Hi guys and I've decided that I love with my hair of the day, videos and any random hair tutorials that I decided to put up. I'M also going to try and do a weekly requests. Video, where I do a tutorial from a request sent in by subscriber and this week the request comes from a user called Mockingbird 893 and they have requested. Some updo looks that use chopsticks and I've already done a couple of chopstick videos. But I have some more styles that you can try. So I hope you find them helpful and you have to be aware that unless your hair is super super long and you will get bits that fall out in these styles and that's okay, they're not going to be so neat, especially if you've got layers and that I I have got there, so that's going to happen to me, but in this hairstyle you're going to take your hair as if it was you're going to put it in a ponytail and put the chopstick pointy end facing upwards, underneath the ponytail and twist it in A clockwise direction until it's facing vertically pointy end upwards again and flip it over and push it back down through your hair. It'S a really really tight hold. This second style is also really secure and really really easy again take care as if you were going to put it in a ponytail and twist it either clockwise or anti-clockwise, and pull it up to the top of your head, leaving the ends out, I'm going to Take the chopstick to the side, the smoothest side and grab some hair from that side, bring it over the twist catching some twists with the chopstick and then pushing it diagonally through this is really very, very secure, depending on how much hair you take through the twist. You have to experiment, obviously, if it's a very secure one again for the classic bun you're, going to take your hair into a ponytail high or low as you want it and twist it tightly. So it coils back on itself and you can form a bun just wrap it around nice and tightly. Keep the hair, nice and tight for this style. Keep wrapping and take a chopstick and get some hair inside of your head. Just a little bit will be fine and point the chopstick up and then down through the bun and then we'll get it back up through the button and down again so you're performing quite big movements up and then down in this 4th star you're going to create A bun, but not a coiled bun, a nice flat bun so take care as if you're putting it in ponytail and just give it a couple of twists for secureness. And then you should be able to just wrap your hair around. If you keep your fingers in the center of the bun, this should make it easier and take a chopstick and place it in at the bottom of your bar. And when you get to the center of your bun make sure it comes out and over the top and then direct your chopstick downwards and wiggle it through back towards the bottom. I say wiggle because if you're too forceful with these chopsticks - and you have thick hair, you might snap them so be careful. Ok, this is the same style as the other classic bun, but you're just going to secure it a bit differently so again and take your hair into a ponytail and twist it around until it calls back on itself and you can form a nice tight bun. Just keep twisting and wrapping and then, when you put your chopstick in make sure again, you take some hair from the side of your head added security and then insert into the bun in a wiggly fashion, in a zigzag fashion up and down up and down through The bun from one side to the other, again experiment with this, and you should be able to achieve quite a firm hold. This is definitely one of my favorite styles to use with the chopstick as you're, twisting your hair, either clockwise or anti-clockwise direct your hair to the top of your head, and this will create a really nice French roll effect. Keep twisting right to the very ends of your hair and then fold the twists back on itself down the vertical length of the roll. Now, on the side that you haven't tapped, this hair take a small section of hair from the bottom of the twist and pull it up and over the role that you've just created. Hiding. It then insert your chopstick about 3/4 of the way up, pointing upwards and flip it back down straight through them vertically through the roll, and it will hold it very very securely. This is such a nice style, and if your hair is super long, it works really really well. If your hair is mid to long, it's a bit more tricky, but it's still well worth ago. Take your hair in your left hand as if you were doing a point out and then flip over your hand and grab it through the other side. Now these ends you're going to wrap around the base of the ponytail until you've used up all of your hair kind of you're securing your hair with the ends so pull as tightly as you can until there's no hair left and then insert the chopstick down the Length of your hand and flip it over and push it back through trying to catch hair on the opposite side, as you do so, you'll feel feel how secure this is and you can adjust and adapt the star to suit you in your head and your hair. I really love the look of this super nice and I can't wait for my hair to grow longer. So I don't get any sticking out bits for this Chinese bun star you're, going to want to skew your hair into a ponytail using a ponytail holder. That'S a similar color to your hair. Take your chopstick and just push it through horizontally over the top of the hairband and split your ponytail in two and then wrap around the stick crossing over at the bottom. If you get over in the first place and wrap around till there's, no hair left again with longer hair you're going to get a beautiful, big, volumous bun with mine, it sticks out and looks a little messy, but I've just got to deal with that when you Get to the bottom, secure with a tiny elastic band just for superious and then poke up back into the bun with some bobby pins. You might find you only need bobby pins for this style. I need the secure nests of the elastic band as well. This is a very similar style, except when you split your ponytail in two you're, going to braid each section down to the very end and just repeat the same steps: wrapping it around the chopstick, so braiding the exception and securing with a tiny elastic band. You can see my layers popping out here. If I had no layers, it would look a lot sleeker that we can only work with what you've got, inserting the chopstick above the hairband and then wrapping the plats around the chopstick. I could have hidden my hair band. A little better it's up to you might not even want to use a hairband. You could just do two plats at the back of your head. I find the hairband holds the chopstick in better. That'S it nine chopstick styles. I really hope this video was helpful. Thank you ever so much for watching

hihocandycane: This is sooo coool! I've had long hair for most of my life and never knew what to do with it other than curling, straightening, and tying up in a ponytail or bun. These dos are so much more interesting!! You just opened up lots of hope for me and my hair. Thank you for the video.

Flare: This helped very much I can't believe how easy it really is I thought it was a lot harder

evelienkiekeboe: Thanks, this was really helpful. My mother in law bought me a beautiful hairstick as a souvenir from their trip to Corsica. I'm starting to love it more every minute. I'll certainly check out more of your videos later.

DreizehnX: Thank you. I finally got it. :-) It's so hard to survive during summer with my thick hair and my own workaround really wasn't that great. I love the knot. Great for males too. ^^

ANNSIGGY52: Thanks for sharing! Just what I needed. Beautifully done!

Daniel McLaughlin: Alrighty. Just wanted to say; great tutorial. I've been meaning to learn to style my hair for years. Just, as a guy with long hair, nobody ever cared to tell me how. Anyway, I had tried that first one again and again in the past, but this is the first video that says how much to twist, and for the first time it actually feels relatively stable, AND comfortable. It's usually one or the other when I give anything a try. I'm going to have to look at more of your videos, maybe subscribe, and see if you have anything on using a leather berette; had one of those laying around as well, and been meaning to learn. Also have lots of ties and hairpins I don't really know what to do with, if I can help stability using that in any way.

Kitty Kat: Thank you so much for this video, so easy to understand, and very well explained. :) x

ADBC: Oh my! I like how cool & simple they look C: Thanks for the tutorial!

Anja S: Great tutorial! I've been trying to find a good one on chopstick hairstyles. Most of them don't explain very well what they're doing, but you did so beautifully :) Thanks!

RyukeKuroi: I've been looking for quite some time to do up my hair without it creeping all in my neck with hot weather. Since my hair is quite long (reaches my bum) and heavy it often falls apart with buns etc but the knot, nr 7, is so quick and sturdy. Thanks!

ceeshell2414: Now I will never carry extra hair ties around anymore... these are amazing! I never knew this was so simple. Thank you for making this video :)

B D: Perfect! We have the same hair - I didn’t think this was possible for my hair ! Thanks SO much for sharing!

Shabana Pindare: THANKS for showing such easy and beautiful use of hair -stick. I personally liked first and seventh - style. Very helpful video!

Judy Villiard: Love your video tutorials! You make it look so easy, but I'm sure I'll have problems doing it myself...

Charis Abbas: Excellent tutorial and very warm, welcoming demeanor. Your screen presence is charming and relaxing yet confident and inspired. I am a male with a faded high and tight ponytail thats almost 15 inches. The styles you eloquently presented, when adapted (as you said) and lightly fine tuned for me look amazing! Not a sentiment easily expressed by myself, lol! Also, I am horrible doing even basic braids in my own hair, perfect with others though. Some kind of mild spatial aphasia or something... But I did nearly all of these styles in one try by first watching, then rewinding and doing with you. Anyways, thank you for sharing and making my day!

Tia Smith: Thank you so much! I've been watching other tutorials and none of them helped but now I know how to!

Libby Withnall: Definitely the best tutorial I have come across. I got a hair stick a few days ago and having been having so much trouble getting it to stay in. My problem I found out, thanks to you, was not doing big enough movements when inserting the hair stick. Thankyou so much !!!!

Golen: yes I finally did it with the first one (french twist) my goodness took me forever! I had to twist it 3 or 4 times b/c my hair is so thin for the chop stick to finally stay in my hair. Now I look like a punk rocker hairstyle lol I love it though

Tazey Wazey: These are really cool can't wait for my hair to grow longer so i can use these!

carrieme: Wonderful! Thank you for such great ideas.

Melody Alexandra: Thank you for this video. My hair is short, but I got several styles off of here that work enough to get the hair off of my face. I honestly don't mind the messy bun look I end up getting. When it grows out more, I'll have to try a few more, so it's nice that I have something to refer back to.

MyHeart0509: Awesome video!!  Thanks so much.  Love your accent, by the way.  I really liked how you narrated this, instead of talking during doing your hair.  It was easy to hear your instructions, which were simple and to the point!   You're a natural and I do so appreciate your time and talent.  Thanks again.

bexsee: I always wear my hair in a bun with a chopstick because it feels so secure, especially for my long and heavy hair! I tried the first style thinking it looked beautiful but I think my hair is a bit too long as I still had about 30cm of hair sticking out oops!

Samantha Bennett: Thanks for the tips. Never thought I'd get stereotypically "Asian" hairstyles from a UK woman. This was a really great video.

Karen Mellinger: Thank you for all the ideas!  I was wondering if anyone knows where I might find longer (7" or more) hairsticks that have a hole drilled in the end or a ring attached so I can bead tails to suit me.  I make jewelry and love the effects I can get this way but all the jewelry supply companies I use only have short sticks usually around 5".

Amanda Briggs: these styles are amazing.  thank you for sharing

Sky Frost Thunder Rock: the knot is amazing! thanx for sharing!

daemonicstar: Great ideas, thanks for uploading! :)

TFK: Solid explanantions, thank you so much. Loved each of them. Oh and you have beautiful hair and eyes. xoxo.

Amethyst: thank you so much! this video was very helpful.

ProductChamploo: thank you so much!  worked on my first try!

KH Principe: I love your hair :). It's so pretty!

Lizzy Arceo: You have beautiful hair! Thankyou for this!

Carol Melancon: Love the idea of pulling a bit of the bottom hair up to cover the French roll.

Fitfully Vintage: Interesting! Thanks for the tip!

Absintheminded cat: thanks for the great chopstick tips. here is another if you have fine hair and they slide out a lot go find a chunk of beeswax ( i get mine at a local bead store) and rub plenty on the chopstick before use. this will help it grab the hair.

chorok: I am requesting wrapped around ponytail without bobby pins!!!! by the way, I love your videos

Ok_cal: I have short dreads so won't be able to do any of these sadly /: but I can practice on my mum!! I love chopsticks and wish I could use them in my hair. Very helpful video! Thank you so much! Maybe I can do this in my cosmetology class c:

Fitfully Vintage: That's very sweet of you. I was hugely pregnant in this video and pretty swollen - even my nose swelled up ?! so that's a super compliment x

Martin Lopez: omg this video was so helpful thank u

mokshi kumaravel: it  is  very  nice  as well as  smart. thank you!!!!!

Claire: I have very long wavey hair , when I do the first one there is always some hair left after I do the twist(the ends of my hair is not at the top of the do ), so I have a bit of hair left hanging down the side. Is there any way I can avoid this?

Fitfully Vintage: ooooh, I have seen those, I really want one and now that you have mentioned one it gives me an excuse to go and buy one and do a video. Thank you!

Fitfully Vintage: Thank you! I'm glad you like the video

RG 1295: Trying using a funky looking pencil/pen works a treat ;)

Bruce Jenner: OMG, my daughter was looking at hair styles and my draw dropped out when I saw you.  You are stunning.  My daughter has better hair though ;) She's the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world.

Flying Life: Thaanks! You explained it so nicee!! Love your voice ^_^

Hime-sama: Loving the knot *-*

Fitfully Vintage: It's frustrating when you can't get it - I know! You've just got to keep on trying. With the french twist it's all about the amount of hair you take from the side before you put the stick in, which will vary person to person. Sorry I can't be of more help!

sadbhavana mishra: so easy and fantastic hairstyles..

sadbhavana mishra: so easy and fantastic hairstyles..

Aki Okami: I end up with a "tail" on most of these (the ones I could figure out) My hair is fairly thick and really long so it dosen't all fit on the chopstick...

Veronika Lončar: Tried it over and over, but my hair is too layered and slippery I guess, so it just slips out of the bun :/ but thanks anyway.

simi thakkar: a hair care video please? your hair is gorgeous *-*

Patti Jimison: Awesomeness ........ Thanks

Fitfully Vintage: Wow, I could see how that could be the case. That's a shame. You'll have to find something a little lnger, maybe a paint brush? or something like that? You could trim the bristles and decorate possibly? I'll have a think x

Jordan Bellan: Why aren't you #1? This video is the best chopstick video

maggie cake: I like it

Manik Gupta: I like it

Fitfully Vintage: Are you getting all your vitamins and minerals? Your diet affects your hair definitely so make sure you are getting everything you need there. Stress can also cause your hair to fall. Hormones also have a lot to do with it. I lose a lot of hair at different times, currently it is falling like crazy - handfuls at a time so maybe it is just a stage you are going through, try not to worry x
