Lazy, easy hair. I am all about lazy, easy hair. When I first went gray, I started growing in my hair and I thought I want to have this long luxurious, fabulous hair and the simple reality is: I'm never gon na. Have that hair not in this lifetime? I see it on other people and it's wonderful and beautiful, but mine. I really can't have it any longer than this because it just gets thin and scraggly. So I use a lot of hair pieces, but I like hair, that's just quick and easy on the go. So this is my go-to everyday hairdo. It is a scrunchie thing that I got off of Amazon. This is a Christie, Brinkley hairpiece and I will drop a link down below. It looks prettier when it first comes out of the package. I wear this thing so much. It is well, this is the second one I have gone through two of them because I wore the other one out who wears out a hairpiece. So let me show you my favorite hairdo. Do I even have a comb here? Why would I have a comb? Why would I why would I have a comb to start a hair video? That'S like a smart thing. Why would I do that? Okay, just just start a hair video without a comb money. Because, honestly, I do my hair, which is my hands most of the time. So here's a comb I may use it. I may not use he'll see it's. Basically, I pull my hair up. It'S weird because it's parted on the wrong side. Usually I have it parted on the other side, but let's give this a shot. I'M just doing a loose ponytail up here: try to use a rubber band that matches your hair. If possible, hey not too tight keep that loose and then my hair is naturally wavy. You may need to hit that with a curling iron. So that's the basic and there's no reason I couldn't go out with it. Just like that. I could take a little piece of hair wrap that around it dress it in a little bit and that would still be cute, but you know I got to be extra. So I just take this thing: I'm flying blind here guys. I hope you can see this and I wrap it around once and twice snug it up a little. I take the ponytail and I literally just cover and grab a bobby pin that's same color as your hair. Don'T use your teeth, do as I say, not as I do, and I just anchor that down. I hit my own hair one time and you should always with your bobby pins. You want to have the flat side up and the wavy side down. That'S gon na hold your hair a little better and on this side, I'll hit it where I hit the actual hair piece that usually holds pretty well, but just to make sure I'll hit it with another. Just arbitrary random. Please place that. I can't see. I have no idea, what's going on in the back of my head: probably complete chaos little scalp showing there, let's get rid of that easy lazy, hair, more easy, lazy hair, because if you're gon na be lazy with your hair, why not go all out same hair Piece: let's take those pins down three pins down, pull the hair piece off, give it a shake. Second, second lazy, hairdo blow pony same hairpiece, same dole, wrap same grab. Your real hair, pull it over same three pins same. Don'T use your teeth, one on the real hair, one on the fake hair hold that down and then one more just random, bobby pin somewhere else just to make sure it's anchored hit that with a little hairspray you're like, oh, I say, eres hairspray as I put On earrings cuz, obviously, that's not hairspray. It'S easy. I have no idea. What'S going on back there, I think it's chaos. I kind of hope it's chaos. This is about chaos cuz. You can never have enough easy lazy. Hairdos, come back to that high ponytail right up on the tippy top of the head. This time and again, you don't have to have a ponytail. Sometimes you can just like pull it through and sometimes just do that and call it done nothing wrong with that. No shame in that you could pop this right over just like that, but basically the same thing around second time: pull it through, give it a snug. They go wild and crazy'. These are not neat and tidy hairdos same bobby pins. This one usually needs more than three bobby pins, sometimes some hair pins, but you get the idea, and then I like this with usually take a piece out at the temples here, more easy lazy, hair. It'S summertime, keep it easy, keep it like, keep it cool love! You bunches talk to you very soon.

Stinkaboo62: Monique, you are precious and priceless! I just love your sense of humor, sense of style and ability to teach even me , how to Pretty up in a quick and public ready way! PS, thanks for the bobby pin add on... I have never known that trick, and it makes feat sense. Big Fan, from KY

Brandy Hurd: Hi Monique! I'm growing my natural silver hair out and it's just about down to my shoulders. I've missed my little updo's and I just don't have enough to do much yet. I ordered this hairpiece in the silver, and I love it! Your tutorial really helped. Thank you! Xoxo

Jett: Wow, Monique, your hair has just gotten more & more beautifully, stunningly silver! You inspired me to let my pure white hair grow in (I had almost pure black Morticia hair naturally, & yes, it is thick, lush & long), so thank you~ Seeing the color change takes some getting used to (think Lily Munster now), but I get loads of compliments, people think I've added accents to my hair! BTW, you look absolutely gorgeous in this video too, as nearly everyone else commented!

Susan St. Louis: Stunning! Cool! The lighting on your skin is so flattering

Sharon laFerry: Great idea! I have had one of the hair pieces for some time now and do it just like your second style and always get compliments. I am even lazier... I chopped my hair off to just the length of the hair piece - I don't have to tuck or pin that part. Also when I got mine - the color just did not quite match. My hair is lighter than yours and I had ordered a platinum /white color, but I solved that with just a bit of light beige eye shadow lightly brushed in, now it matches great.

Coffee at the Beach: Leave it to you Monique to change what at first looked like a messy style hairpiece into a modern, chic messy-bun type styles. I never would have considered one of these pony wrap things (seen them before) but now... I might get one of these to have some fun. Thanks for this tutorial.

Belinda Trimarchi: Thank you so much! I finally cut the hair that you dreampt about, my hair is fine too, but I would spray it with 3 layers of hair spray which thickened after I dried it and put foam hair curlers on top of my head at night. Due to being sick of waking up with rollers. I cut it & purchased a hair piece. I haven't used it yet, but where & how do you keep them nice when not in use? Thank you again Monique for the tips! P.S. The photo was when I put my own hair up which is what I like to do in the Florida summer heat.

MaggieLoveMTC: Thank you so much for this video...most of the time I put my hair in a bun - that hair piece will take it to another more fabulous level! Love you girlfriend!

Natthebratster: Love the these tips!! I too can’t let my hair go much past my shoulders-totally frizzed out. Your makeup in this video is amazing I love your highlighter/blush combination-so pretty!!

Cary Seifried: I have the same Christie Brinkley hair scrunchy thingy and I love it! Thanks for the styling suggestions!

ton de man: I always love Messy buns,I almost wair them on a daily base. Most of the time I wear a high Messy bun that’s easier for me because I need to lay flat in my bed for 22hours a day,and then is a high bun the most comfortable, and it looks good on everybody. And most people think that it is a very difficult thing to do because it looks like you need to invest Some time in it,but it’s the quickest hairdo I know.I love it and it’s very beautifull on you Monique, and it’s totaly invissible that your hairscrunchy is a hairpiece. My hair is a little longer and curlier so I only wear a hairband and a few bobbi-pins,and sometimes I wear on the outside of the bun a hairscrunchy in the colour which match my clothes that day,so I have multiple colours and they are better for your hair because they prevent breakage.Thank you Monique for sharing this nice video and I realy enjoy that you post more often a video,Sending you lots of love, wendy❤️

Lesley Katherine: Hi Monique! Thanks for another great video. Question : have you tried the heatless styles where you braid, etc your hair before bed, and wake up to amazing hair? I avoid heat, so this would really be helpful. Stay gorgeous!

Patricia Green: Awesome video Monique! I have fine wavy hair and will be trying these with my hair piece today. Thanks girl!

Sharron Mitchell: Love your helpful hints regarding hair and make up. I decided to go grey and started letting it grow out. That lasted 2 months! Then I stripped it and dyed it ultra light platnum. I'm hoping it will be more subtle as this much lighter color grows out.

Darcy Hopkins: Glamorous! Elegant! Love it!

Joelle Aittama: You really don’t need any hair at all. It’s amazing what you can do with hair. Color is so beautiful!

Deborah Owen: I have just found you on YouTube and I love your videos. I too decided as a woman in her 50s to go gray and although it took me a while to get used to it, I will never color my silver again. Because the back is still dark and the front & sides are silver I have now had purple added to my dark and I LOVE it! It's so much fun. I am currently watching your videos on the colors to use with the gray hair when it comes to make up. I wasn't much of a make up wearer, but with the gray I feel I have to wear it or I look bland. I am also struggling with my eye brows which are sparse, but also more gray than taupe. I found a skinny IT cosmetics eye brow pencilin gray, but it's $22 for very little product. This is where my real struggle is. Thank you for putting yourself out there, I relate to you so much.

Vi Ay: You look so amazing in any color, any length. Your natural hair is really beautiful and silky!

Amy Ralls: Thanks for the easy updo ideas!! All 3 were gorgeous on you! For not knowing "what the heck is going on back there", it was beautiful controlled chaos!!

mickyunit: Love these... Always looking for easy lazy hairstyles. Love ya, Monique! Hugs!!!

Claudia Bachmayer: Loved your video for easy lazy hair. Your videos are inspiring as well as funny. Thank you Monique for introducing me to the CB hair wrap; I wear it everyday with pure chaos

Shar B: Easy Lazy Hair do's are the best especially when people think you've made a big effort lol. Thank you for another great video xx

jacaranda: you are adorable! I can’t wait for my hair to grow long enough to use one of those hair pieces. So cute!

Sandra Dakers: You look fabulously stunning! I am turning 30 and recently went back to my natural hair color (fearing I may soon go grey) as my Mom & Grandma greyed early. After watching a couple of your videos I am so confident I will look amazing grey! Now, to make sure my body stays looking as good as my hair! Any tips on staying physically hott like you?

Denise Gustafson: I definitely need one of those hairpieces! Thanks for sharing

Karen Kleckner: Love these hairdos! Perfect for hot sticky summers in N.Y. I must invest in a hairpiece. Thank you. ☺

VOVÓ DOCINHA Silvana Bishop: You look amazing always!!! Love the ideas!!! I’m the ones who have long hair....❤️

Annette Thrall: All the styles look fantastic on you Keep the videos coming and have a great day❤️

Amanda Neville: You have enough hair to do a hairbow too. Like the 3rd hairstyle leave the ponytail half pulled through to leave a loop. Split in half and wrap the tail end over and pin and then take the ends around under the bow and pin. You can anchor the loops of the bow if you prefer.

Meredith Simpson: That was fantastic. Thanks! Fab as always!♥️

Suzan Storm: Chaos is LOVELY! I have the same issue - my hair looks super thick - until it grows just that one extra bit... then poor- thin and straggly!

Amaya Rodrigo: Hugs from sunny Seville, Spain! I love your uploads, and enjoy having a peek at your events, hikes, cats, home... and so on Just wanted to let you know that you have followers here. You are beautiful in and out and I learn so much from you! Thanks!

Lorraine: Love your videos. Thank you for giving all of us ideas and inspiration

Bella Donnelly: So cool I want one I’m into easy peasy too. Yes your arms look fabulous toned you rock Monique

S M: Oh I need one of those! I love my hair colour now but it is thinning, thanks so much for the tips.

Anna Zubowicz: I like all the hair styles so much! And the beautiful silver color!!! ♥️

Marilena: The e low bun looks very elegant and classy. You look good in all three styles!

Norma H L: Brilliant styles, I use these elastic hair wraps often, but I never considered pinning my own hair into the wrap! Obvious, when you see someone else do it. Thank you. One question, when you do the high bun, what do you do with the hair falling loose at the back? My hairline seems to be low at the back, I always have loose hair falling down, I’m trying to grow my hair longer to overcome that, in the hope of catching it all in the first ponytail. Nx

Wica karo: UndI really love your channel, Monique! Very good styling with that hairpiece. I always found them very ugly, but it looks really pretty! You are lucky, that the colour fits exactly to your beautyful grey hair. Right tomorrow I will try to get one too.. At the moment, my grey hair is grown out about 8 centimeters, the 20 centimeters of the rest is still dark-brown dyed, perhaps I get a few more variations with that piece to stay cool with my colour-mixture on my head while going grey. Greetings from Germany!

san corn: Looking beautiful as always and so creative!

carol newlands: I bought 2 of those and both her pony's from your video wayyyy long ago..love them..we have similar hair....I have more fun with fake hair..I wore pieces all through the 80's and 90's then went short like you did and platinum..when I went gret I let it grow to have some fun..we are on the same wavelength!! Have a fun weekend!! You look fab anyway you wear your hair!!!

Robin L: One day I will buy a hair piece. My hairs just short since I'm a no fuss kinda girl. Your hair is adorable and you make it look so easy. Great information.

Elizabeth Stallings: Monigue I love , love , LOVE the boxes behind you could you possibly show them up close and did you DIY them or buy them and if so where can I get them? P.S.I also Love the Hair style and your style cut.

BevsArtsandCrafts: Looks gorgeous xx

Cheryl Bond: That's some great tips Monique. Thanks. I guess it would take a bit more work w/ longer hair, but still worth it, especially on a hot summers night where you wanna still look more put together, but don't want to have to blow dry your hair, only for the disgusting humidity to ruin "the do", & make all that sweaty hair stick all over your neck & face. I GOTTA get me one of those hair pieces! for sure. Your top is so cute! Can you please let me know where you got it!? I must have it!!! Just wanted to let you know that your arms look FABULOUS! so toned & defined with just the right amount of muscle. Guess you've been keeping up with your workout routine. I've GOTTA get going with that!!!!

Lynn Knight: Monique, do you ever wear your hear down with a hairband? That's one of my favorite ways to wear my classic, grey bob.

Patty 2021*: Dear God in heaven...lol You have the most beautiful eyes, hair, face and arms! I'm 59 and have wavy, thick greyish hair. Still at the coloring stage and really tired of it. Fancy Flapjack: I have those hair scrunchies monique they are brilliant get them off amazon here in the uk my hair is 'wimpy' too so glad you have done this video thank you x sometimes I use two slightly different colours love that relaxed lazy hair that also looks elegant ❤️

I'm tired of not being able to wear my Kate Spade studs. Xoxox

Merci Monique
