Hi I'm T Cooper, I'm a New York City, makeup, artist, hairstylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company Metro. Look hey today. We'Re gon na talk about short to medium length, hair updos, my model right here. She has medium length hair, so we're gon na. Do a nice little updo on her and we're gon na make her look as if she has more hair than she actually does. Have we love doing that? It'S all about tricks in this business, so I'm turning her to the side, so you can kind of see what I'm doing so. What I'm gon na start with is I'm just gon na build a little bit of height on the crown and I'm just gon na tease it just a little bit. Nothing too dramatic. We just want to give some kind of volume in the hair. I'M also gon na do it on the sides as well so now we're gon na do. Is I'm gon na gather that hair that I just teased of taking a section from the side and I'm just gon na, pin it in place like so crisscross your bobby pins? If you need to to make sure that it holds secure, but hair is pretty good with bobby pins, so I only need to utilize one. I'M gon na take another section from right above the ear grab this pesky little bugger. She has this one hair on the side that always wants to creep out, but I will make it listen. You will obey and then we're gon na do the same thing just very lightly, just twist it over and already that creates some detail in the back. That'S really pretty when you do one twist, one hair over another, it's just gorgeous so now, I'm gon na do the same exact thing on this side. I'M just gon na twist. It and pin it over here, and even if I don't do anything else, and you just see that that is beautiful, but we're gon na keep going so now we're gon na spray, this just to make sure it stays in place and we're just gon na curl. The bottom of this hair a little bit, I'm gon na curl it and maybe three sections and I'm not even gon na - leave it on terribly long. I just want to put a little bit of texture into this hair, so I'm gon na hold it on for maybe 10 seconds. Let it go and you see I don't really have a tight curl going on. It'S just puttin some kind of texture into the hair, and, what's up to, is it's all about having some kind of wave or bends in the hair, because that just helps you manipulate the style better and it just looks prettier, although I have seen some really pretty Straight-Up twos as well, but this is my preferred style. Okay. This is almost ready just a couple more seconds, so I'm gon na let that go and before I do anything else, I'm gon na spray. It I'm just gon na loosen this up with my fingers and now I'm just going to actually physically tie it like a nut and then I'm gon na tie it one more time. This can get tricky, especially if you have a lot of layers in your hair and now that I have my knot in place. I'M just going to pin it at the bottom, pin it from both sides to make sure that they're not stays in place, and then we are all done. Look at this beautiful hair love that I'm T Cooper and thank you so much for watching.

Ferne: Both the stylist and the model seem like really fun people <3
