This video contains some of the best hair updos and curly hair updo styling techniques I have ever seen.

With hair updos, you are just minutes away from becoming a style diva yourself. And the best thing about curly hair updos is that you do not need to spend ages to get one.

Hair updos are for people who only start thinking about their hairstyle just minutes before they are to go out.

Or they are for those who are caught washing their hair when actually their date would have arrived. Yes - these hairstyles, you guessed it right, are for a vast majority of us, who leave everything for the last minute and yet want the best of everything.

Wish we got everything as easily as hair updos.

Contrary to popular perception, curly hair updos need not be plain and boring.

Thanks to people in the beauty industry such as Stas in this video from Metamorphosis Salon, there are several curly hair updo styles which can turn a plain Jane into a celebrity in a matter of minutes.

Take the curly hair updo in this video. The very name of this style is '50's Avant Garde Updo', and is enough to arouse your curiosity for trying it out.

Hello, I'm Amy E and miss estelle and we're here at legend office, salon owned by this lovely judgment stars and he's going to show us a beautiful 50 style up to with a proof like Gwen Stefani in the front. So what do we need for this? We need few very simple things very light: hairspray to start with. That'S all we're gon na work very flexible to make sure that the hand is glued together and the really cement type of hair spray will use towards the end make sure she would last for a while and some diamond gloss to finish it up with some beautiful Shine as well as some nice different pieces of accessory will be feathers or anything you pretty much can be creative with a rat tail comb extremely important with the metal on. So it slides off the hair really easily doesn't get a glued on jumbo pins and some smaller pins, as well as the rubber bands to create a point out. If you would like to have it as a base. So now that we've got all of the things that we're going to need to make the style and you've been prepped. What'S next, the next and the most important thing is back combing, which is called teasing as well. That will give the hold to the hair style, gives lift height volume and pretty much primarily, is the hope. When you do up deuce, it's really important to feel it rather than doing like a more technical work, because this is more about the movement of the hair and also receiving the information from a custom where energy, wise and just kind of do it together. Yeah asking questions where this should go: where's she gon na wear. What kind of make is there going to be much jewelry and all these questions are really important. There'S a few very simple steps to the making sure that I've combed out very strong attention. You can try it a little bit with your finger. Oh yeah, pretty strong, that's really important, not pulling it by very, like thin parts of the hair. Actually, the whole section should be held really nicely and tight, and at this point we can. This is really important. How it's going to look on the side, because the main movement of the comb is going to be very going very so you move the coma as you do it, and then you actually pushing the hair down to the scalp and that's the main arm back combing Technique, you don't want to go up and down, but doesn't do much. You actually want to move move in bring the hair down. Take it out again move in bring the hair down, take it out lightweight kind of gliding with a hair, yes, and so we're going to start doing it again. I can go slow and it's pretty much creates like a nice circular motion at this point. What'S really important is never to comb Ortiz the ends. I don't want to keep the ends very nice, very soft, very natural, because the main thing is booties in the front so as they already prepared it's easier to do so we're going to continue doing this. The right back, combing also could be seen on the side. If you can see, there's a little bit of number eight going on yeah, it's a late lunch, just look back and forth. That creates a really nice back combing and also when you decide to comb it out, it won't be hard at all just take loop by it. Little by little, you can do the same technique undoing it rather than not tell you up exactly so there shouldn't be any knots over directing it. A little bit creates a closer scalp tease, so it looks more organic together. So we're going to continue and depending on where you want the most hype, that's where you can do more or less of back on it, so we're using a very light: hairspray, flexible spray. Everybody has different preferences on that, just to give it a little bit more hold at the week, so the main part of the hair is already teased, which kind of creates a little bit of kind of a mole. I that goes all the way down and now we're going to start on the sides, and it's pretty much very important on the sides to start pretty much where you'll be comfortable but making sure that it's very organic together that it doesn't separate. So you tease it perpendicular to what you've already done exactly and then we're going to lift it up, because that's kind of what we want to do again. Really important thing is not to tease the ends whatsoever, cuz you're, going to use that was later right and yes, any attention. Yes, of course, and as you can see on their sides because we're going to make them pretty slim we're not teasing as much so today. We'Re just going to do. I believe we should definitely try to put up on each other and just to kind of show what could be done with that.

Matt T.: Yeah, Scissorboy Rocks. And so does Stas, a true hair styling master in the industry. :-)
