In this summer 2012 hair tutorial I'll show you how to make a faux bob, that is create an illusion of a short haircut with your own medium length hair. This updo is perfect to fake short hair without cutting it. In the first part of the video you'll learn how to use your own shortest layers for a faux bob with feathered out ends, while in the second part of the video you'll see how you adapt this hairstyle for longer hair without layers. This versatile updo suitable for work and office as well as and for special occasions. This look works best on most medium long hair types - thin / thick straight / wavy / curly hair, with or without layers.
This modern yet classy hairdo is perfect for a reception party, for prom, homecoming, graduation party, ball, wedding guests and all kind of stylish special occasions and evening events. Decorated with fancy hairband, this hairdo will also look great as a beautiful bridal or bridesmaid updo. It will look great for Christmas and New Years eve.

Hello and welcome to another hair tutorial today, we'll show you how to create an illusion of a short haircut with layers medium length. The first technique works best for those of you whose layers very short, is mine. Well, the second one is suitable, also for longer hair. I start from section in the hair at the top of my head. I basically want to gather all the shortest layers together and secure them in place, so this is how it looks like after have taken all the hair above this level and secure this in place. I bring the remaining hair into a ponytail and start twisting it. I directed upwards to create the French twist. I tuck the ends of my hair under the twist and secure it with hair pins. The thicker are your ends. Blue, looser should be the twist so that there is more space under it's to hide the ends I catch the edge of the twist with each hairpin reverse it in dope is a direction and push it under the twist as close as possible to the scalp. The following step is to tease the hair above the twists, I'm going to use my shortest layers to create an illusion of a bob haircut to discuss without tense, but even if your hair isn't layered, you still want to tease it at this point, we're good hold And needs results.
