Hi, I'm Tasha from bloom Hair Studio, we're doing this video today in collaboration with naturally curly calm, which I'm pretty excited about, and the video is going to be wedding, inspired whether you are a bride yourself or whether you're a bridesmaid or whether you're attending a wedding. You'Re going to get some good tips and tricks from this video, so we're going to start with the natural curl of our hair. Obviously that's what I have going on here and we're going to start with doing kind of a half up do so. This is optional, but I'm going to just take a small curling iron and just define some of the curls on top and curl them in a direction going back all right, so I've curled this whole top part of my head. Basically, all of this - and the reason this is optional, is because, if you have really thick full hair already - and you have lots of volume on top, then you might not need to do this step. I just wanted to have more volume on top more lift from the root. So that's why I did this. That'S why it's optional make sense. Okay, so we're going to break this curl up their fingers a little bit, so I don't want to leave it like. It was I'm going to add some hairspray and you just kind of want to mold this hair back in the shape that you want it to be and how much height you want on top. So I'm going to show you what I'm going to do in the back here. All I've done is just taking kind of a section like this and pinched it in the back and put my bobby pin in I'm just going to put one bobby pin in for now. So now that I've got the height that I want, I'm going to go back to the front, I'm just going to place any curls that I just want to change slightly. You may need to add a couple bobby pins at this point or they may just stay. Put on their own, I need to just add a couple bobby pins, all right. So now I've got this part figured out. This is how much height I want. This is what it's going to look like from the front. I want to take these sections right in front of the ear, so you can take all of this hair about a chunk that big and all I'm going to do is twist it away from my face and we're going to pin it back here. All right same to this other side, I'm going to take about this much hair twist it away from your face and pin it with the others. You all right so now that you've got the front, figured out, go back to the back and if you have any pins showing or if you just have any flat spots, that you don't like the great thing about curly hair is you can just kind of take A curl fluff it out, maybe even pin one up here to cover your bobby pins curly hair is really so easy to work with when you're doing updos, and you can see when you twist curly hair. It goes are just really nice definition that you don't usually get with curly hair when it's just down and in its natural state. So I really like this twisting. It just gives it a little bit of detail without overdoing it alright. So here's the finished. Look! So really easy: we've taken this top section, curled it to give it more volume, pinned it here to create the volume that we want and we've taken these two sections twisted them and pin the back and covered some of the pins with some curls easy. So I hope you guys have enjoyed this look, I'm just going to take it one step further and put all the hair up so continue watching for that. Alright, so I'm going to take this just one step further and very simple: again: I'm going to make it from a half updo to a full updo. So I'm just going to take this hair and we're going to pin this up in the back. I'M going to turn around so I don't have very thick hair, so I can take all of this hair in one section and do what I'm going to do. You may have to split it into two sections or even three sections if you have really thick hair. So keep that in mind? Okay, so I'm just taking this whole section in the back. I'M gon na do a little twist on the bottom and I'm going to tuck it under and pin it like this. I'M going to cross my bobby pins underneath here. So they stay in place and you can make this kind of full ball part as long or short as you want, I'm going to leave it about there. So it's easy as that with two more bobby pins. I can make it a full updo, so last but not least, the hairspray and in the back here I just want to make sure that this area right here isn't too flat. I want to make sure that it's not like a bump flat and then a bump. So I'm just gon na bring some of this hair just out a little bit just spray it and make sure there's a little bit of volume there. So there's a finished look of this one thanks for watching this video. I hope I've inspired you guys to try some new things with your naturally curly hair. I know it can be hard, sometimes to figure out what to do so. I hope I've, given you some inspiration and some tips and tricks, especially for this wedding season.
