you really. Oh, look at you. Okay! So let's talk seventies, okay, hairstyle! I don't know if anyone wanted to see that again. I didn't i don't want to, because i do okay. Oh i just i just dropped an earring. You did. Oh, it's just aaron where'd you go! Oh! I wanted to see it again. Oh my god! Oh, it's really good. That'S a good look on you by the way. I know i love it. Okay, so that is something. Is that hard to do? No, it is not hard to do. All you need is a curling iron or i like to use a flat iron, okay, very easy. So far, faucet always has her hair pulled back and snatch, and just a nice voluminous look so you're going to take a section i like to work from the top and you're going to take your flat iron, bring it down while it's hot, obviously, and then you're Going to roll it back away from your face away from your face. It'S all away from your face like when swept all that sort of okay, all that sort of stuff you're going to hold up just for a few seconds, not as long as this, because it will snap off. Okay, don't do that to your hair, okay and then work your way and you can put like a roller in there to hold, and that is just going to sit back and sweep and you're going to do that on both sides. To give that like winged look and, of course you have the el net out and then you got ta spray it can. I spray you spray me: okay, ready, ready, yes, bear there, work it boom. Oh my gosh, oh look at me. I need to i get a job in your studio, sorry about you, okay, so let's move on to the 80s. Shall we because we got to talk crimping in the 80s? I remember my grandmother. We wanted a crimper so badly. She went to like so many malls and tim ins and trying to find a scripture for me. It was sold out absolutely everywhere. I wanted one so badly. Let'S take a look at you doing the crimping, the crimping okay. So, let's see what we, the goals are here: these are hair goals. Okay, so that's no! We don't like that. Oh we love it. Oh, my goodness, that is amazing. That'S a lot of hair not all day at work and that look at the does. That was that slow-mo. That was slow-mo, because i know you know i was like i'm so technical okay. So this is what we're going to do, i'm going to bring us into the 80s as well. I love your look. I'M going to do a little scrunch, nice yeah we've got our girls, which i think we should name. Okay. Can i please have tiffany yeah. Oh yeah he's a mannequin virgin. We haven't had her before, so you get to officially name her: hey she's liz. Okay, i'm just leaning in doing some music too. We got ta have music when you and i are together and you're, going to show me how to crimp. Yes, okay, so these are nice and hot. You have a wider crimper, so you're going to get a wider crimp, okay, and this is a little bit finer, so you're going to get a crimp like this, so you're going to start from the top and you're going to close and open. Oh really and close, oh and open and look you bring it down. Mine'S smoking. Is that cool? I wish i had a scrunchie. Okay, wait, wait! Wait! I didn't get enough hair in there. I know i wish you had a scrunchie too okay and you're going to do that the whole way down to the bottom and you're going to go section by section. Now. It'S really important that you take finer sections. Oh, i love the way your heat damaging her hair. Yes, it gives me a lot of me burn your hair too, really crazy. I got ta go faster with it damaging the hair in the 80s. That'S what we do is it working? Do i look like another? You do by the way i didn't comment on your amazing outfit. Thank you. Oh my gosh. This is what i wanted so badly keep going the whole way to the bottom. Okay, yeah, just quick right, just quick hits yeah quick hits quick hits. These are usually nice and hot. In the 80s, like literally where it's like, oh, is my hair going. Is it going to snap yeah, you weren't sure it was like really high stake? It was yeah exactly the other thing um. You can't hear the music. Can you no, but i'm just awesome, it's so great. I don't think there's a way we can get them to get the music yeah. It'S really good. You'D love it! Okay! So there we go. Oh careful! Oh, this is going down. This is going down there. She is back again, okay, but what i also noticed in that video you showed us. You had like a serious 80 20.. Exactly! Is that one of the things that we did with the hair? It'S like really really bringing it over yeah you want to. You want to make sure you get that nice big swoop and it's all about the hairspray choke and as much hairspray as you possibly can and spray and spray okay. So you can never do this as much. Never too much like really work that hairspray in there. Okay, we can see. Look, i think, she's too much like she got. She'S got the glow. If you spray long enough, she will have a facial glow and it will lock that makeup in yeah, i'm going to lock my crimp quickly. We should talk about the 90s because why not clueless one of my favorite movies, my favorite movie of all time? Oh really, yeah goodbye tiffany! We have veronica, oh ronnie ronnie go down ronnie. What is all right so these clips? Everybody knows these clips. They are iconic. You'Re simply just going to take a section from the front yeah and you're going to roll it yeah and twist roll twist and then you're going to pin it right at the back roll twist and lock roll twist and lock. You know what that's great for kids. In the morning too, going to school, i don't know why i'm petting liz, but she just seems really unsure of what's happening right now. I feel like she i feel like she's jealous, like she needs a clip or two but you're gon na. Do that we're gon na do that on the break aaron, because guess what we've run out of time? Surprisingly, i know this is too much fun. You'Re gon na have to come back yeah. She needs a little. She needs a little help, aaron, always a pleasure and the fact that we got to do this in studio and hopefully that's what we get to do. And can you help me fix this because i got to do news in like a couple. Minutes needs to stay. This is going to stay for today. All right sounds good. All right, hey thanks for watching.
