Easy Curly Hair Hacks WITHOUT Damaging Your Hair With Joslyn Davis

This could really be a look. This could be a style. Could it for what why not life meetings? It is very high fashion. It'S very Milan Fashion, Week of us, yeah, hey guys, I'm Jocelyn and I have been wearing my hair curly for about three months now and I'm Simone and I've been wearing my hair curly for a little bit longer here's the thing about your curl journey. It never ends. Never I've been wearing my curly hair for years now and I'm still learning new stuff all the time, and I want to learn some new tips, tricks and hacks today with you, if you're doing the right things at night, if you're taking care of your curly hair, While you're sleeping that means you really don't have to wash it too many times a week, and also when you wake up in the morning, you don't look like you were just electrocuted or something crazy happen to you. While you were sleeping and there's a really simple trick that you can do it's called pineapple in your hair and when I first heard that I was like excuse me pineapple in my hair, I literally thought they meant, like your hair, not pineapple, and I was like This is not practical at all. I was on Amazon. I was like. Where can i buy the pineapple for my hair, but it actually? It just refers to the style and what your hair looks like coz, you're gon na look like a pineapple. Let'S do it you're gon na flip, your hair over gather all the hair that you can and you just put it in a big high ponytail on the top of your head, and if you have really long hair much longer than ours, you can actually wrap it Around into a pineapple bun, oh, your hair looks really cute like that. I kind of think I kind of actually like this pineapple style, but I recommend using silk scrunchies because it doesn't leave an indent in your hair, yeah, just kind of meant to hold it in place so that, while you're sleeping things don't get into a state of Disarray and you'd be really surprised when you wake up in the morning and you let your hair out of the pineapple. It actually is not that bad like it's not in bad shape at all. Oh, I was so skeptical. I was like this pineapple thing. This is never gon na work and then I was like whoa whoa taking reports back, it looks pretty good. No, the pineapple is real. The whole goal of this Joslin is to do the least amount of work possible. I'M like how can I be ready in 30 seconds or less and on many days I don't want to take a curling iron in my hair. I don't want to spend a lot of time. I love this product. This is literally called curl refresher. When I travel. I put it into a tinier container. You just take this spray. It on your hair, give it a little scrunch again. I was highly skeptical that this would work and it works tremendously. I'Ve never tried this product. Actually, I'm really excited. Oh yeah. You can see the frizz just kind of melting away, definitely - and I would say something like this - is really good for that like day three day, four day, five hair where you're like this is getting dark. I don't know what to do. We try to make it stretch. Yes, I need to get this. You can have this, it's my Christmas gift to you early for 2019. Really, yes, I know I'm very generous, so another option that I've seen a lot of curly Queens using is the finger curl concept and that's where you wet your hair, you put a little bit of conditioner in and then just like a curling iron. You take the hair, that's unruly wrap it around your finger like that, and then you grab the hair. With the other hand, I just hold on to it and then take one of these guys leave it there. Sometimes I'll do this in the morning and drive to a meeting and then when I get there, take about and pray that they look up. Okay, I really should be doing this more often because the less heat the better exactly and then when you're done, yeah we're gon na, take them out, and you have a nice little look at that. I know it works right, and that was what 30 seconds I'm. So blown away right now, no it's this guy in the front that looks fantastic this one though you should almost just like put the rest in a pony and just leave that one Colonel Allen, hello, hey having a hero moment with that Colonel I like it when You'Re having a soso hair day, what's your go-to style, so I'm all about the art of distraction, because sometimes with this curly life style, like your hair, is just not behaving the one thing I've really come to love. Are these colorful and metallic move they're very affordable? You can buy them pretty much everywhere. These ones look really great and like darker colored hair, because they are gold which is really fun. Literal Gold's Bob Evans never seen these, and then I also have pink, which is fun for, like you know, an 80s day girly. I got, and these are actually super super in style. One of my favorite things to do is to just take my hair. Do a nice little like side part and then pull it back like this. Oh, I like what I'm seeing here and then just start putting the bobby pins in really close together, very close together, all a few of them going one way as you can see, and then you take a couple more because you're edgy and you know what you're Doing and you crisscross them the other way and then you're like oh, I meant to look like this. It looks really cute. I love this. I feel like it'd have to be like a runway model to pull that off. You basically are like who are you kidding? What'S your go-to? Well, it's far less creative than yours. It'S very easy, for whatever reason I just feel like anything high on my head with my curls looks best someone told me to kind of just randomly grab pieces as you're pulling it up and and sort of just leave some of them down. That gives you a more like Drew Barrymore in ever after sort of half down very whimsical. Yes, we love a good whimsy moment and I am always forever inspired by the height of Ariana's high pony. You know it's honestly her neck muscles must be so strong from that is a serious Coney tale. It is wait, and then this is the key. You'Ve got ta pull it. This looks very, very cool. What can be trying to act like I'm creative, though I literally just threw half of my hair? No, that looks really trendy really hip, and I think the cool thing about having something high up is that it like brings your eye up. So people are really just looking at your face. I hope so. I bet your hair looks great too honestly at the end of the day, this is all about loving who you are and loving what you were born with yeah, and I think that really and truly not to get too deep thoughts. Usa, but we will, I think that is the main message that is the main tip is that you have to come to a place where you are super, confident who you actually are what you actually look like. That'S how you're gon na have like your best life, because you can tell when someone is confident Brasher just radiates, it is transcendent and it stands out. It really really does, and I'm curious to know from you guys watching, because these are just like a handful of tips and tricks and hacks that we use. But what do you use? What makes you feel confident and beautiful and like you're, just embracing who you are hit, the comment section and let us know, I love those scrunchies by the way, if you want me to add more scrunchies to my arm subscribe down here. Oh, you want her too, and if you want to see another video click right over here, serving up lots of goodness

Joslyn Davis: THIS WAS SO FUN!!!!! obviously there are so many hacks out there and these were just a few but gosh, I feel like I'm learning something new every day:) Thank you Simone and Today for having me!!!!

Hope Hollingsworth-Veneziani: I use curl conditioner by grainier. Because I wake up the next morning, spray my hair with lots of water then my curls become controllable and they look and feel great again,

Kerri Evans: Look at Joslyn the curly guru!!

hippyhayls: I'm pretty sure most of these could apply to most curly hair types even if they necessary aren't represented in the video.

emily_brandy: Does anyone else get headaches when they pineapple or just ponytails in general. And if I leave it too long it even feels like my follicles hurt

Morgana Cannon: I don't use heat tools, I don't diffuse, I don't use a hairbrush I don't use harsh products and I have hair that is threatening to bald me if I put it up in a ponytail wet and you get to just float through life with the philosophy of "don't have time to use a curling iron so I try these hacks" "the less heat the better" ... How nice for you.

Mary EM: Was I meant to get 1984 vibes? Maybe. But I liked it!

Siobhán K.: Careful with Ouidad products they are mostly NOT CG. Friendly. From what I’ve read.

Zoe600smile: You Googled where can I get a pineapple for my head? Is this a joke?

Ashleigh Burroughs: This is not curly hair. Where is the representation of kinkier textures?
