Easy Updos For Long Hair - Curly Updo

Hey guys it's Lexie today, I'm going to be doing I'm this up do for long, hair um. I'M really excited for this tutorial. I think it's so cute. It'S super elegant! You could wear this to like a prom, a wedding. You could wear it out to dinner. On a date, it's I just give this the cutest thing it reminds me something: Carrie Underwood was where I feel like she's, probably worn something similar to this. I just love her so much so yeah. I guess it's kind of like her inspired look um, but let me show you the side. You see it's got a bump here. I think that's really cute in the back see, there's all curls. I think this hairstyle is so cute. That'S needs to be said in the intro, so yeah, alright, let's get started so the first thing that I'm going to do is I'm i curled my hair and you can check out my victoria secret waves tutorial. I that's how I did these pretty waves. I think they're perfect, I'm going to be good for this hairstyle, I'm going to be doing today and i'll link that below so make sure you check that out. It'S a really really good video um. So I guess we'll start with what we do have to be carbs after you curl your hair you're, going to take a section, then you're going to take your bangs, that kind of section them off and take everything else behind it and start teasing. Now it doesn't matter if the curls come out, because, honestly, the top layer isn't going to matter and if it does, you can always curl it again. So I'm just going to go ahead and tease and, as you all know, I like to tease a lot. I'Ve gotten lots of comments on how much i like to tease, but yes just think it looks cute so just kind of to get the volume you like, then you might not like it. This bakery might like it bigger than this, but just kind of doing what I like here, all right. So what I'm going to do next is take some bobby pins. I all I did was I took my hair from the side and I pulled it back just like that. I'M going to pin that just like that, see that and then try to turn around here. So you can see I'm doing on this side and on this side, um. Okay, I'm going to take my bags and everything here in this side. You might need a comb a little bit starting my mirrors over here and it's just hard for me to see. Just look at the front here so you're just going to want to get it to the size. You want. Tease it down or comb it down. Yet tease it down. That makes total sense. Okay, so now just take bobby, pin and place in just like that. Oh ok, so now you can see you have a cute little bump there. Now I'm going to take one more bobby, pin and just secure it in the center just like to make sure that it's going to stay. It'S my poof thing that matters. Ok! Now I'm going to take a section of curls like this and just kind of twist and a circular kind of emotion and you're going to pin it you're going to twist it. So that way, it's like, on top of where the bobby pins are and pin that in and if the bobby pins overlap. That'S a good thing, just like that and you're just going to keep repeating that to take a section of hair and pull it up and then find a spot for it and then twist it around. You want to leave a little bit of the ends. Hang out not too too much so and pin that down and you're just going to kind of keep pinning over top of the other bobby pins, and so just keep hitting you're going to finish that all the way around. And i will show you what it looks like when i get towards the end. Okay, so I've pretty much finished the back for sure that looks like, but the only thing that there's just one little piece here and so I'm just going to take a bobby pin and just going to kind of fold it like this and pin just like that And if you have any other pieces, that kind of look like that, that's what you're going to want to do. Okay, now next thing is your bangs on either side here I've kind of pulled down some hair and, as you can tell, this side doesn't really match this side. So I'm going to take these pieces from the back here and my curling iron curl it backwards just like that. I go these pretty little curls on the sides and then its top pieces here going to take and curl to the side. Just like that, and the last thing that you're going to want to do is hairspray your hair, so yeah. That is pretty much it for this look I'll, show you the sides in the back. I think this look is really really pretty for a special occasion, and I would wear this to like a prom or I'm even think about wearing this to make maybe a dance or something.
