Hey guys, it's a be from twist me pretty today we are doing the two Pooh Gatsby inspired hairstyles, so one is a very vintage Karl, very appropriate for the period and then the other one is a really pretty up. That'S really easy to do so. If you guys are dressing up as like a flapper girl from the Roaring Twenties and you need some hair through, I should make sure to stick around also subscribe to below, to support this channel and because well you don't want to miss any future videos because, let's Be honest: these videos are pretty cool right thumbs up yeah yeah, yeah. Okay, before we get started, I want to do a quick review of this new curler set that I've been using and also there might be a giveaway at the very end of this video. So stay tuned, it's called lioness is the brand. It comes in this really pretty box and you open it up and it has four different size, barrels and then here's obviously like the curler. So you have your tapered barrel. Maybe this is a tapered barrel. It is 18 to 25 millimeters, so this barrel you would use for really like natural beach waves good barrel. Then you have your 19 millimeter barrel. This is a smaller barrel and this is the one we're going to be using today to get to tight curls. So this is a nice size to have, and then you have the 25 millimeter, which is what I use usually every day. This is the most frequently used size, um, so 25 millimeter, and then you have your Vulcan thirty two millimeter look up because it's like an inch and a half or something Jeff, maybe um, but I just started actually using this size and I really love it in The Katy tutorial last week that I did this is the size that I use to curl and get those really big waves. So anyway, if you're looking for a new iron, I i grens there's four of them. I guess I really really love this set right here. So let me put it together: all oh yeah I'll demonstrate it for you. That'S a long short long board bonus. Okay, so you just line up the little things you click it together. It has a swivel cord love that love it over the swivel cord, because there's nothing worse than when you're like over here in the cords knots with a line. Okay and then you also have multiple heat levels, so you have a setting one and a setting two and then this light turns on when it is hot, which is hopefully it's not on right now, because I'm going to have to okay and then to unclip it. You touch those little buttons right here and you take it off. Oh, I also really love that it has a little teeny stand on it, so that is nice. So anyway, this is a nice little iron. I will leave the links below and stick around if you wan na, know more details about the MLA. Okay, let's get started on today's hairstyle already. You are going to start this hairstyle by taking a few inches of hair from the bottom splitting the section in half and braiding two braids we're just going to tie these off and then loop them around each other to get them out of the way it will Not matter what this looks like, so don't take your time here we are just looping them around each other and then I'm using bobby pins to secure it together. Next we're going to pull down a section of hair from the clip. That'S a little bit smaller than an inch and we'll be curling, really small sections of hair, so we're going to be wrapping the hair around a 19 millimeter wand towards the face and I'm using the glove. Because, unlike when I throw my hair for everyday, I want the ends to be curled, so because I want the hair as close to the barrel as possible, I found that using the glove was just easiest and it was super hot, with all my lights on. So I kind of took it on and off through how I'm curling and obviously, after you curled the hair you're, going to immediately wrap it back up and secure it with a duckbill clip to cool. So do this all over your head and right when you get to the very top section you're, just going to kind of move forward with those sections so bring the hair forward, wrap them around your finger once you've released the heat and then secure the duckbill clip And then I sprayed it with some light hair spray. This is the lioness hair spray and then you're just going to let it sit for a while. So I wouldn't need dinner, look cools, curl, maybe about half an hour, and then I took those 5000 of pote Clips out of my hair. You we're going to the light hand and take a brush and brush under all the curls so because they curled them on the same direction towards the face. You should get a nice S shape in these curls. Now I'm using lioness hair serum, it's infused with vitamin E and I'm using it here because it manages the frizz really well so you're going to want some type of product that combs down all that frizz and then we're just going to tease the roots a little Bit now we're just going to hold the hair from the very bottom and roll it up and pin it into those braids that we made at the beginning. So mine is pretty easy to do, because my hair is fairly short right now, but I've done this in the past with really long hair and it's the same concept. You'Re just gon na gather the hair roll it up and pin it. I'M spraying my curls with my lion. A styling spray and stuff smells amazing and it's really light, which is what I want to do. Sponsee curls next up is the headband. This one is from what a Betty it's from their Gretchen collection, and it is absolutely amazing. All the links will be in the description box below make sure to check out their website because they have some crazy inspiration over there and I'm just going to tie this up a little bit around so that it goes little. Tails get out of the way and voila you're done. This is a pretty easy, tutorial, huh and, of course, a close up on this unbe using a headband. It'S so pretty you guys and up next we have the gorgeous and super easy updo. I'M gon na apply. Add I don't know, apply I'm gon na clip in some extensions real fast, just one weft. If you don't have any it's, not a big deal, you do not need them. Attach your headband make sure the headband is really snug, because we're gon na be adding some weight to it. So you remember the twirl around tutorial. We did it during the 30 days while we're doing the same thing here, just taking sections from the nape of the neck and twirling them over and around the headband, when all the hair reaches the other. Shoulder take that large section twirl it up into the headband and then I'm just taking the bun and kind of pinning it. You have some large bobby pins to get the look that I want so you're, really just gon na have to use your own creativity and keep at it until you get that look and that shape that you're going for so just kind of mess around with the. In the mirror, I'm just kind of pinning it to keep that bun up and forward rather than canid down. And curling it makes it more volumious which makes my hairstyles even more pretty. And using this set will help me.
