YOU GUYS!!! I'm at the airport right now with Brian - we're getting ready to hop on the plane and fly back home. Anyway, we've been here in Ohio these past few days searching for a place to live annnnd..... GUESS WHAT?!! We totally just purchased a lot to build a home. EEEEK! I'm so excited. It's like, the prettiest thing you've ever seen. I'll get more details when I have them but it just felt right considering our options and we are really REALLY excited. So wish me luck. With being a home owner, and getting home safely haha! Why do planes freak me out?!

For today's hairstyle I wanted to share a quick updo I've been wearing lately. It works great on my length of hair and I love it with the different colors of blonde. It's great for getting your hair out of your face, but it's softer and more elegant than an average ponytail or messy bun. What do you think? Would you wear this hairstyle? I'd love to see it on you! If you try it out, tag me on instagram @twistmepretty. I absolutely love interacting with you guys on instagam! Oh ya. And my earrings... um do you love? Cause I love them. You can get them at Nickel & Suede http://www.nickelandsuede.com/shop/ You should check out all the different colors and patterns they have. I'm a little obsessed.

Come hang out with me on my other social medias!

I'M gon na walk a hundred miles, I'm gon na whistle, although I'll. If that's what it takes to make me smile, I'm gon na walk a hundred Maya, hey guys, it's a be from twisty, pretty today we're doing a really soft kind of elegant looking updo. So if you want to know how to do it, stick around you're going to start off with kind of textured hair. So mine's a couple days old and I curled it around like a one-inch wand a few days ago, and then I've just been sleeping in the curls anyway. You don't really need tons of curl for this update, because we're kind of throwing it all back make sure that it has like some sort of texture to it, that your hair does or I'll just follow right out of the bobby pins. So what we're going to do is start by taking your. What is this, your pinky and your thumb and we're going to make kind of a pompadour, and then I've already teased my hair. I think most of you guys already know how to do that. So let's skip it and then usually, if you have a part on the side at least it gives me grief sometimes so I kind of have to massage that hair right there make sure that that part is not showing and then once you have, the hair pulled Back like this you're going to kind of push it forward and that's going to create a really pretty kind of bump or pompadour and then just put a little X with your bobby pins. I used to try to hide them, but the pump never leaves how I wanted to when I'm trying to insert the bobby pins differently, so I'm just putting kind of an X right there and then you're just going to spread apart that hair, alright pompadour killer style. Okay, so what we're going to do is pull our hair half up and I don't want you to take all of the hair, so this would be taking all there. So there's like a line straight across. I want you to gather just the very very top sections sections, so I just have a little bit of hair so see all that hair. That'S still left down, and I still have lots of hair to work with so we're going to put it into half up. So kind of brush through any bubbles that you might have alright, what we're going to do is fold bang or no, so I'm holding it in my left hand and I'm going to take my right hand and kind of I'm going to grab a section on the Left and I'm going to fold the hair over itself and kind of create this like little angle fold. If you guys can see that and then take your bobby pin with the flat side up you're going to grab just a little TV section of hair and you're going to push it there real, so we're going to grab a section right underneath the half up you Could just made and we're going to start kind of rolling, so we're going to be rolling this hair up and then right when we get to about the center, is where we're going to pin it okay, so you want to make sure that your roll doesn't have Too much like volume right here or it's going to start falling out so take your bobby pin and I am inserting mine in I'm, going to grab a little bit from right where the fold starts, grab gravity new section of hair and I'm just going to pull It in like that, so I'm going to continue rolling hair and you want this roll to be a pretty good size. That'S what kind of makes it look unique. Is this thick rule, okay, so which is kind of pin as you go and then you're going to follow the grain so you're going to kind of twist it back under that way? I don't know whether this one's kind of hard for me to explain just following fingers. They will tell you all you need to know. Okay, so we're going to take another little section with our bobby pin right kind of almost on the fold and then push it in and now we're going to continue wrapping the same direction. So we were rocking up and now that we folded around we're going to be wrapping under the neck, but it's still the same direction at that make sense so wrap it underneath and grab all the remaining hair. That'S on your neck fold it under and what we're going to do to tie it off is we're going to wrap this around. So look I just I just wrapped it this way and now I'm wrapping it under, but I'm going to be tucking this stuff up. So I actually don't have a mirror, so I can't really see what I'm doing um, but this is the basic gist I'll go ahead and fix it for the final look but um yeah, then you're, basically just going to kind of pin and you want to make Sure to get those hairs that were underneath you just put underneath you want to make sure to to pin them, so they don't kind of fall out, see how easy that is. It'S cute, okay, so that feels pretty tight. Now I'm going to go ahead and use my favorite hairspray in the white world. It is Kendra 25. I love it because it doesn't make my hair feel dirty because you all know that I never wash my hair. It'S not gross. It'S perfectly healthy. I promise, but I never washed my hair, so if I put product in it the wrong kind of product, I feel like it makes me feel so dirty that by day two I like have to wash all the gunk out, but this holds really well and I Don'T feel like it leaves my hair feeling dirty the next day, so I'm just going to kind of spray and you're going to want to spray it and then push it in the direction of the hair. Let'S go so. This is just a really really nice finishing spray. It'S it's a little bit pricey. You can't get at the grocery store, but I have this for like months now, you really don't go through the bottles, fast um, so yeah. This is the final. Look. You guys another really soft and easy updo. I just really love how it kind of spirals around that valley. Yeah, if you like this hairstyle, make sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel below. So you don't miss any videos there weekly on Wednesdays and then you can find me on instagram at twisting pretty, and my website is twist me pretty calm, so you can find my entire gallery thing.
