Today we have a mission to create a hairstyle that will take us above and beyond, and today I bring you my double braided space, buns or space balls as I like to call them. Please enjoy. Oh, oh, oh, my I stuck oh keep enjoying. So this hairstyle is great for those days where you don't want to wash your hair just yet. So it's nicely textured and gritty, and also it's great for shorter hair, like mine, even shorter, because if I put up my hair higher the shorter layers in the back, which is gon na fall down because they're way too short to go up as high. Do you get started need to put your hair in the middle from the top going all the way to the back of your head in the bottom, take one side and we're going to pin it away and work on one side at a time, I'm going to Flip my head over so the hair is laying downward that's going to be easier on yourself to braid your hair, going from the back up, make sure you brush your hair, going up so there's no tangles or knots, and then once it's nicely smooth. This is where we're going to start grabbing a small section from the very back of your neck to start braiding start off on the back of your neck and grab a small section and divide into three portions. So I'm going to start up on the left side. Take that small portion and tuck it underneath the middle and then go to the other side as well. Take the right section and tuck it underneath as well. So I'm going to go back to the left side, take a small section and add it to the left portion. Combine the two and then add it underneath the middle and do the same thing to the right side. Take a small section clean it up, combine it to the outer right and take them both underneath the middle and continue doing this, adding hair cleaning it up so making sure it's not messy or naughty or tingly, and then just keep adding it back and forth to Each side and I like to keep these braids nice and tight, especially in the back, because I do have very short layers so that way the hair stays nicely intact the whole day, however long you have a time for once, you finish braiding, I like to take It kind of like in a diagonal at the very top right above my ear and then whatever I have left of the hair, I'm going to finish. Braiding dutch-style, basically donate any more hair to the braid. Just finish, braiding it off take a clear elastic and just tie off the end. If you think this looks good, you just wait, it gets better all right, you guys guessed it go into the other side and do exactly the same thing and keep them nice and tight just the way we like it. So once your braids look like sisters that twin that's the beauty of doing your own hair, it's not even but that's okay, it looks good. Nonetheless, my braids are tied off now we're going to move on to the space bun all right, you guys before we do. The space buns I take a mine of the braid, I'm not gon na go as high, I'm just going to take it apart, just a little bit because I actually want to incorporate this hair in the bun. That looks good, I'm going to tie it off. Let me show you how to get a nice voluminous bun when you don't have that much hair to work with, or you have a lot of layers in your hair like I do alright, so we fixed the other braid as well, which took it apart. Just a little bit and now we're going to take them to get there to incorporate it into one big section, make sure whip this down. Take the two sections put them into one and then tie them off with a clear elastic. So once you have a nice high ponytail with the braid and your section from above, I'm going to take a teeny comb and just kind of tease the hair just a little bit to give it a little bit more volume from the front on the sides. On the back, not too much, and then I'm going to take the hair and I'm going to split it right in half kind of creating a flat pancake right on top of the ponytail. Once you have the ponytail flattened out on top of the ponytail, I'm going to take an extra clear elastic, I'm going to hold the wood down with one hand, and I'm just going to take the clear, elastic and place it right in the middle kind of like Creating this weird top nut on the top, so you see how we have hair laying down I'm going to go back up and I'm going to start pulling it on each direction: crane a bigger, better voluminous space bun. So once you started pulling your hair out, like I did you're going to start composing your bun to make it nice and Lync and more pretty instead of having your hair everywhere. Take your bobby pins and just pin down your bun because you're working with a lot of short hair, a lot of short bobby pins, will be required to make it nice and perfect. So this right here is the mini, and this is the regular meta grip size. So they'll both met a grip brand. I love the mini ones for the top nuts because they hide very well and they're, not too long, but they work very well my face so once you've composed your bun, I like them, but we're gon na move on to finishing in the hairstyle. So because I have really short hair on the sides, I'm just gon na take them down kind of chill them out a little bit. Lace lay them nicely down, and then you seal all these little flyaways on the top, because they do have lots of layers. So the flyaways or the short hairs, they're sticking out I'm gon na take some hairspray and then spray it right at my fingers, get them nice and wet and then just flatten them down to my little bun here. I'Ve been involved in my taxi just a little bit and there you have it. You have my double braided space buns or Spade balls, whichever you prefer. What do you guys think of this hairstyle and where would you actually wear it kind of reminds me of the Princess Leia from Star Wars? I'D wear this probably to the gym. Eating chips on the couch going out to parties may be some kind of special event. It'S very versatile. I think I hope you guys like this hairstyle. My colourist bleached me white very cleverly so I don't get a grow out line but do get contrast dark/lights in the braids. Once bleached in went the colours.
