How To Prep Thin Hair

How to prep thin hair is a problem for a lot of women. In this video I will show you a few techniques how you can create more volume for your hair.

# 1 Use products, but please no heavy ones. It will not help you if they are strong, it's more important to place them right.

# 2 Blowdry your hair with a brush and alway against the natural growth direction

# 3 Use big vicro rollers in dry hair

#4 Use a big curling iron and always remember that the roots need the most heat

Please let me know if it works for you or if you have any questions. Suggestions for other hair problems or what you'd love to see are more than welcome.

Thank you.....yours Karin

Hi and welcome back to my beauty Channel last week, I promised you to show you how to prep thin here, it's very important to put product in when the hair is done. It'S more important to have the product on the root, then in the length. So just spray them on the roots and lift it at the same time. Never brush it down like this and let it dry lift it lift it. You can give yourself a little head massage already, so I will show you how to blow dry it and later you will see it, you will have hair and it looks like it's more hair and that's what we wan na have you see, and I did nothing. I did not blow dry it with a lot of round brushes or something, and it has already this look another trick. I can tell you that you use micro rollers you get up in the morning. You look in the mirror and think, oh I can't go out like that. You put them in before you go in the shower in the dry hair. I always put put it it dry here if you use it on wet hair and the hair dries. It goes more tight around the roller, it's very hard to remove them them, so this kind of roller just use in the dry hair you brush it really to the front the roller has to lay on top of here. Then I have two volume later. If you brush it like this and you roll it, it will lay on top here. So the next part will not have volume down here on the roots, and I want to have two volume on the roots put it in before. You have a shower because in the shower the hair will get a little dump. So after the shower you just leave the rollers in have breakfast have a coffee get dressed before you gon na leave the house, you take the rollers off and you will see the hair is settled in the new form. It will give you much more volume. Here. Is gon na be shiny? If you say okay, I don't want to have to hear straight like this. It'S volume inside, but I want to have more movement. You just take a big curling iron, not a small one, because the curl will be too too small, and you look like a poodle. You don't want to have that. You just want to have a nice wave. Please do me a favor, never start at the tips. Always on the roots, because the hair is healthy on the roots need the most heat. So normally I never curl the ends that much, but because I do the hair up, I don't mind if the ends are curled as well, and the ants just need a little little little heat. If you don't take care of that, you here will be more pain because you're gon na so it cooled off already. Now we take a big comb here. You want to have more just take this to come back home, so here I take care that it's not too far out of the face. I prefer if there are little ones in the face, it's more charming, it's softer. So if you liked it just give me like down there or even subscribe, and I would be very happy as well if you would come back next time, so thank you very much see you ciao

Fairy_goddamich: Wow this is amazing! I’ve had this fine hair “problem” for a long time so I just always have my hair in a pony tail :( Look at how much her hair has changed and the steps look so simple! Will try them out!

Yelena Rivera: Wow! My mind is blown! I have been using velcro rollers the wrong way my whole life! (33 years)! Thank u so much this is so helpful! Can u do more videos on thin curly hair? How to cut? How to style? Air dry or diffuser? So many questions:)

Brittany Moran: Great videos, Karin! I appreciate your help so much. On this video, would you please provide links (or descriptions) to the brush and velcro rollers that you use? There are too many options, and it overwhelms me.

Julia Jones: Thank you for sharing your techniques! I am really enjoying your channel. I discovered by accident that my fine, thin, wavy long hair turns into a mane of beautiful curly volume if I go to sleep with it wet! I put a towel on my pillow, pull my hair up into a loose pile above and just sleep. When I get up, I bend over, spray it with Oribe Flash Form Spray Wax and lightly scrunch. Stays soft, fluffy and shiny because I am avoiding hair dryers and curling irons. And I am not brushing out all the volume or giving gravity a chance to drag down my natural curls.

Pamela Lieb: Thank you; so helpful! I never get volume or much curl from my Velcro rollers. I will try again with your technique

Karen Snow: Great video! This has been a lifelong struggle for me and your tips are amazing. May I ask what curling iron you used? The brand and size of barrel. Thank you very much

Evelyn Wald: Love your videos and tips. Would love to see what you can do with another model that not only has fine hair, but thin so that you can see more of the scalp and pin straight hair. Your model has a lot of fine hair that seems to have some natural body. I am envious. :). Thank you and your pretty model for sharing.
