Why am, i so afraid, just to say, hey everyone welcome back to my channel and welcome if you're new, my name is haley and today i'm doing a little bit of a different video for myself, because i am not a hair gal. I have pretty fine thin hair. I don't like doing anything with it. It'S just like a hassle, but i'm coming today to you guys, um hello, with a hair video which a little different for me, but i feel, like i, through the years, have figured out like what works for me and works for thinner, hair and so yeah. I feel like, if that is an issue with you um, whether it's volume thin hair greasiness. All these types of things, this video can be helpful. Obviously you'll need a hairbrush. This is just a wet brush. I already brushed through my hair, a claw, clip or and or a hair tie and then finally dry shampoo. This is your best friend. This is the batiste instant hair refresh in divine dark. I love having the darker look. I just think it's a lot nicer than having to deal with getting out any lightness in my hair if it's left over from dry shampoo, that's just really annoying to deal with personally. So this is what i use, but let's go ahead and get into it. Okay, so the first little look is really simple, but my tip that i have for a claw clip is trying a higher up claw clip, because the natural claw clip thing to do right is to just pull it at the nape of your neck kind of twist Eye fold under and up and then just kind of secure it like that which is super cute, but i've really found that the a higher up look is actually really cute and it's not really something you would expect. So it's kind of like um excuse me. It'S kind of like a mash up or in between a like messy bun and a claw clip look. So what i am saying is, i kind of start to pull my hair up and i kind of leave some pieces out. Nothing crazy just a little bit of bang action. You can see - and i kind of actually just start to pull this all the way up. Almost like a ponytail, i'm not going to leave it like a ponytail and i will almost do a wrap around bun like this and then clip it up. Obviously this is really rough right. Now, i'm just kind of demoing it before i actually do it just so. You can understand what i mean, but let me brush out my hair a little bit really quickly, all right and so key to this is the dry shampoo, okay, like with any like with any um hairstyle, look for fine hair, just pump it full of dry shampoo And then just like give it a second to kind of rest and absorb really do its job and um all my little flyaways, my god, let it rest and absorb soak in all the oils and come back in a second and kind of judge it okay. So i have had the dry shampoo in for a minute or two, so i'm just going to kind of you know judge might look a little funny, but you know we're working with it. Okay, honestly, this right here is a look in it of itself just popping in dry, shampoo, um and going with your natural texture, or, if you i know, sometimes girls with like really straight hair, are just not a fan, so just putting in a few like really Loose waves, nothing crazy kind of beachy, look add in a ton of dry shampoo and just judge it up that can really help out fine hair so and then, like i said, you'll just pull out a couple of pieces. This is a look too. Okay, listen! There'S! So many there's so many things that you can do, but this um technique, like making sure you have dry shampoo in kind of helps your hair from like. You know this section right here where it might not be as like: full thick hair. If you have thin hair, like i do um putting in dry shampoo, really helps to ensure that it doesn't look like greasy and and streaky almost like. I don't know, there's something about like those gaps that really just not a fan of. So i'm going to kind of brush this up and kind of smooth everything out so that it's kind of as smooth as it's going to get and then i take it so i've kind of just got it in a ponytail at this point and wrap it like. So just kind of all up on itself does that make sense, so it's a literal like little tiny, ballerina bun and then you take your clip right and you make sure everything's, nice and tight, and you kind of just like that. What i like about this is that i feel, like everyone kind of just, does it more like down here and i really like the look of having it a little bit higher it's more 90s. Almost it kind of it reminds me of like rachel green. I think it's so cute um, but this is the look, and i know that this is really simple, but i just feel like it's so cute and i don't really see people do it up high as often - and i just think it's a nice trick kind of Makes your hair look fuller and thicker, i feel like if you um, are a little bit more of a flat, haired gal and so yeah. This is the first um little one, so let me take some shots of it. Okay, so pull this down now all right! The more of these i do, the crazier my hair gets, and i feel, like my hair - doesn't look as thin as it actually is. Um, it's just like slightly wavy, and so that gives it a little bit more texture but and i'm all in it first day hair. So it's got a little bit more like grip to it, and so it's not super flat right now, but i would definitely do these um on, like second or third day hair, where my hair, when my hair is looking really flat. Sorry i keep messing with my hair, it's so annoying okay, anyways! So the next one is so simple and don't hate me for including it but listen. If you have like somewhat thin, hair and you're not doing a high pony, you just need to start doing it. Okay, because it's so good for thin hair. Okay, so let me go ahead and kind of flip. You flip a little bit and i honestly do not make my hair, like i don't smooth this part when i'm flipping it over and doing it, i'm not taking my brush and perfectly smoothing it out. I'M allowing there to be a little bit of bumps and texture and stuff, because when you start to smooth it out, that's when your hair starts to look super flat, which is not fun. Okay, so so see how it's pretty smooth, but there's still a little bit of like messiness and bumps and texture, that's so necessary. I'M just gon na take an elastic and obviously like a sleeker elastic would be cuter, but for these purposes this is good, and so the secret here is, you just have to judge you really have to judge and also you have to tighten the elastic as much As you can, okay - and i know for some of us thin haired girls - we can twist that elastic around your hair, like four or five times, do that because you don't want this to fall, because if it falls you're gon na start, looking like an egg okay, So you really got ta judge this and in this situation, if i really need it josh, i will actually back brush it a little bit. I'M not crazy about teasing. I think it's really damaging and sometimes can pull a little bit um to texan. For me, even though i am in texas, yeehaw do a little bit of teasing if you need to, but really the trick is to have it right above the crown. So this is your crown. You want right above it, you don't want to put your ponytail like on top that's when it starts to look a little bit like a high school girl, so you want it above the crown, but not on the top of your head and just judge it, and Almost kind of like fan it if that makes sense, so it's not. You know just back here like this, i'm really fanning it out and like that and pull out some pieces right here. So i love this look. I think it's super cute, just a high pony. It'S just so like classic and with this it's like you can just judge it whenever and it's so simple you don't even have to look. You just just feel like you're getting flat. It'S all good another thing for my thin haired girls. I don't know i keep repeating that. Obviously, if you're here, that's probably why you're watching, but this right here, if you'll notice, i have like tons of baby hairs because my hair breaks so easily, so it almost looks like like. I can't talk um. It almost looks like a bald spot, almost fill that in with eyeshadow. If that is like something you're insecure about - and there are days where it looks worse than others for me, i literally will take a dark brown. Eyeshadow fill it in and it looks perfect. It looks like it's nice and um not broken, so that is another tip. Okay. So moving on to the final look - and you guys, i had my hair blown out right around when i was moving into this apartment. I got it blown out because i got a haircut and it was obviously straight. So it's obviously looking way flatter than it does right now and i was on like fourth day hair and i started doing this updo and it was just like amazing. If you are a little bit more on the um straight and thin side, i feel like this is a really good one, for you go ahead and pull out some bangs. Another thing: when you don't have volume, is you almost always want to pull out some bang? There, okay, so you're, going to take kind of like the hair um on the crown of your head, so just kind of right around there. So you'll leave all of this and you're going to take this, and you are just going to kind of put it into like a little bun like that. Okay, i swear. I'M not good at hair. Y'All can probably tell from this video, but i'm telling you these looks - are cute, so you've got this up, so this is giving you the volume at the top right, because no matter what we're doing, we don't want there to be a lack of volume up here When there's no volume up here, that's when we start looking really flat, but sometimes with um half up half downs. You don't really have enough hair going on down here, and this is when you utilize your dry, shampoo. Okay, so i already have dry shampoo in, but i'm just gon na go ahead and add some more and i'm gon na. Let it sit in there and really soak in, but this is what's gon na give you that texture and again, if you're, really straight, add in some waves so so helpful when you have flatter hair having a little bit of wave in there. Just seriously does wonders so i'm gon na let this soak in for like two or three minutes, and then i will be right back okay, so it's been about three minutes and now what i do is. I will literally just take the the roots like right below where the hair that's up is, and i will go at it, and this is almost like, if you think about it. This is almost a form of teasing your hair, because you're kind of like tingling it a little bit, but you know it's fine. If you just judge it's like a light tease - and you see how much volume that gives you okay, this amount of hair right here - i'm not going to scrunch it, because that will make it flat. But it's almost nothing like okay. I don't have a lot of hair, and so, when you start to do this and really like frizz, is your friend in terms of this hairstyle, do you see the volume? Do you see how cute this is also sorry i forgot to mention. If you pin this, i can keep it a little more upright. I didn't really uh stress that enough. Okay, this is literally so cute. Okay, so and it's really playful and fun and again bangs are necessary. It kind of i don't know at least on me. I don't want to be looking like an egghead like that, so i leave the bangs out and yeah. I think this is my favorite one that is number three okay, you guys that is going to be it for me. I really hope that this video was helpful. I know it's only three little updos or hairstyles. I guess they were all up dues yeah, but i feel like they're all super cute and super easy. You literally have to have no talent to do these because trust me. I have no talent, and i can do these so yeah. I really hope you enjoyed and um. If you did, please go ahead and give it a thumbs up. Really it really helps me out. Basically that is going to be it. So i hope you enjoyed like and subscribe for more, and i will talk to you guys in my next video bye. Give you a call to shoot the and fill you in we're reminiscing yeah, all the dumb things we did when we were only little children.

Beathe Haaland: Great video :) I'm a stylist and I think you did a good job. A tip for the parts at the sides that you feel sometimes are a little "see through" is to use a fine tooth comb or natural brush to comb the hair back with. When every hair spreads it will cover those parts more. (I've got them too) I also sometimes use a root spray with colour to fill inn those parts a little too. That makes my hair look a lot thicker on the sides. A part of my problem is that i color my hair dark but naturally I have strawberry coloured hair. Meaning that my roots almost looks like bald spots I like the second look the best. The hair looks thick and it lifts the face in general. (you don't need a facelift though) The first one im not a fan of, simply because I personally like hairstyles where one follow the lines of the face/head and this one doesn't. It looks kinda backheavy to me and more like a shelf in the back of the head. It's not ugly at all, just my love for symmetric and balanced lines that comes into play With that said, im not always following those "rules" on myself because I dont see myself from every angle, but with clients i do that :) Keep up the good work! You're a beautiful girl with beautiful hair ❤️

Shannon Lee: Our hair is exactly alike. The texture, curl, frizz, length, and same natural color. Literally can’t do anything with it because I have zero patience for hair and would never make it as a stylist. Plus my hair is a complete pain in the ass and has a mind of its own. I even had a hair stylist do my hair for my wedding but it still didn’t look anything like what we wanted.
