Our No-Heat Curl video series {see them all here... http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P...} is very popular, and it's about time that we posted another no-heat tutorial!

This one uses nothing but a few bandanas/handkerchiefs, a few rubber bands, and a water spray bottle. This technique gives you more of a wave than a full curl, and it dries fairly well because the bandanas breathe by allowing moisture to evaporate as you sleep.

You can use these curls/waves as is, or you can incorporate them as a base for any number of hairstyle combos. In this tutorial, Brooklyn simply added a simple headband as an accessory.

This is so easy, we know you all can do this! Enjoy!

Items Needed: Brush, spray bottle, 3-5 small hair elastics, hairspray and accessory {if desired}.

Time Requirement: 5 minutes

Skill Level: Easy

[, MUSIC CHARITY, VANCE ``, ICING'', ], -Hey everyone., I'm Mindy from Cute Girls, Hairstyles. And today, Brooklyn and I are going to show you how to do some. No heat bandana curls., Now you're going to love this style because it's really easy., It's quick to put in. And the bandanas just give you a really fun kind of lose wave. That'S perfect! For the next morning, when you're in a hurry.. Now, to start this hairstyle you're going to need four bandannas, just folded in half diagonally, so they're, just all crumpled up., And then we parted her hair, where she normally likes her hair parted and just divided it really roughly down the back in half.. It doesn't have to be a perfect division by any stretch., So now we're going to divide it in half again, but from top to bottom.. This is going to allow the curls to come up the hairline just a little bit farther, which Brooklyn likes better.. When you get that separated, go ahead and spritz it with just water., You want it damp, but not like sopping wet, or else it won't dry overnight.. You just want it damp enough to add the curl. You're going to take the bandana and wrap it around the hair strand like this. And then you're, basically weaving the hair around the bandana.. So you're just going to go around each side of the bandana over and over and try to keep the hair up as tight as you can. So you don't run out of bandana before you run out of hair, like with her hair, because it's long. Now the benefits using a bandana are just that it absorbs some of the moisture overnight. And also it adds a little thickness in the hair.. So it gives you nice waves instead of such tight, tight curls., I'm not quite as kinky when you get up in the morning. And it's more of like a nice subtle wave. That'S really pretty.! When you get down to the end, then just secure it with an elastic all of it together. And you're, going to repeat again on the other three sections. OK., And when you have all the bandanas put in place, then you are ready to go to sleep overnight. And just let them curl, while you sleep. So the next morning, when you wake up, just go ahead and pull the bandanas out., And you have these nice fun waves that look great., And this way you can see they came up a little higher in the top, Which we wanted -- [ INAUDIBLE ] her around --, because if we had just done four along the back, they wouldn't have come up very high. And last one.. And then I'm just going to have her flip her head over and shake it. Just use our fingers to kind of separate the curls a little bit. And then flip it back up. And there you go., You have these great waves. And you can just leave it Like this., You could add a lace braid., You could --, whatever -- put a headband in any numerous things. You can do with these great curls that you had to use no heat to achieve., Fantastic.. Ok and now you have your hair, all completely curled and ready for the day without any heat.. So I love it nice and easy., And we love easy, especially when you have early mornings and you're rushing out the door.. Now we be sure to check us out on Twitter., You can follow us @ CuteGirlHair. And I will a link in the description box below as well. And you'll see you guys next week. Bye, guys., -Bye., [, MUSIC CHARITY, VANCE, ``, ICING'' ] -And then I'm going To take it and make it a cute little bun right here on the side of her head. Tuck those ends in., You can use spin pins., [, MUSIC CHARITY, VANCE, ``, ICING'', ] -You're, the bestest girl, ever. -Yep., -Oh no. [, INAUDIBLE, ] No. Really [, INAUDIBLE ] -Hi Dad. -What. Are you doing -Blowing bubbles. -Turn around., -It's kind of the magic number for me.? I mean it's, not -- -What was it. You just said to her baby. When you had your arm around her -You're, the bestest girl. You're, the best girl. -Ever -Mm-hm. -That was cute. And so you're. Just watching yourselves blow bubbles, huh All right well, say: bye, bye., -Bye-bye,

Lissy Shortall: I've done no heat curls but instead of using the whole section of hair with one bandana I seperate the section in 2 and wrap the right strand on the right side of the bandana and the left side on the left side of the bandana! If that makes sense! Haha they make perfect ringlets!:)

Erin Stricklin: Wow, what a great idea without using heat! You guys never fail to impress! :)

sharkcheerleaders503: OMG works perfect. Did it last night. I didn't have bandanas so I used knee socks. Knee socks work like a charm to❤️

Anna Hernandez: Love watching/ trying your tutorials on my 3 daughters. Question, my girls have EXTREMELY wispy short tiny fly aways all around their face and high hairline. I cant get the diagonal braids to look normal because i end up starting so far back. Any ideas or tricks how to make the braids look good?
