Hello, so tomorrow i'm going to be a guest at a wedding. I wanted to try out a few hairstyles that i kind of like conceived in my head, that kind of like embrace my waves. So, let's see if this works out, if you guys want to come along with me on the ride, then just keep watching so i'm starting off with freshly washed hair. I washed my hair this morning. My waves look so happy and just in case my waves aren't like wavy enough. I guess i have my water bottle spray. I think this is handy, especially if you're working with like day two day, three hair so for this first style, i'm gon na just flip. My head upside down and put it into like a medium high ponytail. If you like, you, can like spray and hairspray as we go. Okay, let's just take some hair out. So if you have face framing bangs even better, but if you don't that's fine. Just take two pieces towards the front: we're going to be needing a lot of bobby pins for this one, we're going to take our curls, i'm taking like about an inch and i'm going to curl it twist it a little bit in my finger in my hand And just kind of make a loop, i made a loop against my head. Taking my bobby pin, make sure the wavy part is to your scalp and we're going to secure that to my head. Just like that and we're going to keep doing that with a bunch of our curls in alternating sections, you don't really have to do too much twisting, especially if you already have textured hair and it's going to look weird at first. But trust me. The end result is going to look good you're, just kind of like making loops around each other and taking some hair, i'm gon na bring it to the front. Did you see that feel free to just kind of like change directions? It'S different from when, if you just like, pushed all of your hair together in one bun, because this kind of has more structure to it, you are utilizing the texture that you have. If you really wanted. I noticed that in some updos people will leave like little strands hanging by their neck, a little bit framing their face. You can totally feel free to do that, but i just kind of wanted something: a little bit more cleaner. I guess for the front pieces you can like scrunch it. You could like kind of spray it with some water and like put some hairspray in it or gel. You can obviously clean up the sides put in you know some hairspray water comb it down with your edge brush or whatever, but i think you guys kind of get the picture. I think this is really cute and elegant and you don't need any hot tools for this hairstyle number two. I would suggest that you take two elastics because um, i think for any of these hairstyles, because your hair's thick and you're probably going to dance. So you kind of want your hairstyle to stay in place and we're just going to gather our hair in a medium level ponytail before we do that, let's just take some pieces that frame the face. It makes a big difference for me, especially so, let's like make a little ponytail and then we're going to take out our front hair. Now. What we're going to do is we're going to do this, like twisting thing, you kind of want to make sure that this line is kind of, even and straight we're going to take the front most part of one side and kind of just pull it back, and Then we're going to leave a strand the next strand that kind of comes up we're going to leave it on our face, then take another strand, that's kind of right next to the sham that we left and twist it with the first piece that we have out Does that make sense and grabbing the piece next to it and twisting it now, i'm just twisting the rest holding it and kind of like letting it go a little bit and pulling at the twisted piece just a little bit taking a bobby, pin and pinning that Down kinda looks like this okay same thing. On the other side, take this piece, that's closest to my face, pull it back and then just leave a little piece of hair here to frame our face and then we're just going to twist the rest of the hair. So i'm like twisting it adding some hair. This is very kind of like messy and haphazard, i'm just kind of like very gently twisting my hair, but basically i'm just twisting my hair like little by little, adding a little bit of hair each time. Now. I'M kind of letting go of my hair a bit and now pulling at the most outermost strands. Take a bobby, pin or two and pin that down and then for our actual ponytail, take a little bit of hair and wrap it around the elastic. Pin that with a bobby pin, of course, if you have longer hair, it might be pretty to do like a medium level ponytail, but my hair is kind of short. So i put a low ponytail if it was day of i'd, probably like spritz this down with more water before i even styled that now we're going to kind of do like a low, chignon kind of thing, separate our hair down the middle and if you'd, like You can kind of like spray, your hair with some water and some gel hairspray, so it looks cleaner as you go. Take your two elastics we're going to gather most of our hair, almost like you're, creating a half ponytail we're going to be leaving a little bit of hair about like three inches wide. What i'm going to do with this hair is i'm going to make just like a little loop. That kind of looks like this and i'll show you how to do it. I just want to tell you, because if i face that way, you can't hear me made a little loop and you can see some of my like front hairs fell out. That'S totally fine! We'Re going to take this hair that we left out and we're going to braid it. If you have wavy hair, you probably know how to braid um, but if not you just kind of um, there are plenty of tutorials, so it helps. If you have one of those like tiny little elastics, the little rubber ones, i'm just going to take a black, scrunchie and secure this, and now i'm just going to kind of like pull up my braid a little bit pull out the outermost edges, the outermost strands. To kind of get more dimension, if you pull too much towards the center, it's going to mess up the braid, so just pull out the outermost sections and be patient with it. You'Re going to take this braid and wrap it around the elastic of the loop. I can go clockwise, but then the braid will end up too short, so i'm going to go kind of the opposite way. This way in the braid with some bobby pins. So i took the any pieces that were sticking out and i braided that - and i pulled that around my chignon again. So let me show you so it should be braided over this loop. So for your front pieces um, i think i would actually like curl it, because i think this is kind of like a look where it would look really cute if you curled them. But if we don't want to use any heat, we can absolutely just spray it with some water and twirl a little bit okay, so i'm going to really quickly just take your diffuser and just like dry. These ends really quick, so i'll be right back. Okay, i'm back, i diffuse my front ends um and they look a lot smoother. So i hope this was a helpful video if you liked it, please give it a big thumbs up, and i will see you guys in my next video bye, bye, bye, bye, bye,
