How To Put Your Hair In An Audrey Hepburn Bun : Updos & Hair Styling

Hi, my name is Claire Coleman, I'm a hair stylist and I'm going to show you how to do an Audrey, Hepburn bun. Now, first thing we're gon na. Do we're gon na start with our hair in a high ponytail. We'Re also going to take the front section and just separate that out from your ponytail now you're just going to take the hair and start wrapping a curl around your fingers. Take two fingers and you're just wrapping it around. You might take a couple, tries to get it nice and clean, especially when your hair is really long and you're just kind of making like one big barrel, curl like this and we're just going to secure it. I start by anchoring the center in and you're. Basically, just securing it to the hair, that's pulled into the ponytail, make sure your ends stay tucked in. I might take a few extra pins if your hair is really long and thick and then you're just going to kind of fan out your curl, so it basically from the back, looks like a half bun and you're just opening it up to make a fan. Once you found that out secure it just a little bit more make sure to hide your pins really. Well, then you're going to take these side pieces and you're just going to pull them in and make a pinning there. This will also help to cover your hair tie and any pins that you might have left out and do the same thing on the other side, and I like to put a little bit of volume. So I don't make the top section too close to the head. Pin that piece in as well and then I'm just going to tuck my ends into the role that I made it's easy. If you just kind of twist the ends up a little bit, take another bobby, pin and just tuck it right in you couldn't use a little bit of hairspray just to clear up any flyaways all right - and this is our look from the back.
