Today'S video is all about how to get your hair up and hide your greasy greasy dirty hair. Keep watching., Hey Guys, Welcome back to another tutorial.. If you are new here, I'm Clare from Harry John and I am bringing you DIY - hair tutorials every Wednesday and pro tutorial on Monday. For more hair videos, just like this one remember to hit subscribe and the bell to be notified for more videos.. Now here is the tutorial .... I am showing you this with my bed head. I haven't curled it. It is greasy and I'm going to show you a few Styles that you'd be able to use. If you are just pottering about and you want don't wan na. Look like a tramp around the house or, if you might be dashing in from work and need to get back out and you're gon na be going out with the girls you're gon na go on date night or anything like that. Anything if you are not watching this, when it first comes out, we are in the middle of COVID 19. My roots are absolutely horrendous. You can now see just how grey I am at the front and my nails are also trashed, but if the only thing I've got worry about is nails and bad hair, then I'm doing okay, we're doin' okay.. If you are anything like me, I like to style my hair when I've washed it so I kind of get 5 to 7 days out of it. It'S due a wash. I thought my so I put together a little video for you, guys, I'm gon na be showing you how you can sleek it make it even greasy. It'S a look good, but you can also use a little bit of teasing, so it kind of camouflage that so you can still do something and get the volume back in it. So there's two different ways to do it. First, we are gon na go with volume. Back combing brush we're gon na whiz in a little bit of teasing, so bring the hair forward pop a little bit teasing into the top look normally. If it's oily you kind of get a greasy roots, then you get these like fuzzy bed head bits around the front, so I'm gon na use a lot. This spray, you could, if you're, not into spray, if you use a little bit, coconut wax or ever just take it through, and we taking this up into a pony tail Bobble. With with oily how yours is splitting in the side. So I'm going to smooth over the sides. When we've done our back combing, I'm gon na tease out once you want any more pony tail variations as well. I have another video that it's just on different ponytails, so you can see that here they, if you want to you, can soften off the side. I think where it's sleek, if you still want to wear it, sleek whatever works for you, you can wrap a piece of hair and band as well. So you can stick a piece of hair around and then stick a bobby pin underneath. So you can hide the bobble., I'm literally gon na use my ponytail and just pinch it and lift it up. And then I'm gon na pull these side bits out there. So real and just tease up so I'm not doing like major backcombing, i'm just a little bit of teasing just gently roll the hair and wrap it around. So when you are doing your hair pins, keep them closed, get the pin where you've twisted round, pin into your hair, take it round and push it into the bun.. That'S only three pins, I've got a lot of hair and it is in. We have an antenor at the top, though into the hair push it pull some pieces out. Let me know what your tips are or your perfect products for combating your greasy or dirty hair. I'M not a big fan of dry shampoos. Do you use them a little bit, but when you spray loads crap on to your scalp, it always makes my scalp feel horrible. I always feel like it makes you feel even dirtier. But what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments just where we have these greasy parts across the top, I'm just going to add in tiny bit of tease in through those just so you can't see it on my parting and it will just lift it off your scalp, but make It will look textured, but not greasy.. I'M going to leave out front sections a bit behind the ears. This section it's behind the ears with this in a pony, Tease this out a bit. Same again: Kirby's, don't open into your bun pick up the ponytail and push it that's three hair pins. We are going to go around side so taking the whole section at the top, just a piece twisting and then, as you, move down, you're gon na keep twisting with your hands and then you thumbs just coming in and taking up another small piece of the hair. So, regardless of if your hair is fine or thick you're, just working along gradually, I'm picking up some of that twist and then you put your twist, you continue twist all the way around come underneath. If your tails finish at the top, you can still push it in first up and then once you secure those tails, I'm just holding onto the back and then just going to pull this out a little bit. And then it goes back in with hair pins into the twists, taking it up pushing into the ponytail catching the edge so use. Your should fingers to feel where the edge of the curve of your twist is take your pin in take it into your ponytail and push down. Then you won't see pins and you can pull this out as much or as little as you like. So I like mine, quite full, but you could pin this down a bit flatter if you prefer and then we do exactly the same on the other side. So we twist it to take the whole piece from the top twist and all the pieces are in and then we can pull out other pieces. We like another one. So hair is coming down right to the bottom of your neckline and then you're, holding the fingers and thumb on the top and twist twist hold it twist pull up. And then this hair will start to follow your twist and then continue twisting loop. It over your finger, tuck your ends, if you have any and to dressed, keep hold of the top come around to the front, pull out any of these pieces, so it doesn't look flat and oily, so curby grips again. Dont open! Take it in to twist over push into the hair Its a bit too far our that., So you don't want to be too far away from your head to don't be picking up too much hair just skimming the edge. It feels too much pressure. Then you've probably got too much hair in the hand. This we're just going to do a little twist on there., Take out hair, pin into it and push this down and then take that around to back. Take this tail Open the pin this time pick up a piece of hair inbetween then tuck that in the back., if you want to see a slightly glam version of this and a lot more secure, there is another video here you can go, have a look at., Then you want to go super chic. I always think super chic works better. Some people might prefer a centre parting, but i like a side like take it slightly further over and you take parting on a slight angle. So if our fringe is going on the side and it's swishing this way, you want your knot to be on this side. So I'm gon na pop on a little bit of the L'oreal Mythic Oil you're, just doing a couple pumps of that this can nourish our hair, while it's in a knot, so your hairs greasy you're going to put more oil on it. Okay, so if you have one of these brushes where the bristles are quite dense and slightly good for polishing hair into a Style. Im going to leave out this front fringe secure with a pin, fringe. Tuck those tails flat of your fringe. So your side sections are quite long, wrap that around the bobble first, Then I'm going to use some of this Olaplex Oil. This is to be a treatment again through your hair. Take that right through all the ends, then you twist this in loop.. You might not have the length so just take it nice and tight. It will still work. I'm just going to hold that in place with my hand, tuxk the ends, away., Kirby grip and don't open, follow the shape of where the twist is going. catch. The twist catch the twist take in push into the pony. You can leave leave this loose. If it's a little bit loose, oh, you can pin it back. I prefer it back because I think you're going sleek. Let'S do it all sleek. So there's a little piece. A little bit shorter here, so it's gon na pop a hairpin on the end and take that one underneath underneath that bit fringe and then that will hide that hair pin glue that down a little bit more on this side. Any bits that you get that just about a little bit short aren't quite going in just some catch and pinch it. You have to let your hands be your eyes, guys just go into the knot and there you go. im, going to do French braids and it's always a dead, easy, easy style. And then I like doing a little thing with them at the end. So it makes it almost look like you've done, a halo, braid any self or then it's really easy because you've not to try and do the halo braid you can kind of cheat it. So I'm just I've kept the side parting. I just think the side parting. If you have this bit coming over the front, that kind of hides any oiliness and it also camoflages the bad roots, and so I've got the parting kinda of coming on a slight angle. But I'm just going to take it straight down the back.. If you're going to struggle bobble on side out of the way, so you could do these really sleek again or you could have a little bit of backcombing just through this section just to help it look a little bit fuller. if you've got fine hair and a Little bit less greasy because you've got a little bit of volume through there. Tint tease through that bit and then we're just going to braid this in, and so let's just do basic French, because I'm not some more lift away from the scalp. So, if you're going to go, if your hair is really oily and you want to go sleek then go dutch.. So if you take that underneath it'll keep the root area close to your head and we can go nice and sleek if you want and something that looks a little bit fuller and we're going to go and lift it from the root of it. So we're gon na go over and go french.. If you are trying to do these yourself and not very good at them, then use your... Let your hands be your eyes and try not to use the mirror, because the mirror will throw you off.. So with these, the shape will follow so it frames the face, so we're going to be following the shape around this way.. We'Ve come to do this, so we're going to take out from the back of the head there right across, and this will give you some lift and keep it a little bit softer. So we have our two braids and I'm gon na make this look like it's. Some sort, updo so tease out that this little fringe a little bit and lift this kind of camouflage the grease. So again, if you want to wear this really sleek, you can do you can do it. Dutch that lies close to your. Had you want to create a little bit more, lift hide the grease or make your help. It'S thicker, I'm just gon na fan out those I'm just going to fan out the ends of the braid a little bit when you come around to the back, and this obviously isn't the greatest hairstyle. When you have bad roots, like I have so you're going to take your braid across and then you're gon na take the end of the braid and flop it back. So how long your hair is, you might be able to wrap this around more or you might have less and just tuck the end of the tail and then kirby grips again. It'S like the same thing, keep it take it into the edgy braids. Take it over. Pin it down that's one in if you get any it look a little bit too baggy. This is coming out a bit too much. Take your hair pin into the braid when you take that into where the braid disappears. So wherever that section goes to to push you're hair pin into the braid itll take up a little bit tighter then it'll also hide you have it inside the braid, so you don't be able to tell you messed up. I hope you enjoyed those styles guys.
